Great place to stay while we explored the various national parks. The kids loved the pool and the rec room. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Old but it looks like they are doing some upgrades. The staff where nice and helpful. In given us a list of things to do in the area. It's was right next to the highway and every trucker that came through kept hit that Jake brakes.

Friendliness = 10/10 Excellent! Very welcoming. Cleanliness = 10/10 Excellent! Amenities = 10/10 Excellent! The only reason I rated an 8 is because if recommending to friends I’d state that it’s right off a hwy that can be loud. Otherwise was great for us. Thank you.

Lovely setting in the trees. Restrooms clean and warm. Proprietors very friendly and helpful. We had a problem with one of our tires, and they gave us a good shop recommendation and offered to help if needed. That was really appreciated!

Camping in the trees was such a pleasant way to start and end my day. The facility and grounds are very nicely maintained. Thad and Renay were so nice and very helpful with whatever questions I had. The location itself was extremely convenient for me to visit The Mammoth Site, Wind Cave National Park, and especially the Wildlife Loop in Custer State Park .

This or first time staying at a KOA campground, and were very very happy with our choice. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. The bathrooms were clean and the kids loved the game room! We will definitely stay at KOA again.

What a surprisingly beautiful, well kept haven. I never expect too much from a KOA….except a place to rest our weary bones after travel, but this particular one is a true gem. You can feel the pride and ownership in the property and the demeanor of the welcoming crew. This is a special spot run by remarkable people who CARE. Our short stay turned into wishing for more time here. Thank you deeply

The office staff kindly guided us to nearby tourist attractions and even lit a bonfire in the evening, so we had a warm and enjoyable stay. The bathroom and shower room were also very clean. Thank you for your kindness.

I've stayed here a few times now. The campground is always clean and quiet. They provide several activities for people to do during their stay.

All of the personnel I encountered were very friendly and helpful. The pool is beautiful and I was given the closest tent site to the bathrooms which I appreciated.

All employees were very helpful and accommodating. Campsite and bathroom/facilities were clean. Nice added amenities with mini golf, pool, and game room. Perfect spot to stay for hot air balloon festival!

This was the best KOA I have ever stayed at. The employees went out of their way to help us when we were stranded due to a broken down motorcycle. The facilities were well maintained, and all the amenities were wonderful. I highly recommend staying at the Hot Springs/Black Hills KOA!

Camping with a tent. I'm glad they put us in trees but would have preferred being closer to the shower/bathrooms. It was very nice and quiet despite the bike noise, not as bad as the trees absorbed the loud motors.

Terrific facility! Everything was top-notch quality. Clean, accessible restrooms, showers, great pebble gravel sites for tents, good fire rings & tables, firewood available on site, a NICE pool & lounge chairs with shade available. A well stocked convienence store. The dog park is roomy & well laid out. The minature golf course is fun! A BIG Shout out for the FOOD from the Kitchen� A decent Piz

Poor design. Tent campers need to walk a long ways thru other campsites to get to bathrooms. Cannot drive to bathroom because no parking space there. Rv sites are close to public bathroom, which doesn’t make sense.

Wonderful and clean campground, the facilities were all clean and well maintained as well. The staff was lovely, everyone was so kind and accommodating! My kids had a blast with the pool, playground and mini golf! One of the best camp grounds we've been to!

Very friendly staff/owners. I felt extremely welcomed at the moment I arrived until I departed. A breakfast (for a fee) was provided if desired. Cooked on an outdoor grill with covered eating area. Excellent meal. I was camping in a tent and did not swim but a lot of families were in the pool and it looked like they were having a great time. I would definitely stay here again.

Really loved this campground. The tent sites are wooded so you have some privacy. Loved the amenities of hot breakfast, pool and mini-golf. The staff were so nice too!

We camped amongst the cedars. I did donate blood to the local population of mosquitos so bring bug spray. The June morning was crisp and an amazing sunrise. I would stay again.

Very clean, they make pizza at night and breakfast in the morning. Both very good. Very friendly owners. They even delivered the pizza to our tent!

I stayed One night in a tent camping site. Overall the entire campground was laid out well - the 10 sites were scattered nicely in a group of evergreens, and the sites were spacious. Would definitely stay again

We enjoyed our stay here. We had a beautiful tent site overlooking some rolling hills and a pond. The store is well stocked and hot breakfast and dinner was available to purchase for those that didn’t feel like cooking.

This is one of our "most favorite" KOA's, it's always on our short list & makes it an easy choice for where to stop as we're driving through. It has now repeatedly turned into this being at least 2-3 days of break time off the road. The nicest staff, a yummy breakfast make this a perfect starting point for a relaxing day at the KOA or as a starting point for a day of adventure in the Black Hills. Clean cabins and amenities, a good variety of rv sites as well as tent sites make this an easy choice.

We stayed at Hot Springs / Black Hills SD KOA 12-16 July, in our 5th wheel. It was 100+ degrees every day yet the power to the RV sites remained on at this pretty full campground. Almost everyone had their A/C units on full blast. Sites are pretty level for mostly gravel roads and sites some sites we well shaded, Pool was being used by many. We made our reservation a week prior so we could receive forwarded mail that arrived and was handed to us directly. Being full timers for over 8 years we stop at a lot of campgrounds and quite a few KOA's at that, This staff was Amazing and really enjoyed what they were doing and it showed. Kudos to Carol and Scott, Yvonne and Lauren & Zeze and last but not least, Jheri who was making wonderful made to order breakfast platers when we departed. Thanks for going out of your way, every day, we relly enjoyed our stay.

Great store with a little bit everything in it. The workers where phenomenal and helped in any way possible and offered fantastic places to visit during the holiday. Laundry facility was perfect. Lots of activities for the family. Pool and pool area was clean!! Would definitely stay here again!!
