Incredible! Wonderfully friendly and easy to talk to staff, extremely helpful and kind. Beautiful area. Clean cabin. Pet friendly. Very accommodating. Good amount of trees for shade. Nice and quiet. Peaceful! Our second stay. Would do it again!

Stayed one night on our way home. So didn’t spend a lot of time there! But cabin was comfortable, had tv, and thankfully air conditioning! Bathrooms nice and clean.

Stayed in cabin. It was located a 2-3 minute walk from office, shower/washroom, and laundry building (all In one). Cabin had AC and water close by a definite plus. Fire pit was right beside parking pad; might have been a problem if we could have had a fire. Under fire ban during our visit. Nice pool, some deck chairs. Breakfast available (extra), also pizza menu. Easy access, just east of town.

We love staying at the Hot Springs KOA. The family that oversee it and staff are extremely nice, helpful, and go above and beyond. I accidentally scheduled the wrong days for our recent stay there and they made switching around the dates and cabin situation a breeze. So appreciative of the customer service, food they offer, and overall campground cleanliness :)

Very clean cabin and welcoming staff. We had ou A/C unit go out and they had a replacement almost immediately! The kids loved all the extras like the pool and mini golf. Will definitely stay again in the future.

It was our first time staying at a KOA and we had the best experience. The cabin was lovely and the staff was top-notch. If you are visiting Hot Springs, I highly recommend you stay at the KOA.

Although a few of the blinds had broken slats, which I forgot to mention to the staff because they would not have know since the blinds were all pulled open, the cabin was clean. Staff was cleaning & doing maintenance on the grounds on a daily basis. I was impressed with my first KOA stay! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

For the price I really expected it to be cleaner. The bathroom was pretty gross, the shower curtain didn't fit the shower at all so water got on the floor. The AC in the room didn't work. This should have cost no more than $70/night instead of $150.

Very nice new owners and hosts. Nicole was very friendly and helpful. Nice cabin, it did get chilly at night though. Very enjoyable stay.

The staff was very helpful and polite. Our cabin 41 needs some attention. The smoke detector was missing half of it, nail sticking out of the side rail of the bed which scratched my girlfriend’s leg, no instructions on how to use the heater. Beautiful setting and we’ll return some day.

This is our 4th stay here. The grill was a little less than desirable but after bringing it to the staffs attention the promptly replaced the grill. Overall the stay was very pleasant. We like the location as it's close to most of what we want to see in the Black Hills. We will be returning in September for the Buffalo Round up.

Nice cabin but there was a group of kids camping behind our cabin. They were very loud at night running and screaming so that made it hard to get to sleep.

I came early in the season and it was rainy and cold. The staff was very helpful in moving me to a cabin for the coldest night (I was in a tent - brr!). Overall, the campground was well cared for, in a convenient area, and staffed with some very sweet people! I’ll definitely stay again next time I find myself in the area.

Thank you so much for the heater! It made our stay a lot easier. Also, thanks so much for letting us stay an extra day. We really enjoyed the cabin and enjoyed hiking in the state and national park and forest areas.

Loved that the cabins were nestled in the trees. Staff was super friendly and welcoming, however we had a hard time checking in at 2pm because the office was closed until 4pm. Clean bathrooms, but the air freshener was overpowering. Quiet, easy access to Hot Springs Town. Cabin was fine and had heat and AC.

Perfect again! We love staying in the cabin at your KOA in Hot Springs! Our kids (ages 5 and 1) have the biggest smiles when we visit and love exploring the grounds. Thank you so much for the wonderful time! Great staff, fun playground, excellent location, clean and comfortable cabin. Highly recommended!

We stayed in one of the deluxe cabins. We enjoyed watching the wildlife in the area. We saw deer, rabbits, turkeys and lots of birds. The owners are very friendly and accomodating. We'll be back!

A nice spot with the privacy and shade of trees, away from the city. We stayed one night in a cabin without kids; would be fun to bring our kids next time. Has plenty of things to do and it's close to all the sights of the Black Hills. Wish the cabin rates were more affordable during the summer season, but you are getting a nice warm shower and all the amenities compared to some cabins!

This is one of our "most favorite" KOA's, it's always on our short list & makes it an easy choice for where to stop as we're driving through. It has now repeatedly turned into this being at least 2-3 days of break time off the road. The nicest staff, a yummy breakfast make this a perfect starting point for a relaxing day at the KOA or as a starting point for a day of adventure in the Black Hills. Clean cabins and amenities, a good variety of rv sites as well as tent sites make this an easy choice.

We stayed at Hot Springs / Black Hills SD KOA 12-16 July, in our 5th wheel. It was 100+ degrees every day yet the power to the RV sites remained on at this pretty full campground. Almost everyone had their A/C units on full blast. Sites are pretty level for mostly gravel roads and sites some sites we well shaded, Pool was being used by many. We made our reservation a week prior so we could receive forwarded mail that arrived and was handed to us directly. Being full timers for over 8 years we stop at a lot of campgrounds and quite a few KOA's at that, This staff was Amazing and really enjoyed what they were doing and it showed. Kudos to Carol and Scott, Yvonne and Lauren & Zeze and last but not least, Jheri who was making wonderful made to order breakfast platers when we departed. Thanks for going out of your way, every day, we relly enjoyed our stay.

Great store with a little bit everything in it. The workers where phenomenal and helped in any way possible and offered fantastic places to visit during the holiday. Laundry facility was perfect. Lots of activities for the family. Pool and pool area was clean!! Would definitely stay here again!!
