Reservations at the Mesa Apache Junction KOA fill up quickly for January, February, and March. One of the attractions is Spring Training. The crowds roar during one of Arizona’s top tourist destinations within the Greater Phoenix area - Spring Training. The MLB’s Cactus League hosts 15 different Major League Baseball teams from mid-February up to Opening Day in early April. All the parks have modern facilities and most feature outfield lawn seating.
The Kansas City Royals and Texas Rangers share a facility in Surprise; the Seattle Mariners and San Diego Padres play in Peoria; Glendale is home to the Los Angeles Dodgers and Chicago White Sox; the Cleveland Guardian and Cincinnati Reds play in Goodyear; Mesa hosts the Oakland A’s and Chicago Cubs; and the Arizona Diamondbacks, Colorado Rockies and San Francisco Giants all play in Scottsdale. The Milwaukee Brewers (Phoenix) and Los Angels Angels (Tempe) round out the 15-team roster.
