General Campground Information

It's the little things at Madison/Pittsburgh KOA

  • Store Hours

  • During the winter times our staff is limited. Store hours are 12am-5pm unless weather is determined to be harsh. But we are only a call away. The after-hours number is posted at the Lodge to contact us. 
  • During the spring, summer, and fall, our store is open 10am-6pm, but again, just call us if you need us and the store is closed. 

  • Lodge hours
    • Our lodge has a timed lock. All campers are assigned a code for entry. We provide that when you check in. If you check in late and our store is closed, just give us a call on the after-hours phone and we will provide it to you. 

  • Check-in and Check-out times
    • Our check in time for RV or a tent site is 2pm, Cabin check-in time is 3pm. If you plan to arrive after 4pm for a cabin, please call us on the after hours number to make arrangements to get your key. You must provide ID and the card used to book the site.

  • Firewood Policy
    • We sell firewood at the camp store. Please do not bring firewood into campground from other sources. You must take unused firewood with you, or speak to a maintenance person about disposing of it for you. 

  • Pool Hours
    • Currently, our pool is closed for the winter. 
    • From Labor Day to Memorial Day our pool is open. Pool hours are typically 10am to dusk. However, pool may be closed for maintenance, or due to weather, at any time. 
    • We close pool if lightening is within 10 miles and we do not open until it has passed and lightening is moving away from camp and at least 11 miles or further for 10 minutes. You can contact our store or ask any staff in the park for updates. 

  • Visitor Policy
    • All visitors to any site must check in with front desk and pay a visitor's pass fee. 
    • No food delivery vehicles may enter the park. If you wish to have food delivered, please plan to meet at the Lodge. 
    • Should you need work on your RV, please let the office know if you will have a mechanic enter property. Mechanics are required to follow all speed limits and rules while on property. 

  • Quiet Hours
    • We adhere to a 8am-10pm fun time, 10pm-8am quiet time. If you are disturbed by another camper, please contact our after-hours number and our security or other staff would be happy to assist.

  • Washing vehicles or RV
    • This action is restricted. No camper may use campground water to wash personal vehicles at any time.

    Store Hours/Lodge Hours

    Our Kampstore is open based on the season. Our Lodge is open 24 hours for access to laundry, or just kick back and watch a game on our large screen TV. Lodge access is granted via a security code that is issued upon request at check-in. Code changes often to ensure our guests feel safe and secure after hours.

    Kampstore Hours

    Our fall, winter and spring hours vary. Please be sure to check for signage at the Lodge for information. If the store is closed, we are only a call away. Please call the number posted at the lodge to get assistance.

    Lodge & Laundry Room Hours

    Open 24/7 with access code. Code changes monthly for security purposes.

    Pet Policy and Fee

    Good behavior is required. Dogs of any breed that are hostile or aggressive will be asked to leave the campground, along with their owners. Bring the leash. Dogs must be kept on leashes no longer than 6 feet when outside their owners' vehicles or rental units. Do not leave a tethered dog, or a dog within your portable fencing, unattended at any time!

    Remember manners. Constant barking bothers other campers. If your pet is too vocal, you'll need to find other accommodations.

    Pets are restricted from Cabins, tent sites, and all interior buildings of the KOA.
    If you make a reservation and we find that you have failed to follow our no-pet rule, you will be charged a $250 pet fee.

    You may have up to 2 pets per site for free. Pets must use the dog park. Owners must pick up after their pets at all times, in the dog park or while walking. Please keep pets off other campers' sites.

    Seasonal Cabin Closures

    Our cabins are closed for the cold months from October to mid-end of March. Stay tuned for exact opening date!

    Glow-in-the-dark Basketball

    Can be found at the front desk for a $10 deposit. You must leave a valid ID. Return after your fun, with the ball, for your money, and ID, back :)

    Pool Hours

    Our saltwater pool is open from Memorial Day weekend through mid-September every year.
    The daily hours are 10am-sunset.
    Weather may effect pool hours.
    Rain of any kind could result in a closure of the pool, and it may or may not reopen.

    Bathhouse ft. Free Showers Open 24/7

    Our clean bathhouse is open 24/7 for your convenience & usage. Please note that closures for bathroom cleaning are posted on the doors. We try to keep to these hours on a daily basis!
