The mens bathroom,showers DESPERATELY NEED UPGRADE,they are way to small, shower curtain rolled in at the bottom letting water out into the other areas. You can't properly get a good shower. Very hard to take a shower in a bathroom stall.

Lovely mostly treed park. Prepare to level though. Lovely extended breakfast offerings which was nice. Very friendly people. Must visit the local mammoth dig site. Closer to wind cave with Mt Rushmore and crazy horse memorial about an hour and change away. Great for base camp to see this areas many offerings.

Very friendly camp workers! Great location for us to stay and explore the area. We appreciated the dog park area to allow our pooch to get some zoomies out.

Staff went out of their way to make my 3 day stay over and above! Only issue was site 60 lacked reliable Wi-Fi (at least from my devices).

It did rain all weekend, but the staff was great! The campground is beautiful and has an intimate feel to it.

The staff were very nice. The place was very clean. What was not so nice was our picnic table was right next to the sewer connection for the site next to us. We were so close that our conversations outside were heard by our neighbors in thier trailer. Maybe 10' of space? Too cramped together. Won't go again. Good place for a new year shakedown though.

Very friendly staff! Park is attractive and wooded. Bathrooms looked spotless (just peeked in) and laundry is "okay." We would definitely stay here again. Well stocked store, too.

We really enjoyed the setting of the campground and the cabin was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were there just before the summer season began air was quiet but the excitement was building for the holiday and it was fun to hear about all of the activities that are planned for the kids

The staff were very friendly & helpful. The grounds & bathrooms were clean & well kept. We loved the beautiful trees and the fact it is a smaller campground then most. I will definitely be back.

Old but it looks like they are doing some upgrades. The staff where nice and helpful. In given us a list of things to do in the area. It's was right next to the highway and every trucker that came through kept hit that Jake brakes.

We had one night in a basic cabin. Cindy was very friendly and explained all the things which where available at the KOA. We bought some wood en put on the kampfire with colorfull sprinkels and saw the big flower moon in the sky. Restrooms where very clean. Showers had rubber floor to stand on that makes it safe to shower.

Our hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The grounds are well shaded by pine and juniper trees. Restrooms/showers clean. The only problem was I thought we would be closer to the site we wanted to see like Mt. Rushmore and Custer State Park. Well, the drive to those places was scenic, so that wasn't too bad.

We loved our stay here!!! We were on site 51 we had a concert slab, furniture and a propane tank. It’s a very clean campground, well stocked store and friendly and helpful staff. Thanks for a wonderful visit!

Our third stay at Hot Springs KOA and it was fantastic! Clean room, smooth check-in, and super friendly staff. They were incredibly accommodating with our last-minute room change and our dogs. The new owners are awesome—welcoming and uplifting. Highly recommend this peaceful, pet-friendly place!

Very pleasant campground. Bath rooms could use some deep cleaning. Being in a class B motor home, baths are of particular interest to us. It makes or breaks a stay.

The Hosts were so kind to us, and we were super lucky to have them on our first stop on our honeymoon. We had a few hiccups on our trip and they were extremely flexible with us to ensure we had a great stay. I appreciate them so much for their help and kindness!

This is one of our "most favorite" KOA's, it's always on our short list & makes it an easy choice for where to stop as we're driving through. It has now repeatedly turned into this being at least 2-3 days of break time off the road. The nicest staff, a yummy breakfast make this a perfect starting point for a relaxing day at the KOA or as a starting point for a day of adventure in the Black Hills. Clean cabins and amenities, a good variety of rv sites as well as tent sites make this an easy choice.

We stayed at Hot Springs / Black Hills SD KOA 12-16 July, in our 5th wheel. It was 100+ degrees every day yet the power to the RV sites remained on at this pretty full campground. Almost everyone had their A/C units on full blast. Sites are pretty level for mostly gravel roads and sites some sites we well shaded, Pool was being used by many. We made our reservation a week prior so we could receive forwarded mail that arrived and was handed to us directly. Being full timers for over 8 years we stop at a lot of campgrounds and quite a few KOA's at that, This staff was Amazing and really enjoyed what they were doing and it showed. Kudos to Carol and Scott, Yvonne and Lauren & Zeze and last but not least, Jheri who was making wonderful made to order breakfast platers when we departed. Thanks for going out of your way, every day, we relly enjoyed our stay.

Great store with a little bit everything in it. The workers where phenomenal and helped in any way possible and offered fantastic places to visit during the holiday. Laundry facility was perfect. Lots of activities for the family. Pool and pool area was clean!! Would definitely stay here again!!
