Great trip. The bathrooms were amazing clean and private. Only complaint was regarding the ac in our wagon. The wagon was extremely warm. Making it very uncomfortable with the extreme heat. I reached out via email and was given a fan. Just feel like if it’s advertised as air conditioned it should be. Just because a ac is on doesn’t mean it works or is strong enough for the space.

The KOA was very clean! The showers/restrooms were very nice. The restrooms/showers were modern and private. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed all the amenities they had to offer for the kids. They really enjoyed the animals, pool and bouncy pad. We didn't stay in a covered wagon, but I thought it was a very cool idea.

So much fun at the campground. Showers were great and everyone was so friendly. Plus, there were plenty of activities for children.

On our first night, my family and I were planning our next visit to Horse Cave KOA! Very friendly ladies in the office - loved that they had a little welcome baggie filled with area attraction brochures. And the bathrooms! Love the private, spacious, very clean shower rooms.

I had a tee pee and it was comfortable and clean. Would like to have a stove top as well as the microwave.

Nice and very well kept camp ground. We absolutely enjoyed our stay. The only 1st world problem I had was there was not a lot of available shade in the upper camping area. Definitely plan for that! However, Absolutely would recommend this one!

The grounds were clean & maintained. The pool was clean and refreshing and the water temperature was perfect. The bathrooms were campground luxurious !!

Very nice, very clean, very pleasant. Like most KOA's located along highway with some noise. Great for staying when going cross country.

We had a "Deluxe Cabin" and it had a full sized refrigerator and a microwave. No grill, no microwave dishes, very minimal on everything in the kitchen. Altho it says it sleeps 4, that is only if it's 2 small children. Bring extra towels. Theirs are about a large hand towel size. Sister was in a teepee and kitchen was even worse, but they had a grill. Cabin itself was very nice, but no hair dryer

You stayed in one of our remodeled cabins. You have a standard fridge, microwave, coffee maker, dishes are furnished. The Teepee have the same as listed above you can also see photos online.

Amenities were very nice. Many of the sites were awkwardly placed and there was a lot of noise from the highway.

Overall the campground was very nice. The outdoor pool was perfect and it had the nicest bathrooms/showers I have seen at a campground. We left a day early due to rain and received a full refund for the night, I was very please with that.

Clean, well taken care of camp site. Pull thru sites closest to the highway were wide, leaving enough elbow room to make any camper happy.

I would like to say this is a great campground for a family with children. Lots of awesome activities. For big rigs not good. We stayed one night and were in the "Big Rig" pull through area. You are uphill when you pull in. To get level we had the rear wheels 6" off the ground. Rear wheels off the ground is A) dangerous and B) bad for your RV. Big Rigs stay away!

The pull through spots for larger rigs have zero shade and noise from the interstate is very loud. The WiFi was sketchy and slow, the ability to receive any local TV stations was non existent. The staff at the front desk were very friendly though.

We stayed in the Teepee and it was absolutely gorgeous! Close to the places we visited and nice amenities! My son left his favorite stuffed elephant behind and they took very good care of him til we could get back for him! B

Someone had wrecked the cabin we were supposed to stay in and we got upgraded to a tree house. It was awesome.

Super spacious spaces. Very clean. Very friendly staff. Excellent services. The only fly in the ointment is that the high way is somewhat loud. Other than that its a 10 out of 10.

Reserved a site about a month earlier. When we got there people were very friendly. Went and hooked up trailer and the 50amp service was out. Went to talk with them about it and they moved us to a site with 50amp service. The campground was clean and well taken care of and the restrooms were immaculate. Would definitely stay there again!!!

My first stay at a KOA and it was prefect. The facilities were spotless. The pool was wonderful and the staff is top notch! I will definitely be staying again! Great job!

Nice clean park. The Cabins are rustic and could use some upgrading. Need bigger fan in bedroom area. Air conditioner was nice in living area, but didn't reach the bedroom, especially if door was closed.

Our site was on the main road. Could not open awning due to traffic. Had to watch stepping out of door being so close. Pool needs maintenance, a ladder was right on a broken edge piece and it had sharp corners, it was painted over instead of being fixed. The pictures are deceiving. The front counter person was nice though.

Great stay. Only thing I would change is the requirement of filling gas in the golf cart rental. We rented for 3 days and drove around quite a bit and only used $1.92 worth of gas. When I was told to top it off I was taken back. The gas should be included in the $50 per day fee. I am younger but many old people would not do that.

This is a delightful, clean campground with so much to do for the whole family. Close to the caves and historic district. It is close to the interstate which makes it very convenient but a little noisy. The kids LOVED the horse, turkeys, ducks and ponies!

I really love this campground despite how close it is to I-65. Last time, our site was nicely level; this time, not so much (probably because of the recent heavy rain). The bathroom layout is amazing - private baths, practically immaculate. Staff member incredibly nice, helpful despite not feeling good. We still had some of the awesome view of the nearby farm that drew us in last year.

We only got to stay one night going to Pennsylvania Dutch Country and one night on our way back to Alabama but it was a beautiful park with many amenities. We used the pool, very clean and enjoyable. We rented a golf cart, very nice to have getting to and from pool. Quiet restful well groomed grounds, lovely flowering bushes, ponds, and level, well operated pull in spaces for RVs. Will return.

We stayed in the Teepee on this trip and the covered wagons 2 years ago. The Horse Cave KOA is very clean, has plenty of activities for children, maintains a nice shower and bath facility, and a has a nice camp store. The teepee exceeded our expectations. We will definitely return in the future for more adventures.

Our cabin’s television continually froze and had to reboot, the internet did not work well so we could not use my daughter’s tablet. The AC only cooled the front of the cabin leaving the sleeping area very warm. We left early, before 11 the next day, and were still charged for the extra day. They didn’t even ask why we were leaving or offer a refund.

It's a great place. Everything clean & perfect. Love it here & staffs are awesome especially the young lady in office. She's a sweetie. Helps the best way possible.

Nice little Campground. Our site drive was curved so it was impossible to get the trailer stairs to land on the pavement. Since we were only there for one night we put blocks under the stairs, wad a bit Woodley but ok.

This KOA is so pretty, clean and conveniently located off I-65! It has Conestoga wagons, teepees, treehouses, cabins, easy to park rv spots—even a 43 ft. fifth-wheel and they all have nice picnic tables. The people in the office are very nice and helpful. The pool and playground areas are great as well!! It was quiet and we felt safe here. There is a dog dog park too.The surrounding countryside is also beautiful. We will be stopping again on our way back south in the fall and hopefully tour some caves!!!
