We were disappointed with this KOA. Staff unfriendly. Table in laundry was dirt, couldn’t fold clothes. Had issue with frozen spigot at site (not their fault). Called to notify, left message, NO response. Bathrooms need updating. Shower water was hot(good), but curtain too short (my stuff wet), stool inadequate, bench needed. No paper towel in bathrooms. May save money, very inconvenient.

The roads in the park have not been taken care of, big holes. They offer free WI-FI, my phone as a hot spot worked better, was told when I asked about the Wi-Fi “Maybe to many people are logged in”. Not to many people there, need to purchase more bandwidth.

Since the campsite is right off the hi6, it was very noisy. We arrived very late at night and there was no one to show us to our site. It was not very welcoming.

The interior roads are getting rough and need to be graded. The playground equipment is okay, but could definitely be better. The laundry room is acceptable. The overall cost of this KOA for the area is ridiculous, and the lack of weekly rates could be addressed.

Staff was very courteous and accommodating. We were passing thru on a one nighter heading back to Michigan from the southwest. Shower/Bathrooms need to be updated.

This is our first RV trip and we are crossing the USA . All the KOA stays have been exceptional . Friendly clean and well organized camp sites.

It’s very unfortunate that there aren’t more lights on the property as we came in at night and left just as first light was coming up. You have a large property and it would have been nice if you had dedicated more space to the dog park. We have two large dogs and they weren’t able to run at all.

The site was easy to reach and felt secure. The road noise was there but was expected so no issue. The only slight complaint would be to fix the shut off on the water supply so that "off isn't really off" is a thing of the past. Getting wet while trying to hook up water supply in the cold was not so pleasant. I still would stay here again as the staff was very friendly

We just stayed for a night on a way back from Hot Springs Ntl Park and it was clean and well organized. Owners very nice and were guided by golfcart to our site which was a pull in full hook-up.

We were a planned late arrival, the facilities bathroom etc were not available as they did not provide access codes. The App/Web site indicated only 2 spaces were available but more than half of the park was empty, we were forced to pay for an RV site when all we wanted or needed was a tent site or place to park our van. This was not as we expected as our other stays at KOA’s we amazing!

One night stay. No complaints other than the cold weather. The restrooms were worn but clean. Temperature was good in the restrooms for the weather. Interstate is right there so there is a lot of traffic noise. Electric 50 amp hookup was good. Didn’t use water/sewer at this site. This was a perfect overnight experience.

An enjoyable stay, Tina checked us in and Dave escorted us in his golf cart to our site. The ice cream bar was delicious and we filled up with propane the next morning — thanks everyone!

Stayed one night in Joplin on our way to Tucson and again one night on our way home, great place to stay! We highly recommend Joplin KOA!

It wasn't easy making a reservation, but after that all was good. It was easy excess to & from the highway. Plenty of walking opportunities even on a cold night and morning. I would recommend staying there

Positive: clean and well-appointed kabin, with mini-fridge, microwave and climate control. Negative: incredibly noisy environment after sunset, due to a very close by fuel station which probably serves as international headquarters for the open-pipe society. I feel for the owners but they should consider putting up some sort of noise screen. Could not sleep very well.

The Joplin Journey KOA is a great campground on I44 in Joplin, Mo. easy access off and on ramps. The Owners / Managers are very nice and accommodating. There are restroom/ showers available , a full laundry , playground and dog park. You can also refill propane. In addition there are Large RV Pull-thru sites that can accommodate large RV's. Various tent sites with level ground and access. Easy check-in service for late arrivals. There are Truck plazas, fast food, grocery supplies all nearby. There is a small store on site with many convenience supplies. I full time and travel in a 40 ft Motorhome towing. ** there are dirt and gravel roads the owners grates so roads are not primarily paved but still in good condition and maintained. This is a campground that can easily accommodate large rvs with pull thrus and large groups. This is not a Rv resort but instead has nature and very clean and quiet. There is some noise level at various hours of the day due to the close proximity of the Interstate and nearby businesses. I have stayed at this park numerous times and will continue to stay because of the kindness of the local owners. The park is a family oriented park that is quiet and doesn't have loud parties and feels safe.

This place is very clean and pleasant Dave and Tina are helpful just ask... You can feed the turtles and geese ... Which is cool ...I'm staying in a long-term spot and it's nice . I hope they get the pool going !!
