People were wonderful but with all the rain the campsites were a little soggy.

It’s fine if all you are looking for is a place to park your camper! The pool is not Olympic sized, but it is very clean. The playground is very limited and old, fine for very young children. The bathrooms are fine, the showers are great, both hot and cold knobs, not timed, or coin operated! The office/general store is very old, and very limited for supplies. Very friendly/helpful employees!

Bathrooms were clean and they let us borrow a water hose which was nice. The pool was clean but too cold. The sites in the front were too close together with very little shade. The campground is centrally located to area attractions but expensive. Fire rings are inadequate and too close to next site. The trees that are there need trimming.

The campsite we were told we would have on the computer, was different than the site we actually got. The grass was never mowed, it was a foot long at our site. It was a holiday weekend, and there was no special activities for kids or families to do. The bathroom did not have toilet paper. Overall a terrible experience. We will not be coming back.

We had a great time. Very relaxing. Hot showers and good pressure. The staff was super friendly and very knowledgeable of the area. Not much in the way of frills but my kids enjoyed themselves anyway. Will visit again for sure to do some atv riding!

Great time. We were fortunate to be there weekend before your Memorial Day holiday so not crowded. Campground was exactly what we wanted. I know it was just opening this weekend but had all amenities we were looking for. Owners and family are great people and I enjoyed talking to them. We drove around to all sites in area walking the trails. Bicycle riding limited due to rain. Enjoyed stay.

The biggest thing is for this time of year all they have is electric and sewage for the same price seems so they would lower the rate a little

Great place great people! Gary is very personable and a delight to converse with. As with many KOAS the WiFi is lacking and didn't work very often even near the office.

12 years patronizing this campground & upon arrival we immediately get greeted by Gary with a "Slow down, you were going to fast. The speed limit here is 5 mph". I drove 50 yds. on your rd. & was going maybe 6-7 mph. $200 dollars a night, 12 years of reservations, a 3 hour commute & that's how we get greeted? Really? Hoping to find you in a better mood next year for our trip. My apologies again.

Bathrooms clean. Staff pleasant. Site was nice with picnic table, and campfire. Unlike other locations, there was no internet, or tv signal at our spot. The only internet (weak) signal was behind the laundry facility. Expensive for what you get.

Very nice camp ground even in the middle of October. The sites are lovely and the staff were helpful. The camp ground is in a lovely area. Really enjoyed traveling in the area. Would gladly stay again

Gary the manager was very nice. Only used the bathroom once it was clean but really needs updating. Our site was# 91 a little tough to back in. Lots of trees and sites are a good size. Lots of permanent campers. I would stay there again. Out in the middle of nowhere so bring everything you need. I enjoyed our stay. Cold have used a bigger map to show exactly where the kinzua bridge and dam were.

The hosts were great. The cabin we stayed in was great! The bath houses were clean. The campground was quiet. Great stay! Would definitely recommend this campground

This campground is nestled in the pine trees with plenty of spacing between sites. The Estep family is very helpful in placing you in the best accommodations for your motorhome. The area has many trails to hike and places to explore. A must see is the Kinsua Bridge Sky Walk and trails. We will definitely be back to this area again! The Fink Family, Oct. 2017

We throughly enjoyed our stay at Kinzua East. We relaxed and took time to visit some of the attractions in the area. The owners were extremely knowledgeable and made excellent suggestions of places to visit. We had a campfire almost every night we were there. The wood sold in this park was nice and dry so it was easy to get our campfire started. We also enjoyed the stone fire pit!

Camp is large but set up crowded thru woods with a trailer is not good. There were cabins up front and RVs where it was easy but looked like full timers. Laundry room and rec room closed at 6:00pm even tho it is advertised to stay open to 9:00 pm. He was altlle abrupt when I was booking. Did not want to answer my questions on pricing , just said " You want to Book?" did not seem customer friendly.

We felt we were given one of the worst sites in the park, under a shedding pine tree with uneven ground. We were the only ones staying in the area with many more sites empty but unavailable. The needles from this tree were raining down on us the entire time making it impossible to eat at the picnic table which was underneath the tree. We cut our stay short one day costing us $45 with no refun

Nicely maintained KOA, and I've stayed at many of them. Owners were helpful and friendly and always available for a chat. Late in the season so some facilities had already closed (i.e. pool) but overall a great stay. Only suggestion might be for at least a couple of the 'sleeps six' two room Kabins on site. Perfect size for 3 guys that are motorcycling together... sleeps 3 are a bit too tight

Had a wonderful time. The Estep's are great hosts. Made us feel at home, part of their family. The campground was in great shape.

There are hardly any other campgrounds in this area. This KOA is very over priced for what you get. And for what we have been paying at KOA's. $42 with the KOA discount card.

The staff was very helpful in giving us directions to the places we wanted to go. Very friendly. We stayed in a cabin. Clean, as was the entire camp. Good location Very close to many of the tourist attractions.

We arrived at 7 pm and the office was closed with a packet with campground info. We went to the office and paid in the morning. We had a tough time backing into the back-in site since it was dark and the site was at a difficult angle from the driveway. We had a nice stay for two days despite the wet weather and noise from occasional trucks since the campsite was closer to the road than desired.

Beautiful wooded site with full hook ups. Clean bathrooms and showers. Staff very helpful with directions and information.

This will be my second year fall camping at this KOA. Great place to get away for a weekend especially when I leaves are changing! Staff was extremely friendly and very pleasant this year and last (I only stayed one weekend and it felt like they knew me this year). Some of the sites can be challenging to a new driver, but staff is always more than happy to help get you setup. I would highly recommend as it's family friendly and all around a good time.

Update: I originally gave this place a 4 out 5 4 years ago because of it not being updated... this was the beginning of our travel trailer experiences. After visiting over 20 campgrounds since my original review I am upgrading it 5 stars. The people that own this place are an example of the original campground experience. Quiet. Wooded. Peaceful. Hard working. The real "salt of the earth" people. These place is a piece of heaven. Do not give notice to the bad reviews. Those reviews are from people looking for the galmping experience. This is not that. This is camping. Go enjoy it. Thank you for having us. We will return. God bless. Original review: The only reason I'm giving it 4 and not 5 is because it has not been updated in a long time. Other than that, everything is in good order. Clean campground. Exactly what a camping trip should feel like. Middle of the woods. Gorgeous. So isolated that you feel a little nervous in the pitch dark woods. Great experience
