Conflicted...There is much to like about this KOA - location, accessibility, cleanliness, They promote their pet friendliness - their dog run is easily one of the best in the country...BUT they actually only want mute dogs so their long term tenants who are day sleepers are happy. Our dogs were never unattended and did not bark incessantly, but they do bark when someone approaches our rig.

The only thing that would have made it perfect would be if the hot tub was open. I understand why the pool would be closed since it is most likely not heated, but most places still have the hot tub open on the mild winter days. Other than that, I can't imagine a better stay! Very clean, great sites, great hosts!

Thanks for staying with us. The hot tub is definitely a plus when camping. Unfortunately with the hot tub and the pool in the same area it's hard to keep one open and the other closed.

Nice campground, very quiet when we were there. Tucked away but still close to everything in the area. We would stay again due to location.

One of my top 3 KOAs! It felt like I was at home. The cabin was awesome. Everything nice & clean. The best dog park I’ve seen at ANY campground in all my years of travel! My two doggies loved the grass & how large the field was to run. It was half the size of a football field. No sand or rocks, but grass!! Well maintained. They were able to run freely! Ms. Merry is a thoughtful person. A 10+!

Wonderful stay, close to everything, the cabin was clean and welcoming. The amenities were easy to access as well. We will stay here again.

Our welcome was friendly, relaxed, and helpful. Sight was clean and full services all in good condition. Our dog loved the dog park. The manager loved our dog and gave him love and treats every time she saw him come near the office. The only problem was the traffic noise. Seems the city has expanded into this once peaceful rural paradise.

Just stayed for 1 night. Staff was friendly. Site was clean, level, paved, nice grass. Good hookups minor amount of highway noise.

We've stayed at KOA Leander several times. We enjoy the RV resort and the area. The staff are so helpful and very friendly.

I always like staying at the Leander KOA! Very easy pull throughs that are very long. Always clean. But I do not like paying the full amount up front with no cancellation possibilities!

Hot tub hours very limited to mostly around dinner time. On the third day of my stay I was questioned by staff about residing there because I was not recognized and they thought I was dumping trash. Got several stares.

The campground is great with large sites and a huge dog park. The people in the office were very friendly and helpful. However, the people in the campground were not friendly at all. No one acknowledged a hello or wave. I even called to a man walking his dog if he could help me unhook my water hose as I couldn't turn it. He came over and did it without saying a word or responding to my thanks

This Campground is perfect in every way and I would have given it a perfect 5 except for the reason I'll mention at the end. The site or Louisville paved and beautifully laid-out. It is very easy to get in and out of the campground. The amenities are as nice as any you could ask for. The pool is in a nice shaded location and kept very clean. The variety of cabins makes it ideal for any family weather camping in a motorhome, a camper, or staying in the cabins. The dog park is the largest I've ever seen and proved to be a lot of fun for my pets. The location provides easy access to and from all the sites around Austin while not being in the midst of the hectic City Life. The store is small but well-stocked. The only issue I ran into was with the owner Merry. On two occasions she confronted us with insignificant issues that we had already addressed when we checked in. But she seems to take pride in patrolling the campground to find issues. If not for that it would have been a perfect visit. We enjoyed the campground so much that we had actually extended our stay from 5 days to 7 days.

THERE'S LONGHORNS ROAMING RIGHT NEXT TO IT! So awesome. The camping cabin was cute and clean with a large porch and grill and the facilities were very well maintained. There's a big dog park in the back, a nice pool and hot tub, a playground, a fire pit, and a pool table. Bathrooms were very clean and it had a well stocked little shop in the office. I'm not from Texas and I had never been to HEB but I'm sad we don't have them! There's a good, close one. The staff was really welcoming.

Very nice park. Sites are all paved and large. Dog park is exceptionally nice we would stay here again. Good location to Austin and surrounding things to do. Highly recommended. The park managers were very friendly too.
