The WI-FI SUCKS I couldn’t even book my next KOA STAY. There were no trash receptacles located thru the park like they said

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We do trash pick-up. there are trash cans located by main office. We up graded our WIFI for faster service during your stay.

The camp ground is nice but it is right beside the freeway. We left two days early because of the noise and found a quieter campground. We couldn't sleep or have a decent conversation outside. It needs to have a sound barrier built.

Wonderful, clean, family oriented campground. Very clean shower rooms and very friendly staff. Would definitely stay here again.

Very well maintained park. The park is set up with different tiers so you aren't looking at an RV directly behind you. Our site was an easy in and out. Water connection was behind the rv and thankfully we had additional water hose. Electric and sewer were up near our rv connections on our 41' fifth wheel.

A beautiful campground but hilly. Our site did not have sewer which was no problem except for the dump station on a hill. Sometimes the bathrooms were crowded with everyone wanting to shower instead of using the toilet.

We loved our stay! The rescued horse and resident turkeys made for an extra bonus for our kids. The miniature golf was a lot of fun especially hole 16. Beautiful are and less than a mile from a cave and Kentucky Down Under. We will be back to thee area!

Very pleasant young woman working at check in and really nice bathrooms/showers. The concrete pad site we had was perfect for watching the sunset.

Nice campground that is very well maintained. Road noise was something beyond their control and was pretty loud. Staff was great. I would stay there again if I return to Mammoth Cave area.

Sites are not level and very noisey

Very easy and friendly check in. Property was very well maintained and clean.

No wireless internet service and was failed to fix in 4 days. No regular TV stations. Holes in the pet fence. Dog waste receptacle overflowing. No garbage cans near us - we were in 86. Parking a big rig on a downhill slope is dangerous. An out of order washing machine. An out of order dryer. The restroom/showers were nice.

Overall a nice stay in a really clean tidy campground. There is freeway noise but certainly tolerable. Pretty view. Treehouse cabins look fun! They are building some kind of slide so kids will enjoy that when it’s completed. If you go into town, eat at The Feeder Restaurant. Fresh made pizzas, fresh salad bar and the best cobbler for dessert.

We stay here every year. Very friendly staff and clean shower house. Our kids love the pool and jumping pillow.

Loved Horse Cave KOA! We only stayed one night, just passing through. Wifi was great, my hubby could work with our engineering student back in Canada to help with an assignment :) The showers were awesome! 10 big single private full bathrooms!!

The employees were friendly and helpful. Disappointed that a KOA Holiday was so close to the highway (noise). Also disappointed that we didn’t have full hookup. We asked to delay our departure for three hours and move the camper out of the way. Employee said we’d have to pay for a full day even though campground was half empty. The shower/bathrooms are wonderful!

Outstanding campground. Meticulously maintained with friendly helpful staff. Beautiful location and convenient to the highway. Many ways to stay - tee pees, treehouses, covered wagons, tent sites, and RV sites. And the nicest bathrooms we have seen. A definite place to return for us.

Stayed for 3 days. It is very well maintained with great bathrooms and super nice staff.

Great campground close to the local community. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only negatives were the unlevel sites and the noise from the interstate during the day.

Nice site lots of noise from interstate

This was a very nice place to stay. Plenty of shade with a breeze on the hill. Very clean, quiet and relaxing. We rented the patio for our camper and loved it!! Will stay there again if needed.

I requested a pull through with full hook ups!! With exception of cable we received full hook ups. We were at site 87 and our trailer extended the full length of the campsite requiring us to disconnect our truck. Not a pull through site plus the site was gravel on a slight incline!! No thanks!! Campground was clean and had several amenities, again lacking cable. First and last stay!!

First of all, I would like to say that the staff was very nice and welcoming, but the campground location was awful. Located right next to the Interstate, the truck noise was deafening at all times. The site for large campers was little more than a gravel parking lot and cigarette butts littered our site. I recommend they plant trees to help block the sound!

Close to mammoth cave. I’m weird I like the interstate near. Clean, friendly, easy in and out.

Recommend this location over any other, by far the best out of any KOA I’ve stayed at! Super nice staff and very clean campsite! Make sure you check them out.

One one the cleanest KOA’s I’ve stayed at. The hostess is very friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend, and will definitely stay here again!

Our site was great. The amenities were wonderful and the restrooms were very clean and more like a motel than a campground. The lady at the registration desk was friendly and helpful.

The staff was very friendly, and the place was clean and had things for children to do. However., our camping spot was when I called the gravel pit and the highway noise was unbelievable. Great for an overnight stop though.

only there for one night but this KOA has done a lot of upgrades since we have been there years ago. We apparently were upgraded without being asked and charged automatically. Would appreciate being asked first.

Everything was good with the exception of the spot assigned to us. It was too slanted on loose gravel. We could never get level and ruined two stabilizer Jack's In the process. But thank you for the fun.

So much fun! We stayed in a treehouse that had all the modern comforts! Great location right off the interstate and located close to great restaurants and attractions.

Lovely campground. Deceiving photos. Catching up on helpful Google reviews from previous stays. I usually place reviews on Campendium for RV parks. ---------------- $60/night Stayed 8 nights Site #87 Stayed here end of-Aug 2023. Pull-through 50 amp. FHU. ***Photos—Sites 84-93: The photos on their site are not accurate. There is only rocky gravel. No grass on the sites at all. See my photos.*** THE GOOD: -Sites: Very spacious sites. The sites in pull throughs near the barn are not level. Very high in front and need to adjust a good amount left to right. -Gas/restaurants/groceries: It is within 10 min of anything you might need. -Location: several caves to explore within 5 min. Mammoth Cave NP 20 min away. -Showers/Bathrooms: Great bathrooms / showers! Private with locking door. Full bathroom like you would have at home with nicely tiled walls. -Nice setting: The barn, fishing pond, and farm behind the campground make this campground really comfy. -Near interstate: Yes. Campground WiFi: -Really good and reliable (for campground wifi) during our stay. Cell/hotspot using booster: -AT&T (3 of 4 bars—4G) -Verizon (2 of 4 bars—5G) Note: Cell service is unstable and drops often. Still works. Just helpful to know ahead of time.

AWESOME restroom and showers! Sonia was very friendly! Campground was easy to access, had a great view. Day trips to caves and surrounding areas not more than an hour. Would definitely stay there again! Looks like they are expanding. Glad to see it.
