Tried to call this location a week in advance to add info about our stay, phone was not answered during normal business hours. Both the workers said contraindicated things such as: the voicemail isn’t set up yet and he said it was after 6 rings which I know isn’t that case because we called many times. Anyways we were happy we were just driving through and staying just to sleep. No hospitality

Great KOA and the greeting team were awesome. Very clean and well laid out campground. Had nice walking area. Would definately recomend and stay again if we were in the area.

Awesome stay. We were on our way to Custer & Mount Rushmore and decided to stay at the Mitchell KOA. Could not have been a better choice. Park was great and very neat and clean. Hosts were great & friendly. Will stay again on our way back.

We only stayed one night, but we were treated like a long term returning guest. Our host and hostess were very nice and helpful.

Our first time at a KOA after having a travel trailer for 6 yrs. We have been avoiding KOAs as they seem to have way more amenities than we need. This one is a little more laid back and quiet.

GREAT STAFF IN EVERY WAY, UTILITIES WERE REALLY GOOD, THE CAMPGROUND WAS VERY CLEAN AND WELL KEPT. WILL DEFINITELY STAY THERE AGAIN!

Our stay at Mitchell KOA was great. This was our first stay at a KOA and it was a great first impression. The staff was very welcoming and the property was clean and maintained.

Fantastic park! We loved all the shade trees and the employees are absolutely delightful. We were only there for one night but will definitely go back if our travels take us to the area again. Gravel parking but very level.

Owners Mark and Stephanie go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and valued. Peaceful, quiet, clean. Great walking paths to stretch your legs after a long day driving. Easy to get to from 90 and great level sites for the largest of rigs and your tow vehicle

What a sweet spot to camp, spacious sites, huge pond for fishing, very clean,,, even better was the hospitality from Mark and Ron!!! Perfect stay!

Stephanie and Mark do a fantastic job maintaining the grounds and being great camp hosts. The cabin stayed in was newly remodeled and it was perfect! Cold AC and a comfy bed. Fire pit and campground grill out front were just right for my 1 night stay. Mark helped me out in the morning after my car battery died-he went above and beyond! 10/10 will definitely be back when I take this trek again!

This is probably some where in the 30th something stay at this campground.. Its got new owners, and they have made some very nice improvements. We liked it enough to stop on the way back from Yellowstone too... Its our stopping place for going to the west. its just over 650 miles from home. it's good first day out...

Love the KOA and the Town. Great Site, Best Clean Restrooms Ever and Great People! Lube Rangers worked me through a programming issue And advised me on a chronic Over heating issue which Auto Zone resolved. Great Town, Great KOA. See you soon!

Oh my goodness! This was a fantastic experience. Helpful staff, clean grounds and immaculate restrooms. Store was stocked and had anything you could think of. Sites were spacious.

We have stayed here many times traveling out west. Its a good one day drive for us... There are new owners and they are doing many improvements, updating the camp ground... This stay was on our way home from Yellowstone, we stayed there on the way out too...

When we arrived,We met Mark the Owner,We chitchatting awhile. Very pleasant. He helped us to our lot. Great pull through.The park itself, we’ll maintained And Beautiful. We were just passing through. Nice overnight stay. Very well stocked campground store, with many choices of locally prepared beverages. Got propane, on the way in, which was very convenient.

One of my favorite KOA campgrounds on our way east or west. We have stayed here many times and usually enjoy the Cattlemen's Club for dinner.

Mark & Steffany were once again AWESOME. Been staying there for 5 seasons for pheasant hunting and every year is better. Mark has made a LOT of improvements in just one year. Cabins have upgraded power. Just great people running a great KOA. Will be back again next year.

Lovely campground that is immaculately maintained by the nicest hosts ever. Intended to stay one night but came back two other nights. Big thanks to Stephanie and her husband for staying open an extra week! P.S. nicest bathrooms you will ever find at a campground.
