I stayed here for 2 nights on 10/22/24 - 10/23/24 and was very satisfied with the stay. The Joplin KOA is located along I-44 but not so close that you hear the interstate noise. It is very spacious and well maintained. The staff was very professional and friendly. They have excellent pizza and their delivery was quick enough that the pizza was hot when delivered. I will recommend this KOA.

Love the campground. Staff was nice, polige and efficient. Havecstayed before and will again. However, will request not to be near long-term campers in the future.

Only difficulty was getting to this KOA due to road construction closures! Once there the local Halloween festivities were being enjoyed!

Easy check in and was escorted to the site. The site was clean, but was uneven.

Typical KOA cleanliness and decent Amenities for cabin, unfortunately the cabin didn’t have a heater and night time temps dropped in the 40s so the cabin temp was 50ish degrees. The cabins can use painting too

Camp experience was great. My reason for not being happy with this KOA is the high price. My mom was in the hospital and I needed to stay close and I did know for how long. The daily price was as much as I have ever paid including San Diego, Las Angeles and Vegas. This is in Joplin, MO. I had to leave before my mom was discharged due to the price.

Nice sites. Hosts were helpful. Showers need some attention. Wooden bar stools are not stable for a shower area. No place to put soap, shampoo, etc.

Everything worked well. Site could use a mowing or weed control as it had been some time since it was done. Helpful team and nice facility. Some traffic noise but not as bad as some KOA locations we have been to. Nice dog park and walking area. Cable tv was a bonus.

Overlay a nice facility and we have stayed twice. The wifi was spotty and I wound up having to use my portable hot spot to watch the news.

The people were very friendly and helpful. The grass needs mowed and leaves picked up. It was convenient location.

The place needs to be upkeep much better. The stay was fine but seems nobody really does clean up most sites were not taken care of. Not up to the same as the other KOS's.

Very unkept lawn. Dog poop on our site. Needs a serious freshening up. Kept hearing what we felt sound like gunshots, called office, he came out and said it was detail shop hitting on stuff...hmmmm

I thought it was odd that our full hookup site did not have cable access. I suggest you do a better job of explaining this at time of checking in.

Disappointed. Stayed in a rustic one room cabin. The good: pleasant husband/team. Slept well. Quiet. The bad: Although clean on the inside, huge spider & webs on the outside. Torn window screen. Bathroom needs updating and just felt unclean. Left without using the shower. Not what I expect from a KOA. Will not return.

The site was ok. The whole park is mowed but unkept. The woman working the counter was not very friendly. The playground had sharp rocks as a base not a kid friendly surface if children fall. Ours did and it cut his knee and stuck in his knee.

Clean KOA and friendly staff. All gravel sites, closely spaced together. I feel the charge was too much for a basic journey.

The shower and bathroom could be updated. They are a little small especially for those of use who have mobility issues. Overall it was a nice stay.

We stayed 2 days, and found Joplin KOA Journey a good location to relax, visit a local restaurant and shop at Walmart. I enjoyed walking my dog around the Park and took her to the small dog park. Our site was a pull through with good power and convenient water and dump utilities. We would recommend Joplin KOA and will stay again if the opportunity presents itself. P.S. We also ordered the pizza!

Clean Koa and in a easy place off the highway to stop for our overnight trip. Will stay there again if we head south.
