Great campground. We were looking for a easy stay for our maiden voyage (is that a politically incorrect term now days) close to home. This KOA was close to home and supplied a great place to camp. Thanks.

It was a pass through one night stay. The office and grounds staff were wonderful. Camp site was level and hook ups were in good working order.

Pleasant service! Easy to find! Clean facilities. We only needed to stay overnight on our journey west, so we didn't try everything on offer. Noise from highway present but not overly distracting.

Ask to come in early cannot come in before 12, must call at noon, charge $15 to come in early and campground not full 3 days we stayed, not very accommodating

Staff very helpful. Showers and restrooms were clean and well taken care of. Groundskeepers were out working everyday to keep up on everything. Would not hesitate to stay again. They were in the middle of a fix on some underground pipe issue. Waiting for parts. Good play areas for the kids of all different ages. Otherwise great place.

Great older KOA campground. Nice location in north east Minneapolis metro. Friendly staff clean property, restrooms and pool.

Very clean grounds, friendly staff and well stocked store. We stay here at least once a year on our annual trip to the city and always look forward to it.

We stayed 4 nights. Check in was very easy. Pool was nice. Bathrooms were nice and clean.. Our site #43 met our needs. It was close to the dog walk. We used it every day for our 5 small dogs. Appreciated the poo bags too. We will be back if we need a place to stay in Minneapolis.

Minneapolis Northwest KOA is the "best campground ever". It is very hard to pick the best campground ever when many "best ever" campgrounds exist in the KOA family of campgrounds. Minneapolis Northwest KOA is outstanding among the "best ever".

We were in a non electric tent site and when we reserved it said it was going to be close to the bathroom. I do not think there was a farther site than these. It was such a long walk to the bathrooms. The sites were so muddy and didn’t feel like they were clearly marked.

Grounds were awesome! Very well kept. Sites were a little unlevel but we made it work. Most likely from the recent significant rains they've had. Nice staff, too!

The campground was clean and well kept. But the spots were short and pretty close together. Bathrooms were wonderful! Very clean and spacious.

Arrived right around time of closing office, the lady took a long time and was not sure what she was doing. Bathrooms need renovating, old and dated.

The mosquitoes were horrendous due to a lot of standing water near the tent area at the back of the park. I love to camp but i dreaded spending time outside at this site, even with two different insect repellant on me. I will stay elsewhere the next time I'm in the area. It's too bad because the pool and bathrooms were top notch, though I wish the pool was open until at least 9 in the summer.

If it would not have poured down rain as we were setting up our tent, we would have had a very enjoyable stay. The facilities were perfect for a campground and we wish we could have enjoyed them more, but we were just quickly passing through.

Wonderful staff and very clean bathrooms. Our only complaint was every night someone was taking their dogs to the pet area and not cleaning up their poop. I'd put a camera up on the building pointed at the pet area. Put the sign right under the camera that says "pick up that poop". Was still an awesome stay and we hope to come back some day. Thank you for the wonderful stay.

Friendly. Very welcoming. Some was easy in and put. Grounds beautifully kept. Cute little playground and mini-put. Pool looked very nice ( weather didn't cooperate, so didn't get to swim) . Very nice stay. Store was stocked with important essentials .

The internet connection was absent, not even my phone could connect with the WiFi. At least 5 dogs were being "walked" without a leash.

As a first time KOAr it was disappointing. The campsite was right next to a “busy” road. The sites are on top of one another. And I have observed KOAs are more for RVrs than tents. The staff seemed friendly. The website was super basic so it would have been nice if they were more informative on the area. You have to drive to everything. No trails in walking distance.

For what it cost per night, it wasn’t worth the swamp we were in after the rain. Drainage is poor and sites should have at least gravel pads.

Incredibly noisy area of the city next to what appears to be a permanent construction activity. Miserable guide for backing up to my site. Too awful WiFi’s. My supposed grass covered slot was mud with no signs of any grass and very far from level at any point in the site.

The staff was great and the facilities were good. The problem is - even though this KOA states they have WI-FI - the truth is it doesn’t work. When asked they stated that it works on a “hit or miss” basis. We were there for 7 nights and it never worked. I think they purposely misled us. If I would have known the truth - I would have gone to a different campground. They are being dishonest.

We are surprised that this Campground still has the KOA franchise. The road to and from our campsite was muddy and full of potholes. We had a fhu site but most sites only had electricity and water or no utilities. However the workcampers were nice and friendly.

My son and I went there for the first time and my son loved it there. Now I can't remember the old lady that works there name but she is as sweet as can be . My son likes her too and call her the grandma of the camp ground
