Cabin was very clean. Showers were nice. Pool was lovely. Our recommendation would be to have a fan in the cabin like other koa’s as well as have a keurig in the office for people to buy a coffee. That was definitely missing.

Excellent Campground. All staff members are extremely friendly, always waving hello and smiling. Bathrooms are VERY clean! I will forever be going to this campground on our vacations to Mackinaw City.

We stayed at the Mackinaw City KOA due to it's proximity to the Headlands International Dark Sky Park. Staff was welcoming, restrooms were clean, store was cute and well staged, and the new playground was AWESOME! Our kid had a great time playing on the new structure. Haven't tried the pool yet but it looked clean and people appeared to have fun swimming.

Loved every minute of it. It’s always quiet, clean and a joy to interact with the staff. Been coming here since my daughter was 9, she’s 30 now. Highly recommend. It’s a great campground

We had a wonderful stay. The people at the koa were very friendly and helpful. We were impressed with the cleanliness. The path through the woods, connecting with the bike trail was really great. We used it daily. Location is very good for touring the area.

The cabin with the full bath was wonderful. For people who are not really campers this was perfect. We loved it. The free shuttle to the ferry was so easy. The owners are just a text away. The owners are so nice, wonderful people. Great place to stay!

The water was out while there for two nights, so naturally not showering was not ideal, but not in your control we understand. Pool didn’t feel heated. So nice to have the heater, charcoal grill, and water spout at our site. Suggestion- coffee and/or hot water available in morning, especially when something like water available is an issue or pops up. Clean clean Cabin

Since the new owner change a few years back it’s gone down hill. I see a lot of new changes that are amazing. But I still run into confusion when booking and checking in. Three years in a row I was under our deceased. Another year they had me purchase two cabins under my married name and maiden name. This past weekend with the water issue. And charging us at check in after I already paid in full

Cabin nice and clean and close to restroom facilities. Loved the pool. We were from NC and after a day on your feet it felt good to swim and stretch.

Definitely one of the best KOAs we've stayed at. Staff are all smiles and so helpful. They will make your reservation for the ferry ride for you and call for the shuttle. Property is well maintained and building are clean.

Lilac festival and walking around the island, had a book signing at the bookstore. Food was excellent eating beside a restaurant next to our boat that brought us across from St. Ignasi.

We loved the camp site. Everyone was awesome. The facilities were great and clean. This koa is on the top of my list for a return trip in the future.
