Loved our stay except for a unruly parent that used vulgar language and made inappropriate gestures to our 11 year old. However, the staff did a wonderful job trying to address this. Wished quiet hours were at 10pm instead of 11.

Very clean & modern facilities Friendly & hardworking staff- (like that they took us to our site) Fire pits & site clean Store had many products Only dislike was the 11pm quiet time. Would like to see 10 pm Concrete slabs were nicely done Happy the shuttle to the island came to the campground Overall, we will be back. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

We loved Mackinaw City KOA! The bike trail to town and the shuttle to the ferry were so convenient. Easy on and off the interstate. Big rig friendly. Every staff member we spoke to was friendly and so helpful. Sites are level and a great size. We have stayed at 8 KOAs during our cross country trip and this was hands down the best. Already planning to come back!

The staff and the services were all great. The only thing I would improve is the sites surface. It was dirt and sand. Next time I would be prepared with a small mat for outside. Service was outstanding here! We left something at the site and the offered to mail it to our home. Made us feel very welcome!

Average campground. Nothing fancy, not worth premium price. Only real complaints were levelness of site and location of hookups, especially sewer, was not convenient. I wound up not hooking up sewer and used dump station upon exiting due to lengthy run at site. Overall clean and well maintained, staff was friendly. Very convenient to bridge if heading north.

Had one of the full service pull through patio sites. Really nice site. Staff is great and very helpful. Asked if I could clean the bugs off the nose after getting there and they said OK, just the nose. Nice to get them off. WIFI is very good. No dropping. Would stay again.

We’ve stayed at this campground several times over the years. The staff are friendly and the location is perfect. The only issue we had this stay was we couldn’t run our electric hot water heater and a/c, it kept tripping the breaker. We addressed it with the staff but there was nothing they could do during our stay. The electrical unit/breaker will need to be replaced.

Staff was nice, cabin was nice but would’ve been nice to have an AC unit inside, the fan didn’t cool down the cabin very well. There’s very limited outlets inside the cabin and we couldn’t get the tv to play a movie over the Wi-Fi very long or it disconnected. We will be back in the future, thank you!

We loved the location of the campground. However if we stay again we would never want to be put in the campsites that are all sand and dirt.

We had a great time at the campground. The staff was great and the site was clean. We will be looking at renting at site at one of the other KOA campgrounds in the future.

Prompt service on arrival. Taken directly to our site. Cable only received 22 very snowy channels. No cell phone reception which was a surprise. Sites close together. Site not at all level. Could be improved.

Cabin was very clean. Showers were nice. Pool was lovely. Our recommendation would be to have a fan in the cabin like other koa’s as well as have a keurig in the office for people to buy a coffee. That was definitely missing.

Excellent Campground. All staff members are extremely friendly, always waving hello and smiling. Bathrooms are VERY clean! I will forever be going to this campground on our vacations to Mackinaw City.

We were happy to get in for 2 nights at short note. Loved the chance to get tickets to the Mackinac Island ferry at the campground and pick up a shuttle there. Would have liked a better path to the restroom.. not so much sand and gravel.

It was a nice time, the staff are very friendly and helpful. Someone showed us exactly where our site was and offered some pointers for getting over to the island from the camp. It’s in a beautiful location to get into the city but far enough out that there’s minimal traffic noise from the highway. The bathrooms and showers were clean and up kept. We enjoyed our stay.

My wife and I have stayed the the Mackinaw City KOA several times over the past 30 years and have never been disappointed, this time was no exception. All the staff we encountered were friendly and accommodating and they keep the facilities and grounds clean, good job!! Not that one goes to a campground for the WI-FI but this KOA's was top notch and should be the gold standard for others.

We stayed in the campground- we arrived late and it was quick and easy to get our site and map. Easy pull through sites, bathhouse was very clean and well lit! Will be back!

Since I have been married and had children, I wanted to take my family camping, and we had a great time. I just hope they will remember going, I am sure they will ^^

I went here during the summer and it was great, the workers are very friendly and always trying to help. The bike path is very fun to ride on. The only problem I have is they don't want you to put anything up and I put up my portable hammock, and they said to take it down .
