One of the shadiest campgrounds I saw in the area. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Some of the sites are a little uneven, so be prepared for that

I really enjoyed my quiet, uneventful stay at the Hot Springs KOA. I sure will return in the future. The basketball court was a pleasant surprise, and I really enjoyed shooting hoops there. By the way, the basketball backboard is breaking up, thus needs a replacement.

We had a wonderful stay at Hot Springs SD/Black Hills KOA! The hosts were welcoming and helpful upon our arrival - would definitely recommend this KOA to any fellow travelers/campers!

Stayed one night on our way home. So didn’t spend a lot of time there! But cabin was comfortable, had tv, and thankfully air conditioning! Bathrooms nice and clean.

This was our 6th stop of our trip....so we were ready for a worry-free stay and that is exactly what it was. KOA Hot Springs was amazing and I highly recommend this Campsite for your next trip to Hot Springs, SD.

Very nice grounds! In hind site, we should have stayed at this facility our whole trip and just drove to see the sites. Enjoyed our overnight!

Nice park, friendly staff, and great breakfast. We liked our stay, just a couple of things that need to be addressed; pool isn’t working properly and isn’t very clean. There are not enough dog stations for dog doody, so there was a lot of dog crap all around.

It’s a very peaceful place to stay. We like the clean bathrooms and the clean campsites. I would recommend this campground to all that go to Hot Springs. They even have rabbits running around the sites. I told my husband that I could live right there.

Very nice, will choose you again. We were on sight 58. My only problem was the hookups are not conveniently located. They are too far forward, making it hard to reach, and necessary to disconnect the vehicle for a one night stay. Sewer connection was located for RVs with connections in the middles. Most trailers have connections at the rear.

Stayed in cabin. It was located a 2-3 minute walk from office, shower/washroom, and laundry building (all In one). Cabin had AC and water close by a definite plus. Fire pit was right beside parking pad; might have been a problem if we could have had a fire. Under fire ban during our visit. Nice pool, some deck chairs. Breakfast available (extra), also pizza menu. Easy access, just east of town.

We stayed in site 38. The potholes were 8 in deep making leveling a pain. Won't stay again.

What a well run place! All facilities were clean and the area was quiet. The showers had great water pressure and are free. The pool was wonderful and usually not too busy. They provide breakfast in the mornings (at cost) and pizza delivery to your site! The general store has everything you could need. Great location for exploring parks or Hot Springs. Would love to come back!

Although we only stayed here for one night, we have stayed here in the past. The location is very convenient to many attractions in the area such as Mount Rushmore, Crazy horse memorial, Custard park, jewels Cave and many more. We enjoyed our stay, short as it was. Thank you for your hospitality.

This is one of our "most favorite" KOA's, it's always on our short list & makes it an easy choice for where to stop as we're driving through. It has now repeatedly turned into this being at least 2-3 days of break time off the road. The nicest staff, a yummy breakfast make this a perfect starting point for a relaxing day at the KOA or as a starting point for a day of adventure in the Black Hills. Clean cabins and amenities, a good variety of rv sites as well as tent sites make this an easy choice.

We stayed at Hot Springs / Black Hills SD KOA 12-16 July, in our 5th wheel. It was 100+ degrees every day yet the power to the RV sites remained on at this pretty full campground. Almost everyone had their A/C units on full blast. Sites are pretty level for mostly gravel roads and sites some sites we well shaded, Pool was being used by many. We made our reservation a week prior so we could receive forwarded mail that arrived and was handed to us directly. Being full timers for over 8 years we stop at a lot of campgrounds and quite a few KOA's at that, This staff was Amazing and really enjoyed what they were doing and it showed. Kudos to Carol and Scott, Yvonne and Lauren & Zeze and last but not least, Jheri who was making wonderful made to order breakfast platers when we departed. Thanks for going out of your way, every day, we relly enjoyed our stay.

Great store with a little bit everything in it. The workers where phenomenal and helped in any way possible and offered fantastic places to visit during the holiday. Laundry facility was perfect. Lots of activities for the family. Pool and pool area was clean!! Would definitely stay here again!!
