We have never stayed at a KOA with so many rules, restrictions, micro management, and constant surveillance with staff riding around the park in golf carts checking on "things." The bathrooms were uncomfortable and stuffy and the co-ed showers were unpleasant. The first shower I tried to use had no pressure at all and was reported to someone in the office but they seemed not to care.

We always enjoy our stay at this campground. Have stayed every summer for the last four years. The facility has excellent owners who take pride in the service they provide.

We brought our 2 grandsons, ages 7 & 10. They loved it and so did we. One thing is maybe cut grass, we had lot 101, grass sure could use some attention.

Great place. Would definitely stay again if we are ever in the area again. The office was very helpful and accommodating. Laundry and restrooms very clean and well kept.

Clean campground where all employees are helpful and friendly. Nice shaded spots. Bathrooms are well kept and clean. One of my favorite KOA’s.

The staff was amazing any questions they helped us out. Whenever we ordered wood or ice it was delivered right to our site.

Very nice pool. We had a patio site and I would highly recommend. Shepler's ferry does pick folks up right from in front of the office. If you prefer to drive, there is free parking right by the main road and a speedy transport to the dock. Very pleased with the trip to Mackinaw and ease of use for everything.

We had a wonderful stay. While we celebrated 25 years of marriage. We swam in the very clean pool used to shower facilities, which were very good. We had a patio site and a beautiful white. Enjoy the fire. Thank you so much. Carol was great when we signed in.

Very clean, quiet at night, love that you offer recycling, pool was enjoyed by kiddos. Wish we had stayed longer!

Wonderful place. It is quiet and very maintained. The people in the office are helpful and very friendly. If we are ever in this area again would definitely want to stay here.

The sites are pretty small and not at all flat. If I were to come again I would request the sites on the cement pads. Bathrooms are also tiny and hot because of their size. Aside from this, the campground was well maintained and it was convenient to get a shuttle over to Mackinac Island.

The staff is very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The facility is far above the norm for a Holiday level facility, everything around the grounds is in excellent if not brand new condition, the sites are large, and the location could not be much more convenient to the city and ferry access. We will return to the area because of our experience here, if not for the city itself.

I stay in a cabin and love it. This KOA is just the right size and so close to many amazing Michigan, top of the MIT, places to explore. This KOA is clean and recently started a recycle program for campers! The staff is real friendly to all campers.

Our first site was great, but we had to move during our stay. The second site was not as level and we had trouble getting a starlink signal so my wife could work.

Definitely one of the best KOAs we've stayed at. Staff are all smiles and so helpful. They will make your reservation for the ferry ride for you and call for the shuttle. Property is well maintained and building are clean.

Lilac festival and walking around the island, had a book signing at the bookstore. Food was excellent eating beside a restaurant next to our boat that brought us across from St. Ignasi.

We loved the camp site. Everyone was awesome. The facilities were great and clean. This koa is on the top of my list for a return trip in the future.
