One one the cleanest KOA’s I’ve stayed at. The hostess is very friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend, and will definitely stay here again!

Our site was great. The amenities were wonderful and the restrooms were very clean and more like a motel than a campground. The lady at the registration desk was friendly and helpful.

The staff was very friendly, and the place was clean and had things for children to do. However., our camping spot was when I called the gravel pit and the highway noise was unbelievable. Great for an overnight stop though.

only there for one night but this KOA has done a lot of upgrades since we have been there years ago. We apparently were upgraded without being asked and charged automatically. Would appreciate being asked first.

An amazing place to stay and very polite workers !

Everything was good with the exception of the spot assigned to us. It was too slanted on loose gravel. We could never get level and ruined two stabilizer Jack's In the process. But thank you for the fun.

The staff was very friendly. Great location to Mammoth Cave and local attractions.

Highway traffic was insane loud at night.

It appeared that other campers did not have campground etiquette and rules were not adhered to or enforced. Awkward roads to drive the rv in and out. Other than check in did not see any staff around the campground. Grounds were clean. Bathroom/shower mostly clean.

Tight quarters for a 40' 5th wheel. Drive thru sites had hookups on wrong side and NO SEPTIC for a premium pull thru site. Used to be KOA meant something. To turn around we were directed to a "NO RV" road. To use the dump station, you must exit the park, turn around to go uphill, then drive all around the park to exit. Please use RV familiar for designer for redesign. On plus side, nice showers!

Nice stay always like coming to this koa

Very clean and friendly. The only suggestion I would have is better leveling of gravel campsites. We had a great stay! Very convenient for local area sites/ adventures. Highly recommend!

Our camp site (space 90), was very close the the freeway, very far away from any amenities, ZERO Shade or Trees, and the 50amp power service that we needed (and payed for) was non-functional. The pool was nice, tha bathhouse was big, and clean, the play area for the kids was great... But based on the cost, where were we placed, and the other items mentioned above, we would NOT Stay here ag

Awesome camp

Too noisy from highway plant some buffers near highway. I spent 4 hours in the laundry as there was only 1 dryer and that didn’t dry clothes very well. The part where I stayed was basically a parking lot. It was clean but that was probably because no one was there. I’ve been almost all of the US and this was not a very inviting campground!!

Very nice and well maintained campground. Lots of fun things for the kids to do. Peaceful and beautiful views from site 6.

Stayed here many times. Great place. Three negatives are the uphill dump station which may cause a turn around in rough rocky hotel parking lot to get back to your site. And the noise from the Interstate. But I will stay again.

Rude employees, didn’t apply rewards as requested. Never returned phone call.

We were given a site that had not been cleaned, and when we reported it someone came by, picked up a styrofoam cup and replaced the fire pit and left the rest. We ended up filling a grocery bag with trash in 90 degree plus heat, and dropped it off at the office. The only thing we got from management was a sorry and a bunch of excuses, no effort or offer to make up for it.

Very friendly staff, really nice bathroom and shower facilities. Easy site setups. Other than the interstate proximity... It was an enjoyable stay! We would likely stay here again.

Absolutely pristine facilities & beautiful setting!’Restrooms are hotel quality!

Easy to find, easy to park, very nice laundry area, very nice restrooms/showers - very clean. Beautiful farm land behind the park and beautiful sunsets. It was a very pleasant stay for one night.
Aug 24, 2023
The sites were not level. We had to raise our SuperC off the ground, which we hate to do. It took us 45 minutes to level and we did not like our position on site 90. Another camper left 90 because he couldn't level his older RV. The people were nice and the location was good for the Mammoth Caves National Park but other than that I would not recommend it. Very few full hook-up sites with sewer.

The pool was green on weekend .. couldn’t see our feet , no toilet paper in bathroom several times, a little loud near highway but overall well kept and nice sites:)

Quiet, well- managed, pretty scenery.

We had an excellent site and a beautiful view. The wagon sites, tee pee sites and tree houses will be highly recommended.

Your facility is wonderful it was our site that was bad. We were on the bottom row and the highway noise was awful. Could not sleep with the entire camper closed up. It we had been up in the row just in front of the tree houses and wagons it would have been a great stay. I rode up there in the golf cart and stopped to listen. Two entirely different worlds. Being informed would have helped.

IT was a very nice RV park. and the staff are very friendly/helpful. The pool was nice, grounds well maintained. The only item to be prepared for is some of the sites near the pond are not level. The sites are on an angle making it challenging to get the front of the RV low enough to achieve a level unit.

Loves the location; busy but still relaxing!

What an amazing, relaxing stay! We were in the area visiting family and decided to splurge and stay in the treehouse cabin. I didn't want to leave!!! Beautiful views at sunset, tons of outdoor space, and stunning interior. Lots for kids to do. (I had to try the jumping pillow for myself! Highly recommend!) The staff are so sweet, especially Lisa. Places like this are why we stay at KOAs and not hotels! Can't beat it!

Had a really nice, level site. Great amenities and the bathrooms are top notch! Only issue we had was with the internet/TV connection. We wound up using our phones as mobile hot spots to watch tv....

Our recent stay at Horse Cave KOA in Kentucky was an extraordinary experience that we highly recommend to anyone looking for an outdoor adventure. Nestled in the heart of nature, this campground not only offers the serenity and beauty one seeks in a getaway but also boasts facilities that are impeccably maintained and staffed by some of the friendliest people we've encountered. What sets Horse Cave KOA apart are its unique accommodations, particularly the teepees and tree houses, which provide a one-of-a-kind camping experience. The teepees offer a fun, traditional, yet comfortable camping vibe, allowing you to connect with the great outdoors without sacrificing comfort. On the other hand, the tree houses are an absolute dream for those looking to elevate their stay—quite literally! Perched among the branches, these accommodations offer stunning views and a tranquil setting that makes you feel as if you've stepped into a fairy tale. The cleanliness of the amenities here deserves a special mention. Whether it was the restrooms, the common areas, or the accommodations themselves, everything was spotless. The proximity to local attractions adds another layer of appeal, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. The Horse Cave KOA provides an unparalleled camping experience that combines the beauty of Kentucky's natural landscapes with the charm of unique accommodations and the warmth of exceptional service. It's a perfect spot for families, couples, and solo adventurers seeking a memorable escape into nature.
