I really liked the location. The staff is very friendly. Unfortunately while we were there it rained every day with wind.We ended up leaving 2 days early. I’d be selective on which site I stayed. Closing in on fall we were under a very large oak tree, the amount of acorns and debris raining on the coach was astounding and required a trip to the roof to clean off before leaving.

First time ever at a KOA and was very pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness and overall respect of staff. Everything we needed was already there and assistance was offered for anything else we may have needed during our stay. It was a very pleasurable experience at the Macinaw City KOA (Journey)

From check in to leaving the office staff was absolutely fantastic! They were extremely friendly and very welcoming! Provided great recommendations for our stay. Loved the nightly text reminders before the office closed. A very nice touch. One of, if not the best KOA we’ve stayed at in our 5 years of RV travel. Site was level and the park free WiFi great for streaming. A very uncommon treat!

We enjoyed the clean friendly campground. It was our first time in this area, and we found that the location of the campground was perfect. It was close to all the happenings, yet far enough away to keep us relaxed and the area quiet. Your staff was very diligent in keeping everything clean and they were very helpful.

It was our first time camping here at this KOA and had a great time. Awesome staff and amenities. The location was very convenient to get to other sights to visit in the Mackina city area. Definitely planning to come back someday.

This was one of the nicest and friendliest KOAs we have stayed in. We’re arriving late (but they were open till 8) and they emailed instructions then actually called to make sure we received them. also emails following days in case we needed ice, wood etc before they closed. Clean, well kept. Would definitely stay again.

Nice campground for a Journey. Lots of amenities and the shuttle for the ferry will pick you up at the camp. They also sell tickets there.

Easy to park pull-thru site with full hookups. Good facilities. Good access to Mackinaw City and Mackinac Island, including discounted ferry tickets and free shuttle. Strong wifi signal - didn't need to set up my Star Link! Friendly employees!

We have been back now for 3 years for Labor day. We love the fact that the sites are spacious I personally love the patio sites that has a grill the park itself is quiet, very clean Restrooms/showers. garbage picked up daily at your sites. it has a dog park. I plan on returning next year again.

Really nice park with a great nature walk that leads you to a paved walk into Mackinaw City. The people at the park are so helpful with all activities and things to see around the area. Great stay.

We loved it. Our cabin was bigger than expected and restrooms/showers were very clean. Friendly staff. Our only suggestion was that a bit of lighting is needed at the bottom of incline leading to the restroom. We were in cabin 10 and it's very dark from that approach.

The woman who checked us in Sept 1 @ 5:30PM was very courteous & friendly; which was great after a long day on the road. Our cabin was amazing and the bathroom/ showers were impeccably clean. All the staff and campers were so friendly it made for a wonderful stay. We also met a sweet woman and her golden retriever Theo (a therapy dog in training), he was so sweet! Definitely would return here.

Well maintained and great location. We stayed in the deluxe cabin which was very clean. Loved the porch swing on the one rainy morning. I hope to return again soon.

We had a wonderful time at the Mackinaw City KOA! We absolutely loved our stay! Our cabin was so clean and cozy, and the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. The location couldn't have been better—just a quick stroll to all the adorable shops and the beautiful bridge. Every moment of our time there was wonderful!

The park was clean, the people were nice. Some of the rules were new for our family such as nothing on the trees for drying bathing suits and towels and no tents on the rv sites

We stayed for one night but we were very impressed with the entire facility. Great bathrooms and showers super location and easy to find. I can see why it’s always busy.

Awesome campground with a friendly helpful staff. Camp sites are level and very clean. Easy access and close to Mackinaw city and the bridge. They have a heated pool and a laundry facility which is larger than most. Definitely a place to stay.

This was our very first time staying in a KOA campground and we were very pleased. We love that the campground had a dog park area and nature trails. We will be back!

Great place to camp or glamp if need be. Perfect location for those wanting a base to be at then go visit from there. Super clean place and the staff is top knotch

Every employee is super nice! The property is amazing and honestly it should be considered a Holiday KOA. The wifi was great and easy access to downtown via bike. Will be back.

We stayed at the KOA for a week. Big rig Friendly. They offer free shuttles to the ferry and discounted tickets for the ferry and lumberjack show. Nice and quiet. Staff was friendly.
