Overall good stay. The mattress is a little lop-sided and the shower drain needs cleaning (slow to drain). A lot of burs on the ground that got stuck in our dogs paws but not much can be done about that. Service was friendly and we would stay again.

Spent 4 nights in one of the tiny houses. The space was clean and fresh. Great supplies. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. Especially appreciated Brad. Can’t wait to go back !!

First time to stay at a KOA--- stayed in a Kamping Kabin....perfect for our purposes-- Staff was very helpful whenever we had questions or needed something. The park was well kept and quiet--the pool was great and clean--As always, maybe some more frequent cleaning of the shower/bath house (because of the volume and frequency over Labor Day)--overall great stay--Highly recommend.

Our stay was great...Check in was easy, the cabin was cool, clean and well decorated. The bed although comfortable, the topper kept sliding down through the night. Not sure how to remedy this, but overall, we were pleasantly surprised and will definitely reserve again at our next stay. Thank you for being there for us, The Esteps (Blue Cabin)

Loved the caboose. Wonderful attention to "railroad" details. Very quaint and fun. Only thing I would recommend is a bright light above the mirror so you can see your face in it.

Really nice KOA; we stayed in the green cabin. The bed was comfy and the patio area really nice. We enjoyed the swimming pool and walking around to look at the train cars. Very freindly and helpful customer service. Definitly would stay again!

The Caboose was a great stay! This is our second stay at the caboose and we like the air conditioning improvements that were made since last year. We would love to see the rope ladder be able to be bolted to the floor somehow so that it is viable to get up to the other side of the caboose cupola. We're also excited for the completion of the 1950's train 2 bedroom suite. : )

Everything was clean and comfy. The tiny home we rented really did have all the conforts of home. The pool and playground were very nice as was the dog park. The added bonus was being able to do my laundry onsite. The staff was helpful and friendly.

We stayed in the blue cabin and enjoyed our stay. The only thing I didn’t like was taking a picture of my drivers license with a personal cell phone. I understand seeing the license, but not the picture

Stayed in deluxe cabin with bathroom. Cabin needed a deep cleaning, mold along shower trim, toilet needed cleaned around and caulked. Looked like animal urine stains around corner of bed. Having air conditioning was great. A lot of road noise. Front desk and check in was great!

Our stay in the Fleetwood cabin was ok, but not one we will repeat. There were no sheets to fit the queen foldout, only 2 sets of twin sheets. The AC unit in the main living area was not able to cool the area. The pool was a wonderful respite from the heat. Having a full bathroom and kitchen was great.

Just a couple of things for the Cabin B we stayed in. The shower curtain smelled terribly sour which made the tiny bathroom area smell. The mirror above sink was way too far for most people that have eye site problems to see into to get ready and the light over it was in a spot that didn’t give ample light.

This is our second stay at this KOA. Each time has been wonderful. The staff are caring, generous, and helpful. The KOA has unique features with the inclusion of restored railway cars turned into comfy, fashionable accommodations. There are a few tiny houses. We stayed in a modular cabin that was well equipped with dishes, cookware, and utensils. The property is clean and very well maintained.

I always enjoy staying there, but it is sure noisy with proximity to town, although the ownership can’t help with that. My only comes that I wish they would put locks on the bathrooms, am always a little concerned that people other than paying guests may be in there.

We had the pleasure to stay in the caboose, and both kids and parent were extremely happy with it! The kids also enjoyed the playground, and while the mini golf course is in need of some updating, both boys still loved it and we played multiple rounds. We can't wait to be back to check out the glass dome train car once it's finished!

Even though we got in late and only got to stay one night, we had a blast staying in the Santa Fe caboose at the La Junta KOA. It was a perfect way to cap off our vacation. We'll be back!

We stayed one night at the KOA and rented the caboose for the night. It was a really fun experience. They have done a great job decorating the caboose. The bed was comfortable and the space worked out great for the 4 of us. We checked in right after they closed for the evening and it was so easy. We picked up our check in packet and got right into the caboose with no issues. The staff was friendly and they have a small store with a few essentials in case you need to purchase anything. There's a nice playground for the kids. We would definitely stay here again and recommend our friends to check it out.
