Perfect again! We love staying in the cabin at your KOA in Hot Springs! Our kids (ages 5 and 1) have the biggest smiles when we visit and love exploring the grounds. Thank you so much for the wonderful time! Great staff, fun playground, excellent location, clean and comfortable cabin. Highly recommended!

We stayed in one of the deluxe cabins. We enjoyed watching the wildlife in the area. We saw deer, rabbits, turkeys and lots of birds. The owners are very friendly and accomodating. We'll be back!

A nice spot with the privacy and shade of trees, away from the city. We stayed one night in a cabin without kids; would be fun to bring our kids next time. Has plenty of things to do and it's close to all the sights of the Black Hills. Wish the cabin rates were more affordable during the summer season, but you are getting a nice warm shower and all the amenities compared to some cabins!

This is our 4th Stay here. We like the location and the price we pay. We get way more than what we pay for. We plan to come back as often as we can. Cabin is always a great option for us.

I came back to the area I visited 40 years ago The KOA was great Friendly staff the surroundings were peaceful and clean I liked the Turkeys visiting the camp with youngins I hated to go but I’ll be back Thanks for a memorable visit

Enjoyed my stay immensely even though the temperatures were very hot. I compliment Tessa and Mike to make special arrangements to place me in a cabin with a/c, even though I was tent camping. My stay was pleasant and peaceful and Cheryl makes mean pancakes. Thank you all

The BIG thing is "What Do You Want?" . If you want to be close to the major attraction of the Black Hills or around this is NOT the best KOA for you. It is located far south and it come with a price of more time and gas. But you look for peace and tranquility. Great Spot. It's in the Black Hills, it's calm, quiet, small town near side. Good amenities. Relax and enjoy. Good KOA, special location.

Nice and quiet had good shade for the cabin but fridge was dirty inside and looks if the floor in the cabin could’ve been mopped. staff was friendly and very helpful.

Loved the call to check on us earlier/because we were late checkin.Stayed @ different KOA Deluxe Cabin previous night & this KOA left a little to be desired. It was cheaper than previous night-we were expecting the same high quality and this was just not as nice.Also, every window in cabin was unlocked when we arrived & one had broken/wouldn't lock. Cabin was not level/floor slanted.

We absolutely loved the campground, the location, staff, and the area around it. We discovered that the campground is under new ownership and is working on several updates and improvements. That being said, we would like to see the showers being updated high on the list. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning. Thank you to the friendly people who welcomed us, you all were wonderful.

SO HAPPY. Very nice facility, well taken care of. Cleanest, nicest bathroom I've experienced in all the KOAs I've stayed at. Lovely staff, very friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be back. Bravo guys.

All the hotels in the area were booked so we booked a camping cabin at Hot Springs SD/Black Hills KOA. We had a wonderful time. Todd and Vicky who checked us in were very personable, knowledgeable about the area, and helpful and we truly enjoyed our stay because of them. We enjoyed the fire pit and the breakfast was terrific. We would definitely stay here again!

We loved the mini golf, breakfast on-site, and the pool. We only had one night in Hot Springs, but it was nice to be out of town with all the construction. The cabin had a few giant spiders on the exterior, but the inside seemed spider free! Very friendly staff.

Great location! Nice clean campground. Friendly staff and breakfast was good. Pet Friendly. Three issues with cabin #74: (1) did not see that we needed to provide our own linens. Luckily, we "rented" them. Suggestion: charge more and provide the linens like other KOA's. (2) Bed was HARD as a rock and (3) door handle broke and my husband got locked in the cabin. They did fix it quickly. :)

Comfortable clean cabin for 2. AC worked perfectly. Close, clean roomy bathroom/shower area. Didn’t use the pool but it looked great. I enjoyed the front porch swing.

When we arrived we were greeted very warmly. Bathrooms were clean, breakfast was delicious. We enjoyed the 2 nights we stayed in the beautiful scenic camp. Love this KOA!!!

Family of 4 adults, 2 kids and 3 dogs and our stay was September 9, 2023 to October 8, 2023. All utilities were still on and working great. The site we stayed in was #18 which was a gravel pull through. The hosts and their family were very helpful, friendly and great! The laundry room was good but due to us being a large family we went into Hot Springs (short drive) and used the Hot Springs Laundromat, and it was great. Hot Springs has everything you need but a bit pricier due to the touristy nature. We used the dog park (which was great f/the dogs to run), mini-golf and playground. Pool was closed to being off-season. You can purchase firewood at the front office, and they will deliver to site and also cleaned out all pits early in the morning (had never seen that before). We will definitely stay here again should we be traveling through.

Stayed here in September 2023. The cabin was clean, and the breakfast served was very good. Staff were friendly. It was nice having breakfast at the campground as options nearby are limited.
