Our first time there we enjoyed it the weather was nice peaceful loved the trailer we walked to downtown twice from the trail. Thank you so much hopefully next year will come back to finish sight seeing…

From the time we arrived until the time we left the staff was very helpful, and cheerful. The park was so well maintained and had ongoing improvements being made. Will highly recommend your park to anyone heading your directions. Thank you for everything Pam.

The first thing about this KOA is the customer service is beyond amazing. We received so many waves and hello’s the whole time we were there that each day felt like we just arrived! The other thing is the campground is fantastic. This journey campground surpassed some holiday campgrounds we have stayed at in the past. The campground is well maintained and we will be back!

A fantastic KOA. Sites were well maintain and level an our patio site perfect. The store was well stocked including the laundry facilities. Staff was an amazing with escorts to your site and tickets available to Mackinac Island and will call a shuttle to pick you up at the campground to take you to the ferry terminal and back. Garage pickup at your site, always a plus in my book. Excellent staff

Just a fantastic campground! The management and staff are super friendly and eager to help! You can tell they love what they do. Site was spacious and well maintained too. Beautiful grounds and nature trail. Only a 4 minute drive to downtown (ferry, shops, etc). Now one of our favorite campgrounds!

We had a wonderful time and so very glad we chose this KOA for our stay to the city and island. The staff are so polite and helpful and the bathrooms/showers/laundry were all clean and spot on. Thanks!

Very nice KOA! The staff were super friendly and helpful. Well cared for place- they were pouring new concrete patios so upgrading was impressive to see- convenient to all the sights of the U.P. We will definitely stay here again if visiting this area.

We are from Florida and stayed at this Mackinaw KOA. Not a lot of landscaping but it had a nice office, a store, a puppy park and more. There was a hiking trail that lead to a bike path that led to the shopping area for the Ferry crossing to Mackinac Island. The KOA was clean and welcoming and the people were friendly and helpful and they stayed in touch with you through texts.

Excellent! Very friendly and helpful staff! Appreciated the text reminders they sent. Loved that we were able to purchase tickets for Mackinac Island and be picked up from the campground. Excellent stay!

This was our first stay at a campground in several years. Everyone was so nice and helpful. We give our stay a 10. The atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable. The sites were easy to pull into and the dog area was very helpful. Thank you so much.

We we’re leaving and when we hooked up our Jeep to tow it we discovered our light weren’t working on the Jeep! We checked the fuses and found a bad one the store didn’t have any to purchase but one of the workers saw we had a problem and gave us the fuses we need! Her name was Jocelyn! She went above and beyond!

I didn’t like the shower set up. I was in the shower and someone kept trying to open the door. When I came out I was face to face with a man. It was very uncomfortable. The people that worked there were very nice. The campground was very dusty.

We stayed four nights in our Class C RV and it was the perfect spot for us. Close enough to I-75 so we could go exploring but minimal to no road noise. Not just clean, this koa was immaculate! Super friendly staff. We would stay here again!

We stopped in for an overnight on our way to WI. Everyone was friendly and helpful! The campground was quiet, bathrooms very clean and an easy in & out! We only wish we had more time to stay and explore the Island! The area surrounding area was beautiful and I have already mentioned it to my son as a future Destination Trip! : )

we enjoyed our 2 day stay and wished we’d brought our bikes. It’s great that the nature trail connects to the north West State Trail . We walked into Mackinaw City with our dogs without worrying about traffic. Staff were very helpful and friendly, grounds were well-kept

Our site was supposed to be pull through but was not. Impossible to make the corner and pull in as directed on the map. If the office would have been opened we would have requested one of the other many available sites in our category. This site was so close to our neighbors that they could not sit at their fire with our truck being parked on our site.

This is our 4th stay and we will definitely be coming back! The sites are large, the park is quiet, staff is friendly & helpful, very clean! Just minutes away from Mackinaw City, it's a straight shot to the downtown. If you're going to the island, Shepler's shuttle will pick you up at the park. Highly recommend!!

Our 4th time here. Wonderful place. Nolan and Pam go way above and beyond. They treat us like family. The camp itself is stellar. Amazingly clean and well kept. Awesome internet and cable. Our home in the “up north” for many years to come.

WE REALLY ENJOYED OUR STAY. BEAUTIFUL FALL COLORS MID- OCTOBER. WE WALKED TO MACKINAW CITY TAKING THE TRAIL TO TOWN. AFTER A LONG WALK OUR FIREWOOD WAS DELIVERED TO OUR SITE. THE STAFF IS FRIENDLY AND ACCOMODATING. THE BATHROOMS AND SHOWERS ARE CLEAN. I WILL BE USING THIS KOA AGAIN NEXT YEAR!!!!

Friendly staff. Quiet and peaceful environment. There's a footpath that leads to a paved trail to that leads to town. It's a very pleasant twenty-minute walk to the town center.

Excellent place, excellent staff! The cabin we stayed in was clean and well cared for and the mattresses were thick and comfortable. Bathrooms, showers, the grounds, everything was well maintained and clean. This place is pet friendly so we took our two small dogs with us as well. The best part was we brought our bicycles to go to Mackinac Island and we were able to just ride our bikes from the campground to the ferry. There is a great bike trail just outside of the campground. We had plenty of space to park at the cabin and leave our vehicle during the day while we were on the island. So whether you plan to go to the island or if you just want to visit Mackinac City, this is an excellent place to stay.

Great place to camp or glamp if need be. Perfect location for those wanting a base to be at then go visit from there. Super clean place and the staff is top knotch

Every employee is super nice! The property is amazing and honestly it should be considered a Holiday KOA. The wifi was great and easy access to downtown via bike. Will be back.
