Heather was exceptional! She agreed to stay late if we didn’t get there before closing to sell us ice! The only negative is there were a ton of mosquitoes! Sugg st you have in spray prior to exiting your coach! Otherwise very nice.

Had an enjoyable time in the cabin. We have stopped here several times coming and going. Did miss the porch swing but new furniture also nice to relax in. Would be nice to have a screen door. Had one at Raton NM KOA and made it nice to have fresh air coming in plus windows swung out to get a breeze.

Our experience was definitely not a good one! The bathrooms were horrible, trash everywhere. The grounds are severely neglected, trash at nearly every site, dead plants and trees and just sadly let go. The campground was empty yet we were assigned in the tent spot that shared space with the dumpsters and another site with full sun, uneven and completely dead. We will not recommend Lubbock KOA.

Staff very helpful, restrooms clean. General comment on all KOAs (10 different ones) we stayed at on this last trip . . . so many extended stay folks. People seem to be living at the KOA instead of camping etc. All but two KOAs are on very busy roads and or hwy, so if you are a tent or travel trailer bring something to “block” the sound.

We have a mixed review. The distance from TTU is great. The amenities are great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is right against a major highway and near train tracks. The noise is the biggest nuisance. We will consider staying again knowing the noise is significant.

We loved the cabin. It was exactly what we hoped it would be. Just two suggestions. A mat in front of the shower to catch water and have somewhere not slippery to step out on and maybe a stick light in the bottom bunk so I could read. Otherwise a super place to stay and we will use again.

Very nice. The staff was also very friendly. I will recommend this KOA to my RV friends. We will be on the road in November heading north. If we go that direction, we will stay there again.

We had a mishap with our truck, the staff at the site were more than willing to help as we worked through the problem. Just the fact that someone would go above and beyond will make me continue to come back. Thank you for being there

This is a very quiet, clean campground with large spaces. It’s close to everything yet far enough away from town that you feel like you’re actually camping.

Staff was friendly and helpful. This is an older park. The roads and sites are gravel. So, muddy when it rains. No grass in dog park and muddy. Indoor pool and hot tub was nice but very humid. Bathrooms/plumbing are older. Separate shower stalls were appreciated. This KOA is OK for just an overnight stay. Pull thru sites barely accommodate tow vehicle and RV.

Owner did call us to make sure we were coming and to let us know where our after hours check-in would be. Site was level. Road noise- loud. Dump station-BAD pull up angle, requires longer hose, vehicle sitting in depression creates low flow when dumping, depression holds water so standing in 3" when trying to dump(unsanitary).Broke hose from over-extinction (owner sold hose at reduced cost)

Clean and comfortable cabin . Felt safe during big night-time storm. Staff very helpful and friendly. We liked the indoor bathroom in our deluxe cabin. Perfect for us and furbaby.

Mostly great. Nice, clean and neat. Only one ding for the dump station situation. The location of the DS is terrible and it had rained the night we were there so the curbed in area where the sewer connection is was full of water. We had to finagle it to make it drain so we could use it. Gross. We had gloves so it was doable but still gross.

Both cable and wifi only worked half the 5 days I stayed at the koa. With very little grass the RV park is always dusty.

It’s a great KOA! We stay there every year on our way back home from Colorado. The staff is always friendly and accommodating! The sites are level and the campground very clean!

We felt so welcomed and at home here! The staff and other guests were so friendly. This campground is older, but very clean, it has a homey feel, cats and chickens roaming around. I loved the rooster! There is free coffee in the office, often goodies as well. The heated pool and hot tub were amazing! The bathroom and showers are clean. The laundry room takes your credit card! No scrounging for quarters! The campground was pretty quiet, even with some train and road noise. Would love to come back !

We rented the tent spot so we can sleep in our SUV and the spot was perfect. Hot tub and pool area comfortable and inviting. Owner and her help were so fun to talk to over coffee. Whole park safe, quiet, beautiful and easy in and out. Great job!

Great little no frills campground! Good value. We couldn't figure out online booking, so we just gave them a call. The employee was pleasant and helpful. We would definitely stay again. We stayed in one of the two cabins. They are small and staff informed us of this in advance. We were provided a key at the office/small store which operated a deadbolt. Two windows inside, one of which was able to be opened. The floors were dirty unfortunately, so we did some cleaning ourselves. The bed was awful. We didn't sleep well because the "mattress", which would probably pass for a mattress pad, was about 4" thick and plastic with nothing under it. If we stay again, we'll just bring something else rather than bedding only. There was a TV in the cabin which was nice and the a/c, oil heater kept us comfortable. The campground is on the small side but well kept. Even with a full camp, they did a good job of keeping it clean. All gravel. I think there were two dumpsters. Staying in a cabin really helped to keep the traffic noise down. If youre bringing pets, please be aware the "dog park" is very small.. probably 150 square feet. We took advantage of local parks. There were 3 showers and four bathroom stalls in the ladies room. Water was hot. We checked out the pool and it was nice. Everything worked and the space was clean and inviting. Cute decor. Liked that the pool wasn't rectangular and got wider at the deep end. It's small but still nice with a 6 ft depth. There was also a nice medium sized playground with a fair amount of equipment for guests enjoyment.
