We were very pleased with the Mess/Apache Junction KOA. Easy access, clean, and neat. The sites are close to each other, but not cramped. The staff was outstanding. If we are back in the area it would be our go to place to stop.

Very nice clean, well maintained campground. Great staff, friendly and helpful. The wifi is the pits!!! Very slow if you can get on at all even for just emails.

Very nice KOA with many sites...pull through, pull inside, tent, and cabins. Staff very helpful and attentive to the cleanliness and appearance of facilities & sites. Pool, activity room, and playground available.

We had an amazing time at your place. The place was clean the staff were very friendly and nice. The location was great. I will definitely be going back there again. The pool and hot tub were nice and warm too! Thanks for having us!

Was able to fit me in when I found out i had not confirmed a reservation from previous year. I have been a 25 year in a row camper at AJ KOA. Good staff good facilities.

I needed this koa location but otherwise won’t stay again. Potholes are all over every inch of paved road and unpaved. Recreation center locked. Gas firepit for gathering outside rec center not turned on when weather was perfect. There is a good Mexican restaurant across the street.

We have always enjoyed our stay over many years at this gem of an rv park. Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff is such an asset. All the facilities are clean and organized - - we highly recommend this KOA.

Great location and we had a nice spot. They has a good number of staff taking care of the grounds. My only negative comment would be that I wish staff would not allow young kids in the hit tub.

This KOA is OK. Let me start off by saying the office staff is very friendly! We didn't like the pull through even though it was a nice size you are facing your neighbor. Both doors are facing each other and when you sit outside your are next to your neighbor....no privacy. Water pressure was not good.

Not enough space to explain the bad experience here but in summary, the campground did not honor our site next to our friends that we had booked online and called to confirm. When spots opened up after we arrived, the front desk, staff refused to move us next to our friends, which ultimately ruined our weekend. The Wiifi doesn’t allow streaming and the water pressure is horrible.

The staff was wonderful, friendly & helpful but our campsite was dreadful. I got no sleep because of the noisy traffic all night & early morning hours. The campsite we were shoved in was so small we could not even spend time sitting outside because other trailers coming & going were right on top of us . I could not wait for departure.

We were attending a wedding in the area and decided to travel in our RV and sleep in our own sheets. From the check-in we were impressed with everything we experienced. We were led to into our site by a staff member who also help us spotted the position of our RV. It is a typical, well kept KOA camp ground, but I think the people who run this camp were exceptional. We had a mechanical issue that took longer to resolve, and meant we needed an additional night stay. Plus we were a bit late vacating the previous night spot. The staff were very accommodating and made us feel welcome

You have a huge corner that is empty and a very tiny dog park -it would be nice if you could triple the size of the dog run! You have the space and nearly everyone there had a dog!

No intervention from staff to control the noise and behavior of certain campers. Permanents campers with large dogs who are aggressive and out of control, causing him to escape from their property and try to attack other dogs. We almost witnessed an attack by them on another camper's dog who was tied up on his property and who was behaving well. Too low water pressure and very dusty campground.

This KOA is quite a bit East of Mesa. The place should be named Apache Junction/Mesa KOA. The employees were fantastic answering general questions about directions, allowing a service tech to come on property to fix our side view mirror. Well manicured sites as one employee drags a steel net over the spots to make them look perfect for the next person.

Stayed 10 nights. Only problem was a local motorcyclist who was driving around (likely outside teh fence) between 10 PM and 2 AM. Having a gate for visitors during non- office hours would ensure minimal problems within the campground.

3rd year we have stayed at apache junction KOA for the Innings fest. The facility is always clean and the staff deserves a reward for always being so friendly and happy!

The host went above and beyond helping us to back in our RV in the campground by instructing my husband on how to back it up. This was our first trip in our new RV.

Everything just as advertised, neat, clean and organized. The dog park was awesome. I am at 54 ft and it was easy to maneuver in this campground.

This koa is not to far from the highway, far enough to not hear the traffic at night, the customer service was incredible, above and beyond, Way better than most of the hotels in vegas, vegas resident since 86, I will definitely be staying again next time I go to mesa. I recommend this place to anyone that wants a nice friendly and quite place to camp overnight at, they have spaces for tents, rv hookups and camptrailer pull through. Pet friendly, and they also have cabins available, we stayed in one of the cabins, it had a set of bunk beds and a full size bed. air-conditioning, microwave, mini fridge and a tv plus free WiFi, honestly the best night sleep I have had in years
