#35 badly slopped. Grounds looked like the property had been neglected for a few years trash in open sites, mowing needed, old or broken signage (front entry drive way), just general repair and upkeep seemed poor.

This is a great campground in the perfect location to see Wind Cave National Park and Mount Rushmore. The owners are delightful and will give you great advice on visiting the area! Be sure to ask if you want the maximum experience!

Had a great time. Quite, clean and employees very friendly. Thad had great information in an Agate bed you can pick at for free. Thank you for that. We will definitely be back, we love this area.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The kids loved the pizza delivered to our cabin door. The campground and bathrooms were clean and quiet. We would definitely stay here again.

I loved the cabin, it was just what was needed and had such pretty views, thank you :) Couple of things: during the reservation process and confirmation call I was told there was AC/small refrigerator/heater/TV. None of those things were provided, except AC. Had to pay for coffee (refills available)/breakfast. Coffee/food was awful and had to be thrown away. Had a nice water jug stolen.

Nice park. This was the second time I’ve stayed there There was live music and burgers and hot dogs on the patio the night I arrived. My site was close enough to listen. Very helpful and friendly staff

The site was clean thr employees were super friendly and helpful. This is our 3rd summer we've stayed at this site we live it. We cant wait to come back next summer.

We love the location. It’s in the Black Hills. It’s a perfect location—close to many of the sites. Many attractions are within 30-45 minutes of the campground. The restrooms are super clean and the staff is friendly and helpful.

It was so nice when we walked in and Carol told us all about the things in the area to do. We were on a limited time schedule. Jerry prepared breakfast for us nice and early, so we could be on our way. That really help us out. He was super helpful. He is an awesome person. Can't say enough good about this place . We will be back.

The site 54 was hard to level up. The pool was dirty with debris. Not really a fan of resistance that are unkempt. Maybe put up a fence to hide it. We did like the woodsy atmosphere .

We had a beautiful full hookup patio spot that was at the end of a row with lots of elbow room. The grill only had one working burner and had not been cleaned but the rest of the site was good. Nice quiet park and nice breakfast.

It was great and the staff was fantastic to ask questions about. We had an absolutely terrific time there. Definitely a place that I would go back to again.

This is my first time at a KOA actually. The owner and staff were very friendly and super helpful. The store was open for a majority of the day which is really nice. The staff will deliver a pizza to your site and make breakfast in the morning. Would definitely stay here again.

Scott and Carol were very kind and caring throughout our stay. We had a cooler with an adapter that would not fit properly in the campsite electronic socket, so they lent us an extension cord for the night which was a lifesaver for our groceries. The restroom and showers were clean and well kept. I would definitely recommend this campground to everyone.

The staff was amazing!!! The dryers need some attention- we had spent almost $6 for one load and it still wasn’t dry. Our site wasn’t very level and we had a dead bird right next the table.

Great relaxing area. Near enough to all the wonderful natural features of SD and monuments yet far enough to feel it was a separate vacation.

This is not a nice RV park. We were situated next to private property that had run down RVs and junk in the yard. That was the view outside our window for $80/night. Sites are close together and just a dirt pad. Somewhat unlevel, but we made it work. Our neighbors were right up against our site and left their dog barking on a tether outside. Would not stay again, as it is way overpriced.

This is one of our "most favorite" KOA's, it's always on our short list & makes it an easy choice for where to stop as we're driving through. It has now repeatedly turned into this being at least 2-3 days of break time off the road. The nicest staff, a yummy breakfast make this a perfect starting point for a relaxing day at the KOA or as a starting point for a day of adventure in the Black Hills

Great campground nestled in a pine tree landscape. Staff A+, owner AAA+. Had issue with tow rig owner drove me to town to buy parts. Veey hilly and have to use blocks to get level but owner is working on solution. Breakfast is an A+ idea

Friendly staff Good place for trailers to pull in to spend the night And families that don’t have younger children- Swimming pool fence section was broken Tent site 11 was very uneven except for the gravel pad for the tent Could hear the jake brakes from the Hwy often

Clean cabins and amenities, a good variety of rv sites as well as tent sites make this an easy choice.

We stayed at Hot Springs / Black Hills SD KOA 12-16 July, in our 5th wheel. It was 100+ degrees every day yet the power to the RV sites remained on at this pretty full campground. Almost everyone had their A/C units on full blast. Sites are pretty level for mostly gravel roads and sites some sites we well shaded, Pool was being used by many. We made our reservation a week prior so we could receive forwarded mail that arrived and was handed to us directly. Being full timers for over 8 years we stop at a lot of campgrounds and quite a few KOA's at that, This staff was Amazing and really enjoyed what they were doing and it showed. Kudos to Carol and Scott, Yvonne and Lauren & Zeze and last but not least, Jheri who was making wonderful made to order breakfast platers when we departed. Thanks for going out of your way, every day, we relly enjoyed our stay.

Great store with a little bit everything in it. The workers where phenomenal and helped in any way possible and offered fantastic places to visit during the holiday. Laundry facility was perfect. Lots of activities for the family. Pool and pool area was clean!! Would definitely stay here again!!
