Having atayed at many KOAs we can say this is a very mature park. It definitely needs updating. Their website mentions lush lawns but we had only weeds and MANY ant hills. It would be helpful if they sprayed so people could sit outside. No gravel on our unlevel site,only dirt.. Wifi was good and we enjoyed looking at the many trees even tho none were near us.

It was just okay. There is only one bath house which wasn't too much of a problem, but the park wasn't full. Our campsite recently had construction so the gravel was a mess. There is also a fee per visitor which was disappointing since we were visiting our family and had arranged for them to come have dinner with us. The staff was very nice and helpful though.

Grounds maintenance - grass not cut, leaves built up, trash and cigarette butts on site. Roads - significant number of potholes that need to be filled, particularly by dump station and exit road. Bathrooms - 2 out of 4 showers not working. Tiny showers. Really needs a complete overhaul and renovation - make 3 showers of decent size. Not ADA compliant - toilets or entrance. Bathroom was clean.

The location is nice, just outside of the city but close to everything. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. However, this is an old campground. The bathrooms are not great and the showers are small, and the water had a not so great smell to it. Other than some updates and renovations, this is a good place to stay.

The staff is friendly and that’s the best part of the park. The gravel roads and sites are a huge disappointment for a KOA. And despite knowing the size of our rig and additional vehicle, the length of the site we were put in was not adequate. Our spare vehicle barely fit in the space allocated. Overall, this park is very dated, sites are too close together.

Electric and water setup on wrong side of unit.both water and electric are to close to ground. Lots of brown water We will not be back

My parents used to stay at this KOA when they visited us from Connecticut 25 years ago. We stay there now when we need to be out of the house for a few days. Our kids have a lot of fond memories of visiting Grandma & Grandpa there and it's still a clean, comfortable campground with friendly staff.

We were originally scheduled to stay for 5 nights but were able to add an extra night at check-in. Although the pool wasn't open yet thr staff was very helpful. The site is very close to several restaurants and shopping but far enough from any major roads to be nice and quiet at night.

The Campground is not attractive at all. Sites are not manicured, most sites have vehicles parked on the grass. Location is the only benefit to staying at this KOA. When severe storms (heavy winds hail and tornadoes) were predicted to hit the entire area, I asked management about storm shelters and was told they had none. The campground became a muddy mess because the roads/sites need new rock.

The location was convenient. Unfortunately the site was not cleared of debris and internet was not functioning during our 4 night stay. The laundry facilities are not open for use during evening hours which also not accommodating with working visitors.

Got a new camper and stayed at this KOA to be able to be close to home and workout kinks. Owners and employee Randy were SO great! They helped me when I couldn't figure out things on my camper and were smiling/friendly whenever I saw them! Extremely clean bathroom. Plan to always stay for first annual camping and again later each summer.

Minneapolis Northwest was the first KOA I've stayed at with my new camper. The owner management is wonderful - friendly, helpful, and responsive. The campground is well maintained, clean and surprisingly backwoods in atmosphere for it's location. I wish more cities would have campgrounds so conveniently located. I would definitely stay here again.

The staff here was very friendly, very helpful. The amenities (mini-golf and shuffleboard, in specific) could have been blown off and cleaner - but we had fun! Nice, quiet campground, easy to get in and out.

We stay there 2weeks twice a year.The owners are awesome.Very helpful and accommodating..The restrooms a showers are very clean as are the grounds.Nice trails to walk. Close to shopping o mater what you’re looking for. Conveniently located 1 mile from the freeway..

My son and I went there for the first time and my son loved it there. Now I can't remember the old lady that works there name but she is as sweet as can be . My son likes her too and call her the grandma of the camp ground
