We stay here every time we come to Lubbock if they are not full. We love the way that it is set up for the kids and we feel safe about letting them out to play outside. They are friendly.

I have no complaints with the KOA. I had an issue where an guy from a neighboring campsite came and woke us up at midnight because I accidentally pulled to far through my campsite. I didn't bother reporting it to anyone, since it was my fault, but other than that my stay was great.

unfortunately it had snowed the day before. it was muddy. they could use more gravel. also the wifi kept fading out. otherwise it was fine.

Great clean and affordable stay that was quiet and peaceful. The bathroom toilets could be replaced with bigger toilets.

to use the the dump station we would have to unhook and then turn the rig around. We asked if they had another dump station. She said just pull into any full hookup site and dump. Then owner said NO, they didn't pay for full hookups so they have to use the dump station. Had to unhook, make a tight U turn, dump and make another U turn. Needed an ext dump hose. Not what we came to expect from KOAs

I’d say this KOA could use a little work. It served the purpose of a one night stop, but was pretty rough as far as dog Park area, camp areas. Trains and Highway are nearby. FYI.

People running a place are amazing. I had a small leak in my camper and they brought me some silicone to fix it. They were super nice.

Wouldn’t come back. KOA sign along the road is all but invisible until you drive by and have to turnaround. Toilet stalls are small with the toilet being very low. Cable TV channel guide is completely useless. Dump station is difficult to got to because of how it is situated. No water at dump station to rinse hoses. Staff only so-so when it comes to friendliness. My water hookup leaked.

Clean facilities, friendly and accommodating staff. I enjoyed the Kabin, there were a lot of RV's there as well (quiet and friendly neighbors). The hot tub was nice. Found nothing to dislike.

The mattress was upside down so if you were not of able body you might have slept on a very uncomfortable mattress, or chosen to sleep on the bunk bed. Once I flipped it over it was much more cozy to sleep upon. I was glad to see it covered 100% in a mattress protector. Great heat to keep you warm in the winter. Friendly staff and a cozy office cat to greet you and send you off.

Due to the cold weather we didn't have water at our site. The staff brought a garden hose so we could fill the fresh water tank from another site. The roads are gravel, sites fairly level, dog park is dirt but fenced with waste bags available. Close to highway 84 so road noise and train noise is common. Friendly staff.

I always enjoy my stay at Lubbock. I would like to see some improvements with the deluxe cabins. The reading lights above the bed wouldn’t come on (the bulb’s work…it was the switch or between the switch and light fixture), the tv was in a weird mode(I reset and restarted the system), and lastly, the shower curtain was not long enough…the mess on the floor after our showers cannot be good

This is our go-to KOA in our travels back and forth between Texas and California. Cindy in the office went above and beyond to accommodate us with our desired spot! All the office staff there are outstanding! See you next time!

Stayed as a stop over in our cross country trip. Bathrooms were super clean. Not a super beautiful location but does the job. Clean and quiet property. They nicely put us in the spot furthest from the interstate

We felt so welcomed and at home here! The staff and other guests were so friendly. This campground is older, but very clean, it has a homey feel, cats and chickens roaming around. I loved the rooster! There is free coffee in the office, often goodies as well. The heated pool and hot tub were amazing! The bathroom and showers are clean. The laundry room takes your credit card! No scrounging for quarters! The campground was pretty quiet, even with some train and road noise. Would love to come back !

We rented the tent spot so we can sleep in our SUV and the spot was perfect. Hot tub and pool area comfortable and inviting. Owner and her help were so fun to talk to over coffee. Whole park safe, quiet, beautiful and easy in and out. Great job!

Great little no frills campground! Good value. We couldn't figure out online booking, so we just gave them a call. The employee was pleasant and helpful. We would definitely stay again. We stayed in one of the two cabins. They are small and staff informed us of this in advance. We were provided a key at the office/small store which operated a deadbolt. Two windows inside, one of which was able to be opened. The floors were dirty unfortunately, so we did some cleaning ourselves. The bed was awful. We didn't sleep well because the "mattress", which would probably pass for a mattress pad, was about 4" thick and plastic with nothing under it. If we stay again, we'll just bring something else rather than bedding only. There was a TV in the cabin which was nice and the a/c, oil heater kept us comfortable. The campground is on the small side but well kept. Even with a full camp, they did a good job of keeping it clean. All gravel. I think there were two dumpsters. Staying in a cabin really helped to keep the traffic noise down. If youre bringing pets, please be aware the "dog park" is very small.. probably 150 square feet. We took advantage of local parks. There were 3 showers and four bathroom stalls in the ladies room. Water was hot. We checked out the pool and it was nice. Everything worked and the space was clean and inviting. Cute decor. Liked that the pool wasn't rectangular and got wider at the deep end. It's small but still nice with a 6 ft depth. There was also a nice medium sized playground with a fair amount of equipment for guests enjoyment.
