Second visit to this KOA location. The only suggestion I would.make is to maybe have a second set of restrooms at the back side of the park. Especially for the late night trips .

This seems to be a good overnight stop. Nothing about the campground says stay longer. It looks unkept. That’s just the sites. Clean sites but overgrown grass and weeds in gravel areas. A bit on top of each other. Picnic tables in areas close to neighbors and hookups. Definitely has some full time RV living spaces and it looks rough. Not unfriendly but indifference at reception.

The only reason I gave a lower rating was because of the shower house. It needs to be repaired. The stall I happened to go to had no hot water. I realized too late that the hot water valve was broken. Also it is old and had years of dirt built up on the floors and walls. Other than that it is a nice KOA grounds and the staff were nice.

Clean facilities. Conveniently right off interstate. Large sites. Nice laundry. Right near all services. Great Farmers Market in Joplin just a few miles away. Would stay again.

Security was rude and pushy. Security appeared to be watching my wife's body while she was setting up the tent. Security was not patient even though we were about to place our K9s on 20 foot leads. Security did not patrol the area after dark. The cashier lady was very polite and friendly. The facilities appear to be freshly updated and were very nice and clean.

We got to the KOA to find an unpleasant host, who also happened to be very unkept person.She tells us a man on a golf cart will show us where the cabin is. He was rude also. We are not used to this type of behavior as we have stayed at MANY KOA camps. We get to our Delux cabin to find fithy floor and mouse droppings in the kitchen, the man yelled at us and said it was ants in the drawer, said we

It was a nice stopover location, but the guy who checked us in was not very friendly. The guy who did the mowing was great, friendly and jovial.

Front door was filthy dirty. Bathroom was dirty. Grounds were run down. Sketchy full time trailers. Close to several large truck stops. Lots of truck noise from highway. Will not stay again

Check out by 10am is unreasonable. Made for rushed prep to leave. Most parks 11am or noon is the typical check out time. Wifi did not work for us after several attempts.

Friendly staff. Helpful. Lots of get togethers. Ice cream social and breakfast buscuits and gravy! So sad we missed the buscuits, we left early! Young teenagers were a pleasure to talk to! Wish them luck in school this year! From the retired PE teacher from FL! Viv Garner

The restroom and shower were dirty. The grounds were in a state of repair. There were no activities for the family. There were no handicap accessible restrooms, toilets, or showers, and last but not least the one employee that we met was not very nice.

Joplin koa is very clean, grounds are maintained, staff is very helpful and always willing to accommodate you if possible. This is are spot at least twice a year on our way to and from Illinois to texas.

Cost is comparatively high. Bathrooms, showers, laundry, pool, camp store as far as possible from all sites. Site was level and we'll shaded. Staff was very nice. Overall, good park.

front desk person did not look professional, her KOA shirt was old and dirty. Grounds need attn, overgrown weeds. We are used to seeing KOA staff look neat/cleaned, friendly and welcoming. The person behind the desk said they can make pizzas but I was weary of the cleanneness of the kitchen I understand this is more for an overnight/passing thru place. next time we will push on find another place

Convenient location. Some expressway noise, but worth trade off. Would appreciate more shade cover or trees. Been Rv'ing for 45 yrs, a handicap shower and toilet would be especially nice, and safer! Fine spot for overnight on the road stop. Needed electric for AC this very hot summer!

Bathrooms and laundry roomwere not as clean as other KOAs but were adequate. Sites grassy for tents but not so nice when its raining.

Near I44, yet with trees and design to reduce road noise. Washrooms need updating. Showers are cramped and the room is dark. Sites are close and not that private.
