It was a great stay. The park is clean, and the people are very helpful. They deserve a huge raise, while lowering the cost to stay, of course.

Overpriced for the amenities! Also, why do you close-off and clean the bathrooms at 10am when check out is at 11am? Rather rude and makes me want to find another campground!

The Wi-Fi did not work. When we complained we were told that “it was not good and that too many people were on it”. We continued to try morning and late at night and it never worked. I think we should get a refund. Thank you. George Belcher

Just what you would expect from a KOA. Although the WiFi signal was strong, the throughput was very bad. Fortunately, the cell coverage was very good. Sites are well marked and nicely sized.

We enjoyed staying in a cabin. The air conditioning kept the room comfortable. The bath house was close by for restrooms and showers. We would definitely stay here again when we are back in town!

Grounds were very clean and attention to detail and making their campers stay easier (easy access to a sink, trash cans everywhere, the numbers on the cabins, the many many hooks in the bathroom showers, all very important and needed when in there, microwave in store. Maybe have it somewhere that campers can have access to it longer since the store closes so early and the hour from 11:30 - 12:30.

The RV park was very well maintained, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Fire pits would be a nice addition based on time of year and fire warnings.

It was very nice and enjoyable stay. Great view and clean KOA facility. The rv space behind the k2 cabin-well the rv arrived about midnight and backed to within inches of the cabin roof and then the talking was quite loud. Perhaps those spaces behind each cabin could be open and unused for rvs.

We had a very enjoyable stay the campground is very clean. The only issue is barking dogs I understand people having animals and am not against them but sometimes it is overboard. The other issue we had was people stopping to let their dogs do their duty with the odor coming into our outfit. Even though they did clean up. We were right next to the road.

Really liked this KOA! First time we stayed here in a cabin. Warm and cozy! Did have to get use to walking to walking to restroom! Internet was very slow to connect if it did. We would stay here again!

We arrived just before the office closing time. Staff was welcoming and informative. Our site was clean and very nearly level. The view of the nearby mountains was a plus. Restrooms and showers were clean. There was a rather long line for the showers on the day of our departure, but that wouldn't stop us from staying there again.

I’ll be honest. We looked at the reviews 2 days before staying here and decided against staying because the reviews were all negative. We stayed on our third night in Apache Junction out of necessity. We found those reviews ALL WRONG. The bathroom was clean with hot, good pressure. Pool and hot tub were clean and enjoyable. Every person we had contact with was pleasant and helpful. Will return.

The park is well tended and clean. The Wi-Fi is essentially non-existent and there is no cable TV either, although there are channels by air that you can pick up. A lady in the office was rather rude to my husband regarding the ice machine which was unfortunate.

We needed a pull through site for 1 night and this KOA came through. We were met at the office by the night staff who answered my questions and guided us to our site in the dark. Very much appreciated! I quickly got set up and headed to the hot tub. But it had too many leaves piled in it to use so that was disappointing. Otherwise, great.

Might as well camp in your yard the camp sites for tents are so small and they are right on top of the next person no privacy at all and with all the rv s around they slam doors all night long. The cabins keep all there lights on that blare right into the tents and the people at the pool sit and watch. The playground is so outdated and the staff was incredibly rude. We will never camp there again!

We were very pleased with the Mess/Apache Junction KOA. Easy access, clean, and neat. The sites are close to each other, but not cramped. The staff was outstanding. If we are back in the area it would be our go to place to stop.

Very nice clean, well maintained campground. Great staff, friendly and helpful. The wifi is the pits!!! Very slow if you can get on at all even for just emails.

Very nice KOA with many sites...pull through, pull inside, tent, and cabins. Staff very helpful and attentive to the cleanliness and appearance of facilities & sites. Pool, activity room, and playground available.

Was able to fit me in when I found out i had not confirmed a reservation from previous year. I have been a 25 year in a row camper at AJ KOA. Good staff good facilities.

I needed this koa location but otherwise won’t stay again. Potholes are all over every inch of paved road and unpaved. Recreation center locked. Gas firepit for gathering outside rec center not turned on when weather was perfect. There is a good Mexican restaurant across the street.

We visited a friend who was staying at the campground. The location is in a quiet area of AJ. The campground was clean and well maintained. From the looks of it there are plenty of electrical hookups, as well as water and sewer. To be honest, I kind of forgot about KOA's despite them being popular in the 70's and 80's. But they literally have campgrounds everywhere in the U.S. and they all have the same clean, friendly status. We are out in the desert, so it will not be like your other campgrounds with tall, shady pines or oaks. It is still a good place to consider if you are looking for a place to camp. Almost forgot, they do have a swimming pool.

Everything just as advertised, neat, clean and organized. The dog park was awesome. I am at 54 ft and it was easy to maneuver in this campground.
