Clean and tidy and everything you want in a campground was there from propane fills to the sites themselves and the restrooms.

My stay was very nice. Quiet, barely had any highway noise. The owls were enjoyable. Very close to many of the attractions nearby. I prefer this KOA instead of Rapid City KOA. It’s so windy at that location. Staff was very helpful and ensured I was close to bathroom. My doggies loved the grassy enclosure dog park. They both were able to run and chase away the zoomies �� Rhonda

Before our arrival I spoke to the manager there. He was very helpful on what site would fit us an easy in and out to leave in the morning. It's a very clean campground with a nice canine dog park

Thad was a great host. Very personable and helpful. The whole park was laid out well and was clean. Even the dog park was clean. The hot water in the shower was wonderful!

The lady where we checked in was exceptionally nice. The site leaned to one side and was short for our rig.

We love this spot! The managers are top notch and have some homey traditions - love the communal fire pit especially. Thank you for an awesome stay!

Friendly owners and very accommodating. Mens shower heads need replacing though. Womans showers were very slow draining. Great location to get to Rapid City and Mt Rushmore.

Nice people, nice park. Their daily breakfast was awesome ! Easy access to everything around there. We had a nice stay for 4 nights.

We stayed overnight and enjoyed our experience at Hot Springs SD/Black Hills KOA. The campground is well maintained. The bathrooms and showers were clean. The staff are great and very accommodating. Thanks for taking good care of us.

We love this KOA. Nestled in the pine trees, this KOA is picturesque of the Black Hills Area in South Dakota. Close to amazing attractions like Wind Cave National Park, The Mammoth Site, and Evans Plunge, we stay at this KOA for our quick trip vacation. Our kids love the playground and mini golf (both free!). The staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend this KOA.

Really loved this place and the family who hosted us. Lovely trees, level sites, cute dog park, nice camp store and all sorts of extras like a Rec-room & dog bath. I’d love to come back in warmer weather and stay a week. There’s so much to do in this area and this KOA is the perfect homebase.

I love this place! Very convenient to day trips throughout the region, and staff members go out of their way to be helpful. Expect a morning visit to your site from wild turkeys!

Everyone was exceptionally accommodating! We especially liked the doggy park! We even had pizza delivered and ate breakfast prepared by KOA staff. Excellent stay.

Great staff/host, very friendly and helpful with information on the area and campground. Well-maintained campground and facilities. Clean and loved being able to use dog wash station near laundry room. Convenient to Custer State Park, Mammoth Fossil Discovery/Museum, Needles Highway, and Crazy Horse Memorial.

It is nestled on a beautiful property easily accessed from the hwy. The hosts are welcoming and helpful. Sites are spacious and level. There are wonderful amenities to entertain the whole family.

We had a 2 night stay to visit Jewel Cave, Mount Rushmore and Custer State Park. It was a very nice and comfortable campground.

The gentleman who checked us in took time to give us all kinds of good information about the area. Weekends they offered a delicious breakfast for sale. Good clean bathrooms and showers. We had a great stay.

This is one of our "most favorite" KOA's, it's always on our short list & makes it an easy choice for where to stop as we're driving through. It has now repeatedly turned into this being at least 2-3 days of break time off the road. The nicest staff, a yummy breakfast make this a perfect starting point for a relaxing day at the KOA or as a starting point for a day of adventure in the Black Hills. Clean cabins and amenities, a good variety of rv sites as well as tent sites make this an easy choice.

We stayed at Hot Springs / Black Hills SD KOA 12-16 July, in our 5th wheel. It was 100+ degrees every day yet the power to the RV sites remained on at this pretty full campground. Almost everyone had their A/C units on full blast. Sites are pretty level for mostly gravel roads and sites some sites we well shaded, Pool was being used by many. We made our reservation a week prior so we could receive forwarded mail that arrived and was handed to us directly. Being full timers for over 8 years we stop at a lot of campgrounds and quite a few KOA's at that, This staff was Amazing and really enjoyed what they were doing and it showed. Kudos to Carol and Scott, Yvonne and Lauren & Zeze and last but not least, Jheri who was making wonderful made to order breakfast platers when we departed. Thanks for going out of your way, every day, we relly enjoyed our stay.

Great store with a little bit everything in it. The workers where phenomenal and helped in any way possible and offered fantastic places to visit during the holiday. Laundry facility was perfect. Lots of activities for the family. Pool and pool area was clean!! Would definitely stay here again!!
