I thought it was odd that our full hookup site did not have cable access. I suggest you do a better job of explaining this at time of checking in.

Disappointed. Stayed in a rustic one room cabin. The good: pleasant husband/team. Slept well. Quiet. The bad: Although clean on the inside, huge spider & webs on the outside. Torn window screen. Bathroom needs updating and just felt unclean. Left without using the shower. Not what I expect from a KOA. Will not return.

The site was ok. The whole park is mowed but unkept. The woman working the counter was not very friendly. The playground had sharp rocks as a base not a kid friendly surface if children fall. Ours did and it cut his knee and stuck in his knee.

Clean KOA and friendly staff. All gravel sites, closely spaced together. I feel the charge was too much for a basic journey.

The shower and bathroom could be updated. They are a little small especially for those of use who have mobility issues. Overall it was a nice stay.

We stayed 2 days, and found Joplin KOA Journey a good location to relax, visit a local restaurant and shop at Walmart. I enjoyed walking my dog around the Park and took her to the small dog park. Our site was a pull through with good power and convenient water and dump utilities. We would recommend Joplin KOA and will stay again if the opportunity presents itself. P.S. We also ordered the pizza!

No shower! Seriously it was lukewarm water that DRIZZLED out. I've seen better drizzle on donuts! I can't imagine what it's like when people are waiting because if you dribble some water on yourself and use shampoo it will take you ten minutes to get the shampoo your your hair, assuming you have short hair. That does not meet the definition of a shower. Worst KOA stay ever!

nice sites, our 2nd visit. storm shelters throughout the campground. only real problem is it is neighbors with 2 or 3 truck stops. Very noisy. bring your ear plugs.

Pull thru patio site very spacious with trees and green areas. The park offers plenty of walking areas for our dogs and most of all quiet

we were delayed and arrived at 8:30 pm. The camp host saw us arrived and came over to show us to the campsite and made sure we were settled in

Arrived just before closing time. Host took us to site - very nice. Was parked about the farthest possible place from the bathhouse - even though there were many, many open spaces.

I stay at KOA campgrounds for easy, overnight stays when I travel cross country. I prefer koa over a hotel . This campground was close to the highway which was convenient. It was well maintained and clean .

The staff was super friendly even gave us some fire wood cause we were only ones in a tent at night. Just if tent sites were maintained a little better would be nice.

KOA Joplin was clean, quiet, and a lovely overnight stay on our way back to Dallas. We arrived around 8PM and the gentleman who greeted us was professional and friendly. We highly recommend this KOA location and would stay here again.

Bathrooms and laundry roomwere not as clean as other KOAs but were adequate. Sites grassy for tents but not so nice when its raining.

Near I44, yet with trees and design to reduce road noise. Washrooms need updating. Showers are cramped and the room is dark. Sites are close and not that private.
