The areas around the pull in pads need some gravel or something to cover up the mud. Our picnic area #48 were all mud and the area near the road ( where we had to walk to road) was mud. I know about lots of rain, but there would have been dirt

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

No control over weather. We did get 8 days of rain and the gravel was on sight to fix soon as weather cleared. We have no sight 48.

Site totally not level. I made reservation 3 months ago and talking to others, they made theirs like 3 days prior and got shaded site but you stick us on gravel unshaded site

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

I am sorry you didn't like your sight you did book online so it picks the sight type you selected.

Clean, well-kept campground.

The owners were friendly and very accommodating. Bathroom were always clean. Campground was quiet. It was a very nice place. Only needed some shade tree. Would stay there again and would recommend it to anyone

Great place to stay, close to Mammoth cave. Nashville is only about 90 minutes away, checked out Broadway and went to the Grand Ole Opry, it was a great day.

Campground seems newer or updated. Gravel pull-through have zero shade but are very spacious. The pool needs updating/repair. Very noisy, the campground is next to Interstate 65. Staff is very nice.

Big clean sites on a hillside over looking a treed barnyard. Lots the 90's sites that I chose have 0 shade but are pull throughs and giant. Lots to do here but, we stayed during a heatwave so didn't get to do much. We were too busy trying to keep the RV cool. We would stay again , only not in the 90's section.

No WiFi for tv, just phone. Spot was just gravel, not like photos.

The site we stayed on was great. It was shaded very nicely and the concrete pad was a plus for the RV. The only downside was, the KOA was right next to a very busy highway. And it was loud, also the laundry facilities weren’t working properly so if you were staying more than a couple of nights, you were out of luck. But we had a great stay and would recommend to friends.

Great facilities and wonderful staff. Everyone was very helpful. We enjoyed the pool and the jump spot tremendously. The restrooms were very nice and clean. We would definitely recommend.

The facility was very clean. Had things for the kids to do. Needed more family activites to do.

Great amenities but a very strange KOA. The campsites up top have beautiful trees but are short and hard to get into and the ones down at the bottom are easy to get into and very generous in size but nothing more than a gravel parking lot. And the road noise from I-65 is quite loud.

Great experience! Attentive staff, clean campground, well maintained

Pull through assigned was not big enough for a 38ft MH towing a car

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

When making a reservation put in your guest notes that you do not want to disconnect. With the total length not just your trailer length.

An excellent campground. It was clean, the restrooms and showers were very nice and air conditioned.

Beautiful facility, lots of fun things to do there and in the community and such friendly staff. Will definately go again

The family who owns/works there are absolutely super with helping us. This was the first time staying here but we had stopped by many times. What was a bit different with our stay than compared to our "just stopping by" was that the bathrooms weren't as tidy as we had seen them. But the young girl who helped with internet problem was great. We had to get some important documents done. Thanks!

I wouldn’t advertise wi fi when there were none at our site. Not even on our phone much less streaming. Days using cell data just to look for things to do in the area when you have limited data

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

I’m sorry for the inconvenience. We hand out a welcome pack to let you know what’s going on in our area as far as the Wi-Fi I called our Wi-Fi technician and he did a troubleshoot and found no issues. He made me aware if your cookies do not allow you to connect to an unsecure network would be an

Convenient location, friendly staff, nice amenities including pool, jumping pillow, and giant slide. Beautiful trees and landscaping and nice arrangement of sites. We had a one-night stay in a pull through site and the site was my only complaint about this KOA. This gravel section was very unlevel front to back, which is terrible for people who hope to stay connected to tow vehicle.

This was a nice KOA. My husband enjoyed the fishing pond. We enjoyed the farm atmosphere, the horses and turkeys. It is well kept. Staff is friendly. Playground is nice for kids.

Nice location and the staff were friendly. Biggest items I would love to be see addressed. WiFi did not work at the bottoms of the hill/ sites 84-90. When speaking to the staff this was a known gap in coverage. Power in this area seemed to have issues when it rained. My site and another site experienced these issues. Miniature golf course could use some TLC.

Highway noise is bad. Too few full hookups. Staff was great.

Very well maintained campground.
Jun 14, 2025
The amenities were very nice, especially when you have kids. Would prefer to have a grill rather than a firepit. Or have a grate over the fire pit. But it was a good place to stay b/c close to caves, Mammoth, etc.

The pull through lots arr not level, the nose of our camper was almost to the ground it was lowered as much as it could be and we still weren't level. The internet that you provide is very deceiving, this is a family campground and your internet should support streaming. The campground was clean is about yhe only positive thing going for it.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Wifi can be used on laptops and cell phones for streaming. TV will not connect due to it is not passcode it is ad popup.

Beautiful campground, our site was very unleveled and being on that cliff was scary.
Jun 11, 2025
Absolutely lovely facilities, sites and views. Cleanest, largest bathroom/shower combinations. Staff were all very nice and helpful. Would come back!
Jun 10, 2025
Very nice campground! The only downside was the pull through sites at the bottom of the hill were out level in two planes making it difficult to level up the camper.
Jun 09, 2025
The restrooms was either out of toilet paper or paper towels. Don't think they was cleaned the whole stay. Also need better WiFi can only get it on ur phone
Jun 09, 2025
Very nice KOA, close to a number of tourist sites, team was very polite and enjoyable. Fishing wasn't bad either. :)
Jun 09, 2025
Clean bathrooms, good area between campsites. Several activities for the kids to enjoy. The slide wasn’t open which was a bummer. Overall we had a good experience.

Super clean, well laid out campsite , excellent hosts . A great place to stay
Jun 08, 2025
beautiful views, nice roomy sites for tent, camper or Motor home. Clean with friendly staff.

Great overnight stay. Staff was super friendly and site was perfect for an overnight stay.
Jun 08, 2025
Great site and campground. Wonderful view from site 6.
Jun 07, 2025
I was surprised at the term” pull through” which implies you can pull through and park with out unhooking, small detail. How everleveling was not possible with jacks exstended the 18” max, and sewer dump was 14” higher than discharge por on our 38’ Coach, seemed odd, asked about it and no reply came. Other than that a very nice place to stay

Restrooms were very clean, but the campground is so loud because of highway traffic. The pool was a little disappointing, too, because it was cloudy and being filled with a garden hose.

It was an awesome 3 night stay. Plenty to do. I wish the pool was larger - 5' deep max. You can't beat the restrooms. Very Clean. Great place for the kiddos. Very, Very Safe!

We stayed at Horse Cave a few years ago and while they have completed the treehouses and made some other upgrades the campground itself seemed unkempt. Compared to other KOA’s it was just not up to standard. Not under their control, the surrounding area has also seen some decline with stores and hotels that have seen better days.

It was my very first camping trip. I bought a camper and decided to travel around the US. My first trip was a short, one just to test it out to Mammoth Caves, Kentucky. The site was essentially a gravel lot with an electric outlet a picnic table and a metal fire pit. I was disappointed. At least the place was clean and well maintained. The putt-putt golf course was an atrocious, however.

It was a really cool spot. Really close to mammoth caves. There were turkeys, ponies and a donkey ! There was also a great fishing pond. Over all a very beautiful site.

We didn't have a room because we were in our tent but they have some amazing looking teepees, and the conestoga wagons face a beautiful grassy valley with nice big decks out back. This is a really nice campground. All the showers are actually individual bathrooms so that was a really nice feature and they were super clean. We arrived after dark so I couldn't tell if any of the other empty tent sites were level. Ours wasn't super flat but we made do. Also, when you're picking your site for an RV or camper, there's some pull through right along the campground road where your table and fire pit basically sit next to the road. Maybe that's normal. I don't have a camper. And surprisingly the highway noise kept up all night long. My experience is that most KOAs we've ever stayed at are close to an interstate, but typically we don't notice the noise as much. This KOA campground was very well kept and I would definitely recommend it!
