Campground was clean and extremely pretty. Nestled in Ponderosa Pines. We only met one of the owners, but he was super helpful with suggestions on what to do in the area. Would highly recommended this location!

Charming spot! Loved being tucked in the woods while still close and convenient to the highway. 3 laps of the grounds was a mile too so it was perfect for my morning runs too.

Great customer service . The site that we were assigned was to small, they let us pick one that would accommodate our RV. Very well kept bathrooms and cute general store with a little bit of everything. We will be back there again to stay.

We stayed 5 nights. The owners were pleasant and very helpful. Though it was obvious the camp is older it was clear the owners (newer owners) are working hard to spruce it up. Most importantly for my wife the bathrooms are very clean and well kept.

Great place to stay, lots for your children to do. Also the Hot Springs area has several must see attractions including the Hilltop school museum and the wooly mammoth dig. The park also has a very friendly and helpful staff. We will definitely be staying at this RV park in the future.

We loved this park. Was not crowded at all because we stayed for 5 days in late September and early October. Park has trees so it feels more like camping than a boring gravel lot. Wild turkeys everyday. Very clean and great staff. Very helpful. We brought our e-bikes and can drive many places for trail heads. Could have stayed a couple of more days. Don’t miss the mammoth site - really good

We LOVE this KOA. Friendly staff and a lovely setting are a recipe for a great experience - especially in the slower seasons. The calm, relaxing nature of this stay was just what we needed. The only "ding" I would give it, purely because of the lateness of the season, is the pool was already drained, and with a late summer heatwave of 95 degrees it would have been a welcome respite. Great place!!!

It’s a nice place. Our site with as big of camper we had could’ve been a little more even. WiFi is maybe kind of deal. But overall I would recommend staying here.

Nice trees! Clean, attractive restroom! Check-in easy & very helpful with listening to my preferences then giving me ideas of places I’d want to visit! Only negative is parking pad is VERY unlevel!! (Also hated the flying bugs, but that’s nothing you can control! LOL)

Well maintained campground with shaded sites and an excellent layout. Very convenient to town of Hot Springs. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend for a very pleasant stay.

General condition of the park was above average and the office workers were very friendly and helpful with information about the area. We were in a pull through site which was nice except we had no shade but other sites did. The park is next to a busy HWY so expect road noise from trucks. There was a propane BBQ at our site but it was pretty dirty and uninviting to cook on so we didn't use it.

Absolutely LOVE this KOA. The campground itself is spacious and beautiful, well maintained and has all the amenities you might want. The employees are pleasant and knowledgeable about the area. I kind of felt like family! I love this place and feel that finding it was a huge stroke of luck. I'll be back!

The hosts were wonderful! Bathrooms were very clean. We appreciated that they had propane to refill our RV tank. Few overhead lights allowed us to view the starry night.

The campground was well kept, and clean. I spoke with one of the owners he was very friendly. They have been working on some updates and it showed. The camping spots are set up nicely. I would definitely return.

We had a great weekend celebrating our anniversary, at your resort. Love the pool and all the games for the whole family. We were also able to use the grill near the pool to cook for our family who was there to celebrate with us. This is a very nice wooded camp ground with roomy pull through sites that made for easy set up. Thanks to the friendly staff for the clean facilities, we'll be back!

Stayed 5 nights. Staff was so helpful. We have a 35 ft 5th wheel. Sites alittle short. Had breakfast which was great. Restrooms were nice and clean.

This is one of our "most favorite" KOA's, it's always on our short list & makes it an easy choice for where to stop as we're driving through. It has now repeatedly turned into this being at least 2-3 days of break time off the road. The nicest staff, a yummy breakfast make this a perfect starting point for a relaxing day at the KOA or as a starting point for a day of adventure in the Black Hills. Clean cabins and amenities, a good variety of rv sites as well as tent sites make this an easy choice.

We stayed at Hot Springs / Black Hills SD KOA 12-16 July, in our 5th wheel. It was 100+ degrees every day yet the power to the RV sites remained on at this pretty full campground. Almost everyone had their A/C units on full blast. Sites are pretty level for mostly gravel roads and sites some sites we well shaded, Pool was being used by many. We made our reservation a week prior so we could receive forwarded mail that arrived and was handed to us directly. Being full timers for over 8 years we stop at a lot of campgrounds and quite a few KOA's at that, This staff was Amazing and really enjoyed what they were doing and it showed. Kudos to Carol and Scott, Yvonne and Lauren & Zeze and last but not least, Jheri who was making wonderful made to order breakfast platers when we departed. Thanks for going out of your way, every day, we relly enjoyed our stay.

Great store with a little bit everything in it. The workers where phenomenal and helped in any way possible and offered fantastic places to visit during the holiday. Laundry facility was perfect. Lots of activities for the family. Pool and pool area was clean!! Would definitely stay here again!!
