very much enjoyed our stay this past few days. I rented two basic cabins and a deluxe cabin as well as a pull thru space. all were clean and everything worked as it should. we picked your place as a spot for our family reunion and birthday for my mom who turned 75, we had a blast. my highest compliments to Larry and Betty over at the camp cook kitchen. very friendly and the food was great!

Wonderful and friendly hosts and people, good and safe place for kids. They just added more cameras for safety which I thought was great for the kids playing at the playground. Would recommend they have cabins and camp sites that are all in great condition. On site laundry, dish washing station, really nice playground, small basketball area, volleyball net, cornhole, frisbee golf, and so much more

Kabin was kinda of expensive but comfortable and good sleep... nice and cute Kabin... alot of things to do on the grass field for anyone enjoyto play outdoor games. Good breakfast and dinner @ Little cafe in KOA.

The stay was good, staff was fine. The only down side was the sites are too close together and there is only enough parking fo 1 vehicle at the site with limited overflow parking that costs an extra 10.00 a day

We appreciate your comments. Our sites are not designed for multiple vehicles for a reason. We want lots of trees, grass areas, flowers and a feeling of being outdoors in open space. More vehicles, more parking spaces, less of all that. We hope you understand. Come visit us again.

We stayed in cabin 3 this time. The cabin is very convenient and close to everything. We did have carpenter ants getting into the cabin. The facilities are great except the bathroom, they improved the sink and countertops but the toilets and showers are still old and dirty. We love the grass area and playgrounds and also the tie dye for the kids was super fun! Overall we will be back!

Thank you for your comments. We did a major costly renovation in our restrooms this year but we are not done yet. Renovations take time so be patient with us. We do clean daily so tell us if you have an issue while you are here. Sounds like a good stay overall. Take care.

I gave this KOA three stars due to lack of cleanliness in the bathrooms. Even after the bathrooms had been cleaned, there was still dirt in the showers’ corners, the floors were still pretty dirty, and I could see places on the toilet bowl/seat that were still dirty. The cabin floor was debris free but definitely could use a deep clean. For positives, the kids’ playground area was wonderful!

This is very disappointing to read in a review because we ask every Guest upon check-in to tell us if you have a problem affecting your stay WHILE YOU ARE HERE. Maintenance could have addressed it immediately. Too late now. Enjoy your Summer and safe travels!

Campsite was beautiful and well run and the registration lady was so helpful and kind. Also... when they say "pet- friendly" they mean it. Unlike some other KOAs that pick and choose breeds that are acceptable. This KOA are obviously dog people.

We enjoyed the new cabin with bath. Didn't know the hot water tank would run out of hot water, so with 4 people you don't want to take a shower back to back but that's the only downside.

Way too expensive for a cabin could have stayed in a nice hotel for this price.

Pretty speedy for what you get and don't get. I guess I'm a little spoiled staying up at the Warrenton koa where the cabins cheaper and way more amenities. They charged 15 for our dog for one night. No pool. No amenities other than a playground and fenced dog area. It's more of an extended stay rv park it seems. Bathroom and showers where well kept. 4 stars there. And the place was tidy as well.

My family and I live at the KOA in LC for six months and our experience could not have been better!!! The staff was absolutely amazing, treated you like you were apart of their own family. I felt extremely save and secure at all times. The playground was great and my daughter just loved to run and play. I made life long friends during our stay and I’m so blessed to have gotten the chance to stay

3 days 2 nights. Was a nice cozy cabin. Heater is on the fritz but we brought extra blankets. Camp fire is nice and the place is very clean and well organized. All the staff were super friendly and happy

Everything was fantastic! So many things to keep the kids busy. The cabins were roomy & clean & even had Christmas lights! the bathrooms were clean as well. Check in was a breeze and the store literally has everything you need in case you forgot items. We live in town and will be coming back for a staycation with the kids! Thanks again guys!

The bathrooms are in dire need of remodel. They also seemed unclean. Cabin floors could use a good cleaning.

We had an amazing time! All the kids stayed busy on the playground and play areas while me and the wife relaxed at the cabin! The staff was very friendly and made us feel like family! Definitely an amazing experience!

Nice surroundings, most of the staff were great with the exception of one person that treated my adult daughter with some negative attitude. It's a fairly cramped campground but there was a decent perception of separation at our pull through spot. I was astonished how quiet it was even hours before quiet hours. The amenities are fine, good playground for the kids.

Very friendly and helpful staff in headquarters/store and grounds. Had an issue with cabin door an hour after arrival which was immediately resolved. Cabins are on perimeter of campground with nice spacing and well defined areas for parking and entertainment, Devils Lake a reasonable distance away. Campground is far enough away from Highway that noise is not an issue. We will stay here again.

Stayed the weekend in a basic Kamping Kabin. From the time at checkin to check out we experienced nothing but joy filled smiling faces from ALL who were wearing yellow shirts. Amazing. Loved the concept of a s’more social to get families to interact with each other on Friday night. The fireside ice cream social was a hit too. Bath/shower house was always clean & stocked. We will be back!!

Stayed in a studio cabin- probably the smallest site but the cabin was clean and this KOA’s amenities were perfect! The kids enjoyed the ice cream social!

All the staff were very professional and nice. Bathrooms were not very clean the first day. We had the unfortunate luck to be placed one site away from a camper that was extremely intoxicated (loud, swearing a lot, yelling at people walking by) which put quite a damper on our weekend. In defense of the KOA staff we did not complain because we honestly were afraid to. Not sure what he would do.

Rented a cabin which was clean. Mattresses were ok, not great. Appreciated the mini-fridge and a place to wash dishes. Bathrooms and showers clean. Great to have a breakfast place on site. Larry and Betty are awesome. The downside is that the cabins are so darned close to each other. Fortunately we did not have neighbors or my rating would be way lower.

Love the fact they have community eventsand the bike cruisers were a great addition. Just wish there was more nature trails

The staff was so friendly and helpful! Our car broke down on the way there. We arrived by tow truck late at night. Molly was super nice and checked us in on the phone. She had our cabin open for us with the lights and heat on for when we arrived. Erin and Danny were helpful getting the car unloaded and seeing if we needed help installing the new battery. The cafe has good, hot breakfast!

The cabin and restrooms, including the showers need a really good cleaning. Even after watching the housekeeper check and then leave a cabin dirty was very upsetting. I gave it a 5 rating just because the location was close to many things e wanted to go and see in the area. No I would not stay here again.

One of the nicest campgrounds I've ever been in. All the tent sites were taken, but they allowed me to stay in an RV spot. A bit pricey, but well worth it. This KOA also has a kitchen that serves breakfast in the morning from 7 to 11. Sparkling clean restrooms. Beautiful Playground for kids. Several employees to help when needed.

Nice campground! Clean well maintained. Friendly front desk. Clean and updated restrooms snd showers. Would highly recommend! Ours RV space had a concrete patio with nice table and chairs and small bbq. Quiet and wooded setting.
