What a great, quiet, friendly place. Beautiful campground, huge sites, everything worked as it should, Clean quiet get away, there was even a retired major league ball player there while I was there. And did I mention how big the sites were? I will be returning for a weekend of white water rafting in the very near future. Thanks for coffee filters you guys rock.

Great family run campground and very CLEAN! Tent sites are extra large, very clean private bathroom/showers. Thanks to Dave and crew for incredible breakfast with delicious coffee plus chocolate milk, so cool. Will definitely be visiting again, Cheers!

We enjoyed our stay. The staff were very friendly, the campsite was well taken care of and level. This was our first time visiting the area and this campground was a great location.

We just stayed one night, but wish it was longer. Lisa greeted us like family. We had a nice chat and a lot of laughs after a long day on the road. The campground is well maintained and close to local attractions. We will stay here again for a for a few days at least, if we're heading this way on another journey.

It’s all about the “Meet and Greet” in my opinion. Tammy and Dave gave us the most welcoming introduction to this family owned campsite! They took it over 5 years ago and told us all about the improvements that were made. The sites were perfect with FULL hookups and properly leveled out. The bathrooms were spotless. Kendra was absolutely wonderful and gave us a tour of the cabins.

Wonderful campground. Staff were courteous, friendly, and very attentive to the little details. It was also very quite in spite of our site being relatively close to the road with no trees to buffer the noise from the cars. We enjoyed the pool on the 90+ degree days, though the water was a bit cooler than expected. Thanks for a nice stay!!!

We booked this site several months in advance. Our sites write full sun. They faced the road/pool. Not attractive. Rest of the park was pretty. Extreme low water pressure. Park said due to city but did not give any discount.

Clean and well maintained, the campground was great. Tent site was large, well-shaded, and dry - a storm brought an inch of rain overnight that left a ton of water around the tent that was gone in less than a half hour. Bathrooms were brand new, showers had hot water. There's an ice cream stand a three minute walk away. That was the only drawback: you could hear cars on that road. Love this place.

We have been camping here for many years. Our children used to come with us and they always loved it! Now they are grown up and have other obligations so we come without them. We love that it is still so rustic and basic. Camping at its best! The additional bathrooms were a definite positive and are immaculate just as the original ones always are! We can’t wait to come back next year!

The best KOA we’ve stayed at. The location is unbeatable, and the staff is friendly and polite. This KOA truly makes you feel like you’re in the woods. We loved it and will definitely come back.

The family that runs the campground were great. Spent much time talking to them. The sites were spread out without being on top of each other which gave some private area. The fire pits were perfect, the were the right size and also looked good. Don't change them. Lots of trees which gave good shade in the hot days. Don't make any changes just to make changes. Will definitely stay again.

We had a great two night stay. The cabin and bathrooms were both very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful.

We spent 12 nights and enjoyed our stay a lot. The grounds are kept clean, and the owners and all the staff are so very nice and most helpful. Kendra is a wonderful young lady, and I enjoyed her company very much. We had a good time feeding the squirrels and chipmunks. She let me put my nuts wherever I wanted to. A must stay for us when we are in the area and can't wait to go back! Close to fun!

The cabin we stayed in was in poor condition. I was not aware of the different tiers of KOA before booking. I will likely avoid Journey in the future.

This was a very nice campground. The hosts were wonderful Kendra and her grandpa couldn't be nicer. It was very clean and the campsites were very nice. We will definitely stay again.

Absolutely no complaints. Nicely maintained campground. Lots of shaded sites, many with gravel pads. Staff was very friendly. They even came around to make sure we weren't using water when they had to repair a small leak. We'll definitely recommend and return to this campground if visiting lake George area. Only 10-15 minutes from the village in a nice quiet setting.
