Enjoyed our brief stay, would stay longer based on our experience. Staff all were great, lots of amenities, even cooked to order breakfast is available.

What a well run place! All facilities were clean and the area was quiet. The showers had great water pressure and are free. The pool was wonderful and usually not too busy. They provide breakfast in the mornings (at cost) and pizza delivery to your site! The general store has everything you could need. Great location for exploring parks or Hot Springs. Would love to come back!

Although we only stayed here for one night, we have stayed here in the past. The location is very convenient to many attractions in the area such as Mount Rushmore, Crazy horse memorial, Custard park, jewels Cave and many more. We enjoyed our stay, short as it was. Thank you for your hospitality.

This was our FIRST location as a new 5th Wheel owner. The staff and other campers were so helpful, pleasant, and down right old school neighborly. Sharing their tips and tricks, offering assistance definitely adjusted our learning curve and removed the stress so we could have a fun, relaxing 4th of July!! We will DEFINITELY be returning often.

It's a nice campground with trees for shade. Pool, breakfast and the bathrooms were good. Dakota is incredible and knows the surrounding area and has passion for the KOA. We appreciated him.

Shaded end space next to a cabin for our 4 night stay. Busy, fun camp. Pool and group dining area got lots of use. Nice gas fire ring on paved patio for evening gatherings. Clean restrooms/showers. Site on slight incline, couldn’t get level. Friendly staff very helpful in extending our stay and assisting in tracking and delivering an express mail package. Great base location for exploring area.

I've stayed here before so I knew what to expect, nothing but the best. It was about 3 years ago and they've done so many more improvements to the campground. The women's bathroom is outstanding. The grounds are up kept and clean.

Loved this KOA! We loved the smaller scale of the property, lovely staff, lots of amenities for the kids, and lots of beautiful trees for the hammocks. Giant toad lived at our site #8

The staff at the main office were friendly and knowledgeable. The store is stocked full of necessities and interesting stuff. Everyone working there knows the workings of the facility and things to do in the Black Hills.

Sites not level, and water, electric and sewer difficult to access without extensions. Our original assigned site was so tight we wouldn’t even try to pull in it. Even if we had we would not have been able to open all slides. Luckily the staff was able to move us. Some nice shaded sites that would accommodate smaller RV’s. Staff welcoming.

Everyone was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Our tow car broke down and the owner drove an hour each way to bring us home. Wow, that's above and beyond! We loved the Black Hills and hope to return in the future, meantime we'll send our RV friends.

Great stay. The owners have worked extremely hard to make the park even better than it has been previously. One example would include the addition of sewer hookups to all of the sites. They assisted me with any questions that I may have had. Will definitely stay there again when in the area.

Stay was great. Only reason for rating is they switched our site which made it so we couldnt put out our awning due to trees. Otherwise, staff is GREAT and the amenities werent bad either. The playground is quite outdated but my 3 yr old loved it anyways.

The staff at the office were extremely helpful in making my reservation. I have a great campsite. The night I arrived there was a BBQ and live music. The pool is huge. The cabins and tent sites are peaceful. Terrific staff! The campground is very friendly towards dogs. The is a great campground, and I would stay again. Thanks for another fantastic KOA experience!!

The grounds, restrooms & showers were kept up nicely & the spot we had was somewhat secluded which was nice. The putt-putt golf could use some attention. The camp personell were very hospital.

Arrived on a Monday pm. Departed on the following Friday am. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great park. Very friendly staff. Excellent breakfasts. Only "complaint" is that cable TV reception was poor. Very snowy. Only received 5 channels. Could only watch two due to poor reception.

Great staff with amazing personalities. Clean bathrooms, very quiet and spacious sites. However, the site we stayed in was nowhere close to being level and took extra time to position and set up our camper. Loved being able to have dinner and breakfast (for a small fee) right at the campground.

This is one of our "most favorite" KOA's, it's always on our short list & makes it an easy choice for where to stop as we're driving through. It has now repeatedly turned into this being at least 2-3 days of break time off the road. The nicest staff, a yummy breakfast make this a perfect starting point for a relaxing day at the KOA or as a starting point for a day of adventure in the Black Hills. Clean cabins and amenities, a good variety of rv sites as well as tent sites make this an easy choice.

We stayed at Hot Springs / Black Hills SD KOA 12-16 July, in our 5th wheel. It was 100+ degrees every day yet the power to the RV sites remained on at this pretty full campground. Almost everyone had their A/C units on full blast. Sites are pretty level for mostly gravel roads and sites some sites we well shaded, Pool was being used by many. We made our reservation a week prior so we could receive forwarded mail that arrived and was handed to us directly. Being full timers for over 8 years we stop at a lot of campgrounds and quite a few KOA's at that, This staff was Amazing and really enjoyed what they were doing and it showed. Kudos to Carol and Scott, Yvonne and Lauren & Zeze and last but not least, Jheri who was making wonderful made to order breakfast platers when we departed. Thanks for going out of your way, every day, we relly enjoyed our stay.

Great store with a little bit everything in it. The workers where phenomenal and helped in any way possible and offered fantastic places to visit during the holiday. Laundry facility was perfect. Lots of activities for the family. Pool and pool area was clean!! Would definitely stay here again!!
