Just an overnight stay to celebrate a birthday. Roasted hotdogs and marshmallows then had cake and ice cream. Very cute tee pee!! Sue

OMG, Amazing, we stayed in one of the covered wagons, great view of green pastures and sky. Low noise off the highway and wow, great beds, super comfy and very elegant. I wonderful spot. Lots of room to walk my dog, we will for sure return one day as this is a great spot!

We absolutely loved the treehouse and this campground! So much to do for our kids and the grounds are so well kept! Only thing I would recommend is better internet service for streaming on the tv since there is no cable and having propane in the grill would have been nice! Luckily we brought our own charcoal grill! Will definitely be back!

Froze to death, heater didn't work or something. Very loud noises from RVs, couldn't sleep. Wish I could get my money back. Left real early in the morning so Iwe could get car heat.

We had a wonderful time. This is our first day at a KOA. The TP was absolutely gorgeous and much more spacious than expected. It also had all the amenities of a cabin. The children loved all of the different play options.

We absolutely loved our stay at Horse Cave KOA in Kentucky! The area's scenic beauty is unmatched, and the facilities are top-notch. Friendly staff, clean amenities, and close proximity to local attractions make it a perfect getaway spot for families and solo adventurers alike. The teepees, tree houses, and bath house are all first-class. I highly recommend it!

We only stayed for one night in TeePee 2, but it was great. The place was clean and neat. Everything was provided for us including small toiletries and towels. It was chilly and off season so some of the outdoor fun was closed, but my daughter loved the Jumping pillow. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable about local area. Suggestion: add a table under the stairs to hold bag and hooks by the door.

This campground was great! Lots of activities in close proximity to the campground and plenty of activities in the campground to keep my child busy and entertained. Staff was very friendly as well. Can’t wait to come back !

The facilities were very new, construction is ongoing, so clean but the value received for what we paid just really wasn’t there. Simple amenities were missing from the “deluxe” lodging. We would have been better served in an established hotel, and paid far less.

I just want to thank them for a nice cabin and due to me not reading the entire reservation. I didn’t know that they didn’t have pillows or blanket for the futon. I called the after hours number and within 30 minutes there was a knock on my door. The lady had brought us a blanket and pillow. I thought that was so nice. This KOA is a really nice one!!

Check in was a breeze. We were warmly welcomed on our arrival. The bathrooms were pristine. Our cabin was clean and beautiful. We enjoyed every minute of our stay.

This camp ground has a lot to offer. Very nice bathrooms and unique cabins. The cabin we stayed in was nice, but it did smell like smoke and it looked like an animal had damaged the door seal into the room making it cold at night. Other than that it was a nice campground.

The hospitality & upgraded cabins elevated our experience! It is close enough to the interstate so you hear trucks. We knew that going in so that didn't affect our review. It is SUPER convenient to local National Parks; which was our goal. The scary part...camp roads where never treated for the snowfall and it was a sliding adventure every time we left and came back. However, we would come back!!

Loved the uniqueness of the teepee stay. Just the right amount of room, everything was clean and well taken care of. Kids had a blast! I'm sure we will be back.

The area and location were great. We enjoyed the campground and the ease of getting to and from different attractions. The only problem we had was the heater could not keep the covered wagon warm in the colder weather. Loved the bathrooms there!

We were scheduled to stay in their covered wagon section but couldn't find where to drive/park due to no lighting in and near this area. Our travel agent had specifically inquired about the lighting when she originally made the reservation and was told by Horse Cave KOA that it was well lighted, which we found to be incorrect. Unfortunately, we had to leave the campground and book a hotel room.

I am sorry you could not find the wagons. We have never had anyone that could not find there spot. Listed on site map is the after hour number. We can not help that it was raining and your defrost on your car wasn't working at the time.

Great property, beautiful trees and wooded area. Sweet horse on property that our kids loved, also the jumping pillow was a hit! Very cute and clean cabin we stayed in. The only negative was the wifi was hard to get reception at our cabin.

Beautiful accommodations! The wagon was amazing and roomy. The view was great. The bathrooms were clean. I wish the water pressure was a bit better in the showers but that is the only minuscule fault I could find with our stay. We had a wonderful time!

Sonya, the owner, and staff were pleasant and kind. Recieved clear instructions about campground amenities and directions to our site written on the map. The accommodations were spotless. The Teepee itself was so unique and cozy - really a huge part of the whole experience. Bathrooms were top notch. Well stocked store. Near lots of attractions, good for families. Would *definitely* recommend 10/10

I have staid twice now and often tell others about the great property. I would give 5 stars except for 2 significant problems with last stay. First the Heat/AC did not work and the windows were just not capable of cooling the cabin we staid in. Second we expected quiet peaceful fall experience and instead had loud partying neighbors that were concerned with anyone around them.

Stayed in covered wagon with my 4 grandchildren 12,10, 8, 6 while visiting Mammoth Cave. The kids loved the playground and spent an entire morning playing.

We stayed in the Deluxe Cabin (K6) and had a wonderful time. The night we checked in the staff had put on various Halloween activities for the children, including trick or treating around the campground, which was a really nice surprise. The Cabin was very clean and well stocked. Only downside is it is close to the highway and lacks the "retreat" feel of other more remote KOAs. Would recommend

We stayed in the teepee and we LOVED it. It was very clean and was such a neat experience. We also enjoyed the putt putt, jumping pillow, basketball goals, and play area. We built a fire in the fire pit on our porch. The lady at the front desk was so friendly and helpful. We will be back for sure.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Horse Cave KOA! Convenient location. Front office was very welcoming and had our cabin ready to go on arrival. We stayed in a newly renovated, deluxe cabin. Camp ground was very clean and family friendly. Our kids enjoyed the bounce pillow and play ground! The thing that stood out for us the most was how friendly and attentive the staff was!

Wonderful experience, wonderful location. The noise from the interstate was minimal. The tee pee was not stocked with spare toilet paper or trash bags. Other than that it was perfect! Cozy, clean, peaceful, great time had by all!

We stayed in one of the treehouses and it was pretty awesome! Everything was very clean and the staff was very friendly. We fished, played volleyball, had a bonfire, and enjoyed hanging out in the treehouse.

We absolutely loved our stay in the Teepee. The employees, especially Lisa, were friendly and kind. The only issue we had is a concern for safety in the teepee. There is a closet next to the bedroom that has a trap door that leads underneath the teepee and under the back deck .It is not locked and the door under the deck leading into it is not locked either. Anyone could enter, needs to be locked.

What an amazing, relaxing stay! We were in the area visiting family and decided to splurge and stay in the treehouse cabin. I didn't want to leave!!! Beautiful views at sunset, tons of outdoor space, and stunning interior. Lots for kids to do. (I had to try the jumping pillow for myself! Highly recommend!) The staff are so sweet, especially Lisa. Places like this are why we stay at KOAs and not hotels! Can't beat it!

Had a really nice, level site. Great amenities and the bathrooms are top notch! Only issue we had was with the internet/TV connection. We wound up using our phones as mobile hot spots to watch tv....
