Mini golf course was torn up. Showers were mediocre at beat. Laundry was cheap, but only 3 of 4 washers worked.

This was our second stay here and we will definitely be back. The staff is great and we had a very clean and level spot with a quality electrical hook up and good water pressure. Also, there are several very good eating spots within a few miles drive.

I liked the campground area, the amenities were nice, the little store/check in area were nice, and the staff were very friendly and responsive. I thought the cabin was a bit cramped and the bed was so hard that it was like sleeping on a floor, didn't like the plastic cover over the entire mattress either.

When we arrived, we were upgraded due to the Kabin we reserved was in a construction zone, and were provided with 2 "free" bottles of water. Come to find out, there was renovation and construction being done on a train caboose right next to us. Workers there from early a.m. throughout the day. Days later, after checking bank account, we were charged for those "free" bottles of water. How rude!

La Junta KOA has clean bathrooms and showers. The site was pretty level and had a tree for some shade from the hot sun. Have stayed here before and will again when in the area.

There was no one at the office when we got there but we were able to get help for locating our spot. The first spot we were directed to was not long enough but the one next to it was perfect and we had partial shade. Over all we had no problems.

We stayed one night and the host Corral was very nice and helpful. The kids had a blast in the pool and made the heat a lot more barré able. Thanks for the great experience!!

We rented the new Caboose. It’s very cute and had everything necessary. The bathroom is extra cute.

We had a great stay overnight. Nothing fancy, but we had a large, clean pull through. Very nice young guy checked us in and filled our propane tanks. Would stay here again.

Pretty perfect! Cabin exceptional and gave us the rest we needed at that point in the journey. Respite from the heat wonderful. Couldn't have asked for better.

Quick overnight stay. The area around the sewer dump had toilet paper around on the ground from a previous traveler. That was unpleasant.

The stay was good but the external noise around the camp was impacting, particularly sleeping. The KOA staff was great, facilities clean and sites were convenient.

All the facilities were great. The only issue I had was the site itself. I reserved a what was supposed to be "big-rig friendly" but its was very sketchy getting into the spot. Getting out was even worse. Fences, large boulders, and very tight turns. We finally had to back out of the slot because it's was just too tight. Recommend re-evaluating which sights are considered Big Rig Friendly.

Stayed at one of the small cabins. AC and heat availability was adequate. Units are extremely close together, so very little auditory privacy. Nice shade trees were neatly appreciated in keeping the unit cooler from the afternoon sun. Fairly short parking spot, but enough for my 2 door Jeep. Overall the unit worked well for a short two day stay.

We stayed in a deluxe cabin with a loft, which was great for our grandson. The KOA is like a little neighborhood - you can enjoy your own "property" or go out to meet the neighbors. The pool was wonderful!

Slow check in. Only one person to check with and he was on a long phone call with customer. 30 minutes to wait to check in is not acceptable. Park is okay for a over night. Dog Park is sub par. No grass and small, only dirt. Fence was a short four foot picket fence. Not good for taller dogs. We will stay again but not more then a day.

I enjoy this campground. It's a great place to stop to rest up and/or see some of the local sites. You can walk to Walmart and several restaurants. The staff is super nice and helpful. The sites are level, dog run is nice, and its very easy off and on Highway 50.

Our cabin was clean, cool and ready for our stay. The facility bathrooms and showers were clean and open all day and night. The pool was clean, had lots of seating, and the kids loved the slide. We love to stay at the La Junta KOA when visiting family and friends.

It was an overnight. Sights are tight, but doable. Staff is very accommodating. Dog park is small, but ok. Very convenient on and off highway. We had a nice shade tree that made for a nice afternoon.

The swimming pool is lovely. The overall appearance is shabby and worn looking. The putt putt golf course is in very poor condition. Lots of painting and repairs need to be completed

Great spot, staff was very nice and helpful. Great pool. Wish gameroom was open and golf should not used as a feature.

We stayed one night at the KOA and rented the caboose for the night. It was a really fun experience. They have done a great job decorating the caboose. The bed was comfortable and the space worked out great for the 4 of us. We checked in right after they closed for the evening and it was so easy. We picked up our check in packet and got right into the caboose with no issues. The staff was friendly and they have a small store with a few essentials in case you need to purchase anything. There's a nice playground for the kids. We would definitely stay here again and recommend our friends to check it out.
