We love Hot Springs KOA! Our cabin could’ve been cleaner. The AC filter was beyond dirty and there was some sticky goo on the floor. That being said, the new owners were there grilling burgers. What a great couple. The bathrooms & showers were always clean. We will absolutely stay here again!

Very nice laid out campground. Some of the lots are a bit on the close side but still nice spots with tree cover. Do yourself a favor and try their pizza it's awesome and reasonable. We opted for it when a storm rolled in a d took our bbq option away. Was not disappointed and delivered right to our site.

This was the best KOA I have ever stayed at. The employees went out of their way to help us when we were stranded due to a broken down motorcycle. The facilities were well maintained, and all the amenities were wonderful. I highly recommend staying at the Hot Springs/Black Hills KOA!

Everything was exceptional! We realize staffing was seasonal but we could not have encountered more helpful or knowledgeable people. Also, family friendly. Facilities were very clean. This is our best KOA so far.

Second time staying here was even better than the first and it was great the first time. It’s why we came back. It was a quick trip for us, but we can’t wait to go again when hopefully we have more time. It’s a beautiful place and they made our stay wonderful, including accommodating our late arrival.

Great campground, close to a lot of great places! Staff were very friendly and the pool and facilities were really nice. Would recommend anyone wanting to see the area there to stay.

Everyone at site was very helpful and friendly. Clean washroom etc. close to National Park and Hot Springs. Pizza and breakfast were yummy. BUT our site was so sloped that both front wheels were off the ground by feet not inches. And we were still not level. We moved rig trying to find at least a decent area with no luck. Looking around ours was not the only sloped site.

Camping with a tent. I'm glad they put us in trees but would have preferred being closer to the shower/bathrooms. It was very nice and quiet despite the bike noise, not as bad as the trees absorbed the loud motors.

The owners Thad and Nicole Weiss and family were very kind. Campground was well maintained; shower room was clean. Parking was easy. The owners retrieved my surge protector I had left at my site upon my departure and promised to send it to me in Mississippi. Big thanks to them!!

Very warm welcome- staff were exceptional at making you feel at home. Buildings, grounds, and pool were very clean and well maintained. Fire pit and Adirondack chairs were 5 stars. Our only suggestions are (1) corn hole needs new bags and (2) rec room needs cards and board games. We’ll definitely be staying again and recommending this KOA to ours!

Etwas in die Jahre gekommener campground. Duschen müssten renoviert werden, die sites unter schattigen Bäumen, aber teilweise sehr uneben. Mussten extrem ausgleichen. Die Elektrik sprang häufig raus,ebenso bei unseren Nachbarn. Waren nur für eine Nacht,deshalb ok. Strasse konnte man hören,aber erträglich

An older KOA, but a great one! Lots of shade, and cable TV that works :). Ours was fuzzy, but a young employee and his child fixed it quickly. The breakfast is awesome, and the WiFi works great. Clean restrooms & polite staff. We’ll return :). Thanks

Was an awesome spot easy to get in and out of lots of things to do a pizza delivered to camper. I would like to put a special thanks to Braden Weiss, when we got there he told us everything we needed to know about campsite and all the interesting things to do he even highlighted a map for us and told us how to get around road construction. Braden is a huge asset to KOA Thanks Braden for everything

AC in the cabin we rented could not keep up with the heat. It was hotter in the cabin than the 100 degrees outside. Staff was nice. They could blow the debris off the mini golf course.

Very nice sites (although they border on being too close together). Good shade in most cases from lovely pine trees. Pool; great but needs a deep clean in the edges. Overall - wonderful staff, campground, sites, pool, and activities that are nearby.

It's a pretty site, kept clean, refreshing pool, great staff. They came to our campsite and helped set up cable. They have breakfast, although we didn't participate in, we did get pizza they offer for dinner 2 separate evenings, it was very delicious, and they delivered. Great place to stay.

Stayed in cabin #2. Everything was great except for the horrible sewer smell outside all around the cabin. We couldn’t even use the deck or fire ring it was so strong.

Water points in the sites are extremely low for campers and you’ll have issues hooking up your water purifier and other gadgets. The pool is dirty as well. We woke up this morning and we don’t have water at our campsite. The lady at the front desk said they hit a water main and unknown when it’ll come back online. We were in the middle of a shower and washing dishes so we can leave

We are sorry about your experience. As our front desk shared we had a guest hit the waterline as they pulled out but it did not affect our community bathhouse or dish washing area. We had it up again in under an hour but understand your stay was deeply impacted. we hope your day got better!

This is a great place to stay! Very wooded! The staff is great and the breakfast is excellent! Very clean we will certainly be back again for a much longer stay!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The campsite was nicely shaded,making it comfortable to be outside. We did have to maneuver our slides and awning somewhat due to the trees ,but we're pleased with the sight. The only thing that we would recommend is that the pool had alot of debris and was a bit dirty, although the water was clear. Overall,we had a great stay

Loved this campground! Every site is in the trees. It’s very quiet and family friendly. The staff was extremely friendly and very kind. Enjoyed all the amenities from the pool, the rec room, large fire pit, poolside grill to order breakfasts, and much more! Will definitely be staying here again!

This is one of our "most favorite" KOA's, it's always on our short list & makes it an easy choice for where to stop as we're driving through. It has now repeatedly turned into this being at least 2-3 days of break time off the road. The nicest staff, a yummy breakfast make this a perfect starting point for a relaxing day at the KOA or as a starting point for a day of adventure in the Black Hills. Clean cabins and amenities, a good variety of rv sites as well as tent sites make this an easy choice.

We stayed at Hot Springs / Black Hills SD KOA 12-16 July, in our 5th wheel. It was 100+ degrees every day yet the power to the RV sites remained on at this pretty full campground. Almost everyone had their A/C units on full blast. Sites are pretty level for mostly gravel roads and sites some sites we well shaded, Pool was being used by many. We made our reservation a week prior so we could receive forwarded mail that arrived and was handed to us directly. Being full timers for over 8 years we stop at a lot of campgrounds and quite a few KOA's at that, This staff was Amazing and really enjoyed what they were doing and it showed. Kudos to Carol and Scott, Yvonne and Lauren & Zeze and last but not least, Jheri who was making wonderful made to order breakfast platers when we departed. Thanks for going out of your way, every day, we relly enjoyed our stay.

Great store with a little bit everything in it. The workers where phenomenal and helped in any way possible and offered fantastic places to visit during the holiday. Laundry facility was perfect. Lots of activities for the family. Pool and pool area was clean!! Would definitely stay here again!!
