It was just a stop for the night but having arriving late the owner came out and open up just to accommodate me. Very helpful and I was very thankful for him to go out of his way.

The location is great. But I invited my 85 year-old Mother to dinner with me and when she (and my Brother who drover her there) arrived they were charged 10 dollars EACH just for the privilege of visiting my campsite. In the future (and I visit the Kinzua area about 6 times per year) I will choose one of the other campgrounds. 20 bucks is just too much.

What I'd expect from a koa. Clean campground, all services worked fine. Not very private sites. Some dirt bike noise from nearby roads during the day. We stayed there as a base to explore the area and find campgrounds that were more private. Still spots available on Labor Day weekend.

Our campsite was way too close to a cabin with many people in it. Too much day noise. Hamburg and hotdog night was really nice.

We loved the quiet, great site. The owners are very friendly. Enjoyed our conversations with them. Would come again and will spread the word.

Very loud party on opposite side of campground kept me and my kids awake until 1 am. No rules are being enforced here. We didn't even stay for the second night because of this.

Another KOA that allows pets in their cabins! This one is off the beaten path and very calm.

Just passing thru and stayed here overnight. Would stay again if coming back into the area. Very hospitable campground owners and everything very clean.

The campground was nice; however, the bathrooms and deluxe cabin (which was NOT cheap) were filthy. We had to clean the cabin before I would even set the luggage down.

Grounds were okay but no sites with dumping. WiFi was terrible, extremely weak signal. Laundry clean but only one dryer with 3 washing machines, but price is excellent for laundry.

Very remote location. Back in space for MH. Limited to no Wi-Fi or TV. Staff friendly. If looking for off grid experience this is the place. Boating, beach and hiking about 10 minute drive.

It is very small with very little to do at campgrounds. Only one bathhouse. They also charge day visitors.... anywhere from $5 to $10 per person. Not worth the price. They are one of the higher priced KOA grounds. Don't waste your time

Big rig site are back in, not a problem backing but you have to do it from the blind side. Poor layout!

Not enough for the kids to do and overpriced. The area state campgrounds were packed full but the KOA was empty.

Great for hunters and fishers. No onsite Internet, cable, nor TV when in wooded sites. Very nice pool. Staff friendly and helpful.

We had a great time while staying there. When we got there Slim took us to our camp site and he was super friendly and personable. I would definitely visit the Kinzua KOA again!

This will be my second year fall camping at this KOA. Great place to get away for a weekend especially when I leaves are changing! Staff was extremely friendly and very pleasant this year and last (I only stayed one weekend and it felt like they knew me this year). Some of the sites can be challenging to a new driver, but staff is always more than happy to help get you setup. I would highly recommend as it's family friendly and all around a good time.

Update: I originally gave this place a 4 out 5 4 years ago because of it not being updated... this was the beginning of our travel trailer experiences. After visiting over 20 campgrounds since my original review I am upgrading it 5 stars. The people that own this place are an example of the original campground experience. Quiet. Wooded. Peaceful. Hard working. The real "salt of the earth" people. These place is a piece of heaven. Do not give notice to the bad reviews. Those reviews are from people looking for the galmping experience. This is not that. This is camping. Go enjoy it. Thank you for having us. We will return. God bless. Original review: The only reason I'm giving it 4 and not 5 is because it has not been updated in a long time. Other than that, everything is in good order. Clean campground. Exactly what a camping trip should feel like. Middle of the woods. Gorgeous. So isolated that you feel a little nervous in the pitch dark woods. Great experience
