I stayed One night in a tent camping site. Overall the entire campground was laid out well - the 10 sites were scattered nicely in a group of evergreens, and the sites were spacious. Would definitely stay again

We had a wonderful stay. The staff are so friendly and helpful. They delivered firewood to our site. They made Memorial Day weekend fun with all their planned activities for adults and children. They had live entertainment - wonderful music! We will definitely stay here again and will mention to our friends what a great KOA at Hot Springs SD there is! Thank you!

Although a few of the blinds had broken slats, which I forgot to mention to the staff because they would not have know since the blinds were all pulled open, the cabin was clean. Staff was cleaning & doing maintenance on the grounds on a daily basis. I was impressed with my first KOA stay! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Staff was AMAZING. However, the location is too close to the highway to want to come back. Sites were quite small. The fire pits were terrible. We were hoping for a slightly larger pit with a flop-over grill, instead there was what appeared to be an old tractor rim for a fire pit with no ventilation to help wood burn and mitigate smoke.

We enjoyed our stay here. We had a beautiful tent site overlooking some rolling hills and a pond. The store is well stocked and hot breakfast and dinner was available to purchase for those that didn’t feel like cooking.

For the price I really expected it to be cleaner. The bathroom was pretty gross, the shower curtain didn't fit the shower at all so water got on the floor. The AC in the room didn't work. This should have cost no more than $70/night instead of $150.

The staff was very helpful and polite. Our cabin 41 needs some attention. The smoke detector was missing half of it, nail sticking out of the side rail of the bed which scratched my girlfriend’s leg, no instructions on how to use the heater. Beautiful setting and we’ll return some day.

Very nice management at check in! Loved our space plenty of room for our 45ft big rig and full size truck. Nice trees and setting. Close to Hot Springs town and Wind Cave Park

One of our favorite stop during our trip to Michigan from Colorado and return in the fall. Great check in experience to roomy sites with trees, and plenty of areas to walk/run our labs was a bonus! To top it off the restrooms were very clean and store was well stocked. Looking forward to our return trip to stay again.

This is our 4th stay here. The grill was a little less than desirable but after bringing it to the staffs attention the promptly replaced the grill. Overall the stay was very pleasant. We like the location as it's close to most of what we want to see in the Black Hills. We will be returning in September for the Buffalo Round up.

Nice cabin but there was a group of kids camping behind our cabin. They were very loud at night running and screaming so that made it hard to get to sleep.

Great customer services. Friendly and helpful staff. Bathrooms were clean and tidy. Showers were okay but the shower head was too short and was directed into the dry area and could not be adjusted. Rv site had some clay areas that require more gravel.

I came early in the season and it was rainy and cold. The staff was very helpful in moving me to a cabin for the coldest night (I was in a tent - brr!). Overall, the campground was well cared for, in a convenient area, and staffed with some very sweet people! I’ll definitely stay again next time I find myself in the area.

This is one of our "most favorite" KOA's, it's always on our short list & makes it an easy choice for where to stop as we're driving through. It has now repeatedly turned into this being at least 2-3 days of break time off the road. The nicest staff, a yummy breakfast make this a perfect starting point for a relaxing day at the KOA or as a starting point for a day of adventure in the Black Hills. Clean cabins and amenities, a good variety of rv sites as well as tent sites make this an easy choice.

We stayed at Hot Springs / Black Hills SD KOA 12-16 July, in our 5th wheel. It was 100+ degrees every day yet the power to the RV sites remained on at this pretty full campground. Almost everyone had their A/C units on full blast. Sites are pretty level for mostly gravel roads and sites some sites we well shaded, Pool was being used by many. We made our reservation a week prior so we could receive forwarded mail that arrived and was handed to us directly. Being full timers for over 8 years we stop at a lot of campgrounds and quite a few KOA's at that, This staff was Amazing and really enjoyed what they were doing and it showed. Kudos to Carol and Scott, Yvonne and Lauren & Zeze and last but not least, Jheri who was making wonderful made to order breakfast platers when we departed. Thanks for going out of your way, every day, we relly enjoyed our stay.

Great store with a little bit everything in it. The workers where phenomenal and helped in any way possible and offered fantastic places to visit during the holiday. Laundry facility was perfect. Lots of activities for the family. Pool and pool area was clean!! Would definitely stay here again!!
