Letchworth State Park is located just 12 miles (20 minutes) north of our campground. Letchworth is known as the "Grand Canyon of the east." This state park is one of the most scenically magnificent areas in the eastern U.S. The Genesee River roars through the gorge over three major waterfalls between cliffs--as high as 600 feet in some places--surrounded by lush forests. Hikers can choose among 66 miles of hiking trails.

Silver Lake State Park is a beautiful park that offers swimming, a boat launch for boating and fishing and is about 30 minutes from the campground. It also has picnic areas and a comfort station.

Just 30 minutes from the campground is the Charcoal Corral & Silver Lake Drive-in. Not only does it have a movie drive-in, but It has miniature golf, a game room, a restaurant, pizza and ice cream. Enjoy your day on Silver Lake and have some fun in the evening at the Charcoal Corral & Silver Lake Drive-in.

Cuba Lake is 30 minutes from the campground, located north of the Village of Cuba, in western Allegany County. It is a man-made lake that was created in 1858. Public boating access is provided at the DEC boat launch site off West Shore Road, near the Rawson Creek inlet. A hand launch into the creek itself can accommodate canoes and kayaks. Tailored boats can launch at the main launch, which is equipped with a concrete ramp and floating docks. Parking is available for 24 cars with trailers and 10 additional cars.

Rushford Lake is a 585 acre man-made reservoir located 15 minutes from the campground in northwest Allegany County.
Anglers have access at two spots on the north side of the lake. The Balcom Beach area provides shore fishing access and a trailered boat launch.
From Route 243, take Balcom Beach Road to Old State Road. Shore fishing access is also available on the north side of the Caneadea Dam, from the picnic area at the end of Lake Road (Formerly Dam Road).
Stony Brook State Park is 50 minutes from the campground and features a rugged gorge in the rolling hills of Western New York. You can enjoy the park's rich scenery while picnicking, swimming or hiking. The North Entrance for day use visitors features a picnic area with tables, grills, restrooms, playground, natural stream-fed pool, and entrance to the hiking trails.

Just 30 miles or 45 minutes from the campground you can go for a trolley ride through a 60-acre park that allows visitors to view & interact with zebras, bison & more.

Niagara Falls is just an hour and half (1 1/2 hours) from the campground. Many of our campers enjoy Letchworth for a day and then head up to Niagara Falls the next day. You do need your passport or an enhanced Driver's License (Issued by New York, Michigan, Vermont and Washington only) to travel to the Canadian side.
The Corning Museum of Glass is a museum in Corning, New York, located an hour and fifteen minutes (1.15 hours) from the campground that is dedicated to the art, history and science of glass. It was founded in 1951 by Corning Glass Works and currently has a collection of more than 50,000 glass objects, some over 3,500 years old.

It is one of the largest history museums in the United States and one of the leading museums serving families. The Strong houses the world's largest and most comprehensive collection of historical materials related to play. The Strong museum is located an hour and a half (1 1/2 hours) from the campground.
