This KOA is a hidden gem. The cabin was perfect. I liked that the AC was also a heater. The fire pit had such a cool design, and allowed adequate airflow. Restrooms were immaculate and the showers had strong water pressure. Love that there is a trail that connects to the bike path; made getting to the ferry simple. No park fee. Will definitely be back. Highly recommend. This is now my fave KOA.

This KOA is one of my favorites in Michigan! It has the up north feel, is not super big, close to Mackinaw City and the paved walking/biking trail is beautiful and a huge bonus. The staff is friendly and very accommodating! I give it 5 out of 5 stars!!!

By far the cleanest KOA we’ve stayed at! People running this place are the nicest and always willing to help. My only issue and the only reason it’s not a 5 star, the store closes early. We will definitely stay here again but now that we know the store closes early, we’ll plan accordingly.

Lovely stay! Easy check-in, friendly staff, clean cabin, and great access to all of Mackinac City. Outside road traffic next to 3 front cabins can be loud, but only during peak times. Definitely recommend this place!

Our stay was short but sweet and we did not do much as it was October and there were no activities available during that time. The bathrooms were clean and the cabin was perfect and clean and smelled good. The firewood I purchased ahead of time was already at my cabin upon my arrival and it was an overall pleasant experience.

Lovely campground and attentive hosts. We enjoyed our two night stay and recommend this clean, attractive KOA. We stayed in a cabin and I had to chuckle: every time I thought “I need a hook”, there it was in a logical place. So many nice touches! Thank you.

We stay twice a year every year. Always very clean. Friendly and helpful camp personnel. Perfect location to explore from. Can’t say enough good about how nice it is there. Pool, dog park, playground. Cabins are clean and comfortable. Nice walking trail that you can take all the way to town. Nice sized spaces for your RV. The personnel are the best. You won’t regret staying there

We stayed in cabin 9. While it was tiny, we made it work. Everything from the pool, bathrooms, cabin, and grounds were clean! The staff was beyond nice and we had fun trying to dunk the manager in the dunk tank. Wonderful vacation and we'll definitely come back but in a bigger cabin with our little dog!

This campground was very quiet and very well taken care of around all the different facilities. I had a few minor issues in my cabin and they took care of them immediately. All staff were super friendly and we would 100% stay here again.

We had a great 3 night stay in one of the cabins! Every staff member was so kind and helpful, especially Mark! He stopped by frequently to check on us and made sure we had everything we needed. The bathrooms were always so clean and check in was a breeze. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to explore the area around Mackinaw City.

We were in cabin 1. WAY toooo close to next cabin. They allowed 6 poeple in a small cabin???? With a huge barking dog!! We were very disappointed. Because the cabin only holds so many. These poeple had guest sleeping in their Small car???? The staff were great. Washrooms were great. But better job controlling sites. :((. Do NOT pick cabin 1. Way toooooo close to next one. :((

We had such an enjoyable stay that we have already booked another trip here for next month(: This KOA was very clean and they take pride in making sure all of their campers are happy and taken care of. Everything was clean and well maintained, took advantage of the showers and the dish cleaning sink as well as kids having ample time in the pool and playground. Staff was incredibly friendly and shuttling to the island ferry couldn't have been easier. Would recommend again!

Have stayed here many times since I was a kid and now I get to share the same experiences with my daughter. We had an absolute blast! This was my first time staying in one of KOAs cabins and it was perfect! The staff was super friendly and helpful the whole time. The pool was great and offering shuttles to the ferrys was very helpful. We will be back!

I wish I had known the cabin was beside a busy road. Even with the ac fan on- it was like I was sleeping on the side of a busy road. Every car could be heard all night. Then early in the morning, then very early in the morning trucks starting super early in the morning their loud beeping. Definitely would need ear plugs. It's not a place for "quite" at least on the cabin side beside the road.

Very nice facilities. Appreciated strict pool times. Mattresses in cabin could be way better but next time we will just bring a mattress pad. Was able to sleep without noise waking us up. Appreciated the dog friendly attitude and the helpfulness of staff. You can tell everyone loves being there
