Our stay was a two night stop over for R&R on a trip from Indiana back to York, PA. The campground is well maintained. The sites were level and easy to get in and out of. The entire campground is on somewhat of a slope, but not to the extent it caused problems. Staff was great. Bathhouse is a little dated and "rustic" but kept quite clean. We enjoyed our travel break very much.

At first glance the campground appears like a no-frills "journey" style KOA, which was disapointing as it is so close to a major city. Happily, I found the bathrooms were much better condition than the overall campground appearance. My greatest disappointment was not being able to get more detailed information about getting into and around pittsburgh from the campground.

It was a nice little park to spend the night. The campsite was level, the campground clean, and the people nice at check-in. I would stay there again while traveling through the area.

We had a great introduction at the check in desk, the cabin was clean and stocked well and the whole grounds were well kept and fun! The social events were great and our kids had fun!

Quiet place. Nice pool and lake. Pad was not very level so we had to move to another site. Otherwise, a very nice place.

Everything was great except the comfort of the mattresses in the cabin. If I had known how thin and uncomfortable they were, I would have brought air mattresses with me.

Friendly staff, large pull thru site that allowed us to stay hooked up for the night since we were departing early the next morning. Pool area & bathrooms were clean.

It was awful. Customer service was rude. All you smelt was the septic tank from the bathroom. She tried to move us to primitive even though I paid for a hookup. Environment was unwelcoming. Will never be returning to this KOA

Stayed in a cabin w/o bathroom, very clean. Cabins are close to one another and very close (almost too close) to pool, playground, jump pad. Campground is on a hill, thus kids cannot ride bikes easily. Overall, nice campground and would stay again for a short weekend. 2 full days here is plenty.

Terrible campground, they let' drug heads in and it was a real challenge not calling the police everyday. They let trashy people in and it reflects on the KOA, roads in bad shape, washers and dryers were down. No one knows about the amenities at the park because they never advertised them. Everything was about money. The park is poorly miss managed. All complaints about noise fell on Def ears.

We had a wonderful stay at the Madison KOA! We stayed in one of the cabins without a bathroom. Luckily, it was a short walk to the bath house. My daughter loved the jump pad, playground and pool. It was a clean campground and everyone was friendly.

First time staying in one of the cabins and it was great. The cabin was comfortable and the campground had plenty to keep us and the kids entertained. I stayed here with family a lot back 12 15 years ago and it still had the same atmosphere it did back then that kept us there.

We use this campground when traveling through for overnight pull through. Very nice, friendly and accommodating staff. Camp store is full of any needs. Bathrooms are clean. We are going to make it our home base when visiting Pittsburgh next year.

We stayed in a basic cabin with bathroom. The cabin and bathroom were very clean. Beds were hard as a rock, but hey, we’re camping so we made the best of it. Pool is pretty small but the kids still had fun in it. The new jump pad is a flat inflatable one, definitely not as fun as the old one. Overall we did have a nice time and the staff was friendly and helpful.

My wife and I have stayed at the Madison KOA 5 times now over about 6 years. We will certainly go back. We just spent 7 nights there last week and loved it, as always.

The only issue is that there isn’t a good way for a handicapped person to get into the pool. There are only two ladders and no ramp.

Felt very unsafe. Most of the campground seemed to be permanent residents...so it felt like a seedy trailer park with people coming and going at all hours of the night. Won't be staying there again.

Entering our cabin we could smell chemicals. We opened the windows and turned the air conditioner on to help eliminate the smell. The mattresses were extremely thin so we were essentially sleeping on wood. It was a terrible night sleep. Very disappointing since it was our 1/2 way stop from our destination and we really needed sleep for the long drive the next day.

The worst KOA we ever stayed at. The sites are on a hillside and not level.The place is old and needs major renovations.There is an population of people who seen to live there full time and the campground is generally unsightly.I’m surprised that KOA has put their name on a property like this.Not a property I would stay at again or recommend to anyone.

This was our second visit. It was again a one night stop. The staff was friendly and pull thru sites are perfect for easy in and out. Perhaps it would be very helpful to post directions from the Highway. We remembered not to follow the GPS.

We stayed for a long weekend while visiting family in Pitt & a few of the attractions nearby (Falling Water, Ohiopyle State Park). Loved this campground! It was easy to navigate & park our travel trailer (very little leveling off required). The campground is clean & well-maintained, + your staff was super friendly. We didn't partake but appreciate that you offered an ice cream social Fri night.

Our family had a wonderful time. The grandchildren enjoyed the pool, playground and especially the treasure hunt! We always find the staff to be extremely accommodating, helpful, and pleasant.

The hostess was very accommodating and professional. Our site was level and easy in/out, and the KOA was busy. For a “Journey”, there appeared to be more seasonal campers than those passing thru.

Great RV camping experience. Was able to experience this Campground in early - mid-march when most campgrounds are closed. The campsites are well-maintained. Clean and large laundry area. Camp store stocked with the basics. Friendly and accommodating staff. Only negative was the pothole strewn driveway - needs some major upgrade.

Great find, some comments refer the site as being inclined but the inclines are not bad at all and very picturesque. Vey clean canpground!

We had a 2 nights stay with our 45' Motorcoach and tow. Quiet location. Easy off and onto I-70. Our site was pretty level as it is located on a slight slope. The grassy area on our site #7 was sufficient. It also had a slope down to our neighboring RV site. Packed gravel site, picnic table and fire ring. Road going into and out of the park itself are a bit rough. Waltz Road was fine. The only KOA sign was at the entrance to the campground. Staff was extremely friendly and their fire wood was excellent! Enjoyed our stay! Had dinner at Rodney's Restaurant in Irwin. Really Good Food and Service.
