Everything was great for a 'journey'. Easy in and out, good directions by email and location was perfect for walking to things. You were also considerate for site assignments for a park that wasn't 1005 full you did not stack us on top of each other. All reasons why I would return. I felt cared for which isn't always the case with KOA.

Facilities were clean and site was large and nice. The canopy over the tent pad was nice and the large grassy area would have been great. However, the mosquitos and flies were horrible. We couldn't step outside of our tents without covering ourselves with bug spray.

We just stayed over night but this camp is very clean and has lots of interesting things. Pool area was great. Play ground for kids was great. Helpful staff.

We had a great secluded camping spot which was very level. Restrooms, laundry, pool, and grounds were very clean. Personnel were friendly and courteous.

it's one of the better KOA's that i've stayed at. the staff is friendly, the pool and amenities are great and the grounds are well kept. my only complaint is that the water comes out of the faucet brown at first. after you let it run, the water becomes clear. i would never drink it.

Only stayed one night but was impressed by all the work that had been done arond there. So much looked freshly painted, restrooms clean, and lots of flowers blooming in 100 degree weather. Wow!

The campground was well taken care of overall. The pool was great fun for the kids a well as the playground. The pet area was clean and had a supply of dog bags. We had a great experience!

La Junta KOA is a beautiful campground. We love this campground because it's close to activities, museums, restaurants, and shopping. Thank you for caring about people and your campground, we appreciate your kindness and friendly attitude. During the summer there are many farmers markets with fresh fruit and vegetables. Try Rocky Ford Cantilope, it's the sweetest you'll ever find.

Nice campground. We were only there for a night but would have enjoyed the pool and mini golf if longer stay. Checkin was easy.

Great location. Easy access. Have stayed here several times with our motor home. This time we stayed in a little cabin. "B" Mattress needs replaced. Otherwise was perfect for what we needed for the night.

The improvements to this KOA are incredible. The only negative thing is the biting flies.

People were great I only had two problems. One was my pull thru was too short for my motor home and trailer. Two was the sewer pipe for dumping my tanks was hidden by gravel and way away from the other hook ups

We stayed in the Caboose, it was nice and well kept. The only thing was we werent informed that the water was shut off during the day we were leaving because they were working on the new train site.

The La Junta KOA is such a unique place! Where else can you live in a train car?! With a Walmart in walking distance, we suffered no lack. The grounds are very clean gravel, so the dog tracked in no mud. There's plenty of hiking nearby and attractions to enjoy. If we ever come back to La Junta, we will definitely stay here!

Brad was very helpful in giving us directions on the phone, and saved us from going miles out of our way as we were not familiar with the area.

Loved the place!!! Will definitely be back again. Can't wait to see the changes that the owner has planned for his trains!! He and his family take great care of the place. We are already planning our 2025 routes and this KOA is on the list. If I had one con to the whole thing was the bathrooms were a bit dated. But they were clean and well taken care of.

The staff are great! But the spaces are a little tight, and there isn’t any cable. But for one night, we dealt with it. I don’t recommend any rv park unless asked.

We stayed in the caboose and it was beautiful! The perfect place for our family to stay the night - we only wished we could stay longer! The kids loved sleeping in a train, and the playground, pool, and minigolf were great! The staff was friendly, and helpful, and the establishment was very clean.

Nice campground and easy to find. Managers are not very personable. My wife felt strange that the mends restrooms had doors locks but all the women’s locks had been removed

We have stayed at the La Junta KOA several times over the years. The owners are continually updating and adding cool features to this clean, quiet and secluded KOA. It features trees, cabins, big rig and patio sites, a nice dog park, a playground and nice pool to name a few. If you enjoy Santa Fe Trail and western history, Old Bent's Fort is a must while in the area. We always enjoy our stay.

Brad is very friendly and helpful and our stay was very nice. It was a quiet clean KOA campsite thank you very much. we are first timers and they were very helpful and we enjoyed our stay there.

I love staying at KOA campgrounds and this little jewel is absolutely the cutest place. We had the prime tent area and it has a privacy fence. Very charming place and you can even rent a caboose. Very friendly staff and very clean. It is a 10 out of 10

Great location and well-kept campground. Our site was perfect—we appreciated being close to the pool and playground. Really fun water slide, thanks! Nice fire ring& picnic table. Enjoyed all the decorative touches. Only disappointment was the charge for mini golf.

I always enjoy my stays at the KOA. The cabins are comfy and very clean. The staff is top notch. Brad goes out of his way to make my stays great. I will be back for sure. Kudos!!

nicest people i deal with them for my propane needs they are professional and compassionate i had limited money to fill my tank they went ahead filled the tank to the amount of money i had which worked out great

I come here specifically to stay in the caboose. It's an amazing setup getting to sleep in a converted train caboose. It has its own Firepit and grill too. Worth the trip just to get to stay here.
