Older campground with deferred maintenance. Our site had a significant incline requiring extensive blocking to level our RV. Staff was friendly. There prices (over $90 for the night) are significantly higher than most.

We had a very nice site...spent a lot of the time away experiencing the beautiful area. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Thank you for a great stay in West Virginia.

No fire pit at our site. Overall the park seems tired. Ok for one night.

We have each campsite description posted online when you made your reservation. The site type you chose cannot accomadte a fire pit due to campers driving all the way through the site. Thank you for your feedback.

The deluxe cabin was very nice and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The staff is very nice and helpful. The camp is east to get to.

We stayed in the tent area near a lot of R.V.;s which seemed like they were long term stays. It was a bit crowded.

I hate to give less than stellar reviews. The sites at this place were overgrown and not mowed...giving an unkempt feeling; sites extremely close to one another. I'm only giving this a 3 b/c the bathhouse was clean and the WIFI was great.

Enjoyed our stay, every one of the staff were very nice. We had stayed at this site 2 years ago and it is obvious they have done a lot to improve the campground.

Staff very friendly and welcoming on arrival. Sites could use some TLC with additional rock and leveling. White patio furniture needs to be power washed.

Too much noise from the interstate as we were in the back of the campground, that's fine for an overnight. We would prefer a quieter place for a longer stay. Also you put us in a tent site when plenty of other sites were available, it is difficult maneuvering the trailer around the railroad ties. You get a 4 because you and staff are super friendly and nice, the cg is clean and neat.

We hate to hear that the interstate noise kept you up. We try to honor the site type that our campers choose when they book online since they can see the description of each online booking. We are glad you were pleased with our staff and the cleanliness of our campground.

Positives: Host was very nice check in easy. Gentlemen who took us to site was very nice and helpful. Pull through, not sure if level we didn’t unhook b/c only stayed the night. The sites are VERY tight, we had maybe 2’ between us and the site next to us. No fire rings just dirt circle. Dog play yard unkept. Close to highway. Seemed more like a KOA Journey.

We are glad you had a positive check in and escort to site. We do try to keep our site description online accuate to the site type you chose. Our pull through sites cannot have a fire ring without being run over by the campers. We hope you decide to come stay with us again in the future.

We stayed for two nights. Shower house were nice and they were clean. The pet area was a good size but could use some repairs. Our 30 Amp breaker tripped the first night on just one ac unit so they lent us a converter plug and changed the breaker the next day.

Stayed in a deluxe cabin this time through, road noise from the interstate kept me up so I didn't get much rest. A few slats were missing from the blind also. Very friendly staff and s nice shop.

Very pleasant, comfortable campground. Staff was extremely helpful & friendly. They were very accommodating & showed concern when a flat tire on our trailer prevented us from leaving on time.

For the amount of money we paid (over $400.00), for a deluxe cabin, it was not worth it. We spent 3 nights there with the weather around the mid 30s at nite with no heat in the cabin. Notified the staff and they did not fix it or come check it until the last day we were there and then still no heat. Does not comply with the federal ADA standards either. Could have stayed cheaper at a hotel.

We hate to hear that the weather was not the greatest for your stay. If it was up to us we would have nice weather year round. We were not made aware of the issue until the end of your stay but we did come to fix the split unit when it was brought to our attention.

Stayed two nights in deluxe cabin, while touring the area in particular the Blenko Glass Museum and factory tour. The location of the campground in terms of access to Huntington, St Albans, Charleston and the casino is a perfect jump off point. We stay routinely at KOAs so it was as expected in terms of access, parking and sites. Only drawback was highway noise that might bother some.

We had asked and ( I thought!) paid for a patio site however our site was not. The people were very nice and the wifi was great.

Had a nice 2 night stay. Staff are very nice. Sites are pretty level. I would stay again but upgrade to a patio site which was much nicer. Our picnic table was in pretty rough shape. Easy to and from I-64. Thank you KOA!!

Very nice folks. Easy access from I64 except... for the entrance coming from the east. Must plan this 120 degree turn. Level patio pull-thru site, power, cable etc all good. Some highway noise but not really bad. An easy 1 night stay in my 40ft Class A. Will come back.

Tons of bees near our cabin and bathroom. Also didn’t like hearing the cars on the road all night

Thank you for your feedback. When the weather changes in our area the wildlife start to move around and we try to plan ahead with our bee traps. Also hate to hear that the interstate noise kept you up.

Staff are very helpful and friendly. Second time we have stayed at this location to visit family that live nearby. Location is great close by to dining, shopping, and supplies. Shower and facilities ar clean. Recommend checking out Shonnet’s for nearby restaurant or Tudor’s biscuit world.

Very friendly camp host. Directions take you to the worst possible entry road, when traveling in from West bound I-64. There is a Big-Rig route, but it is only listed for East bound I64, figure how to use that for both directions if you are a in a bigger size rig. Site#27, permanent electric post on right, could not open slides w/o moving back, not level. Spot not level, permanent electrical

It was a great place to stay as we were traviling and needed a place to stay over night. we ended up staying 2 nights. it was raining with high winds nice place to tuck in untill it was clear to get back on the road, staff was supper nice.

One of the best, if not THE best KOAs we’ve stayed at. 5G wifi and a ton of cable channels! Staff was incredibly friendly and the park is VERY clean. We will stay here again!!!

Great place, however, we had a premium site & the gravel definitely needed replenished. We had to drive through a mud puddle to get set up & it was in the area we had to park our truck, so we had to strategically park & be careful when taking the dog out, so we didn’t step in it or track it in our trailer. Site 17.

Granted our stay was early April, the campground was not in great shape for what we expect from other KOAs we have stayed at. We are very unlikely to stop here again.

Awesome find!! I needed a place with my dog for one night that was affordable. Here it is! These little rustic cabins are perfect! Grassy with a fire pit table swing on the porch! Comfortable bed, simple. Bring some blankets and pillows. The hosts were absolutely hospitable! Super kind! It's close to the hwy, so it's not good for a lite sleeper. I was able to sleep fine!

We stayed in Cabin 2 it was a nice cabin for 4 only 2 of us. We have stayed before. Clean and nice 2 tvs. Burner to cook on no stove only in lodge. Big fridge. Resteraunts and shopping close by. Nice staff had to call to figure out how to turn the heat on, the first night. A guy came right over and explained it to us. Nice quiet campground. Some campers was here one right beside us but still no noise. It is beside of the interstate but no worse than at home. If you have a big camper I'd suggest getting off at the mall exit and coming back up route 60 sharp turn if you come through Milton. Flea market close by.
