This is 1 of my favorite KOA campgrounds. It has tons of amenities including a beautiful pool, a store with ice cream, a coffee bar and a spectacular view. It’s very clean with 10 spacious shower/bathrooms and very quiet.

Great location and nicely kept campground. Only negatives are the roads and spots are not easy to navigate depending on how busy. Also the dump station is in a bad spot. I would definitely move it to one of the spots at the bottom of the campground.

Property very nice. Stayed in TeePee2. Mouse infestation is very bad in TeePee. They ate quite a bit of our food we needed to destroy. Mice very active at night preventing any sleep. Grill in back was absolutely horrible. Grates rusted very badly, had to wrap in aluminum foil to use, needed lighter to ignite. For $300 per night, this should be in very high standards.

Mice festation??? First, we have heard about this. We will look into this ASAP. You should have said something during your stay not after you leave.

I loved the family friendly bathrooms! Never a wait and so easy to manage shower trips with my daughter! My daughter loved the bounce pillow!

Glorified parking lot, pull through site was narrow parallel parking, lots of gravel that could be grass/trees, sad putt putt, few & dying trees. Good: clean campground & bathrooms, teepees/tree houses/stagecoaches looked cool. Utilities were fine at our site but our travel partners had difficulties with buried water line. Fine for overnight stay (KOA Journey) but not Holiday.

We stayed for one night, it was a cool experience. We had never been to a KOA before it was exceptionally a nice, quiet and clean facility. We stayed in one of the Teepee's what a cool place. Extremely close to all of the adventures in the area. Out child loved the jump pad and making new friends.

Very clean! Appreciate that the bathrooms were super clean. They were a little far from the tent area. Could benefit having a bathroom close to the tents! Play area was nice. However, no place really for parents to sit mear the jumping pillow.

We only stayed one night as we were passing through but left with great regret. The place was lovely and had so much for my grandson to do. My only complaint would be that some of the guests did not observe a decent quiet time at night. We had some children across from us that were extremely loud after midnight making it really hard to sleep. Rules could be stressed a little more.

The campground is beautiful and has great amenities. The location is perfect for visiting the many caves in the area. However, our site was extremely off level, and it was a bit unsettling being at the top of a steep hill and up on every leveling block we had. That being said, we would definitely recommend this campground to others with that one caveat.

The grounds were well kept. Bathrooms very clean and inviting. Kids had a lot to do. We did have a lot of truck noise at night and they kept putting people next to us even tho the place was well over half empty. They had 2 barking dogs.

We stayed in one of the covered wagons. It was really comfortable and lots of space. When we first arrived it was very hot and we were unable to adjust the air conditioner. One of the staff members came and made the adjustments and it was comfortable afterwards. The shower house was extremely nice! I was impressed that the bathrooms were complete with shower/tub, sink, and toilet.

This is a fantastic campground with a great lication less than 1 mile from the main highway but due to being way above the highway, the sound is minimal. The staff is very helpful, informative and professional. The pool was refreshing and very clean as well as the showers and bathrooms. And the views are beautiful.

The KOA from the road looks like a good place to stay it will fool you. The website is deceiving as well. The spot we reserved said easy in easy out not true fot a 45ft fifth wheel and the full Hookups the sewer you better have a 30ft hose, water we had to use a 100ft just so we could reach the electric box. Just be cautious it might be good for some RVers just not us. Pool was closed. Dry county!

We had a wonderful time staying in the suite no.2. It was spacious, and laid out well. There were pots and pans in the cupboards which was a nice surprise. I couldn't however get the grill to work. The shower was nice after a long day.

It was a nice campground with the best bathroom/shower facility. Having the golf cart rental was so nice for peaceful drives through the campground. All the staff were friendly.

It is a beautiful campground and is very well keep. We had rented 2 cabins and a full hookup site for our kids and grandkids. One of our cabin's air was not working properly. (Cabin K9) It was only blowing out on half of the unit and of course this was one of the hottest weekends of the year. Other than that, our family had an enjoyable stay.

The camping spots do not match the map. The map advertises pull in, loop spots. What i got was a pull off the road, into mud, the width of the camper. You step out of the camper on to the road. I couldn't even put.my awning out, or vehicles would not have been able to come through. The seating/campfire location was behind the vehicle a bit. Definitely would not stay here again.

Love the campground at Horse Cave. This was our 4th time to stay there. Love the teepee! Have 2 suggestions, please put a key holder by the door to hang key on to keep from loosing it. The other is the mini split unit worked great but need a fan in the bedrooms to help circulate air. It was a hot week when we were there but the air doesn’t flow to bedrooms with out a small fan to help.

Amenities and setting were fine. Our site was awful. Site was nowhere near level-had to lower 5th wheel 10” once disconnected, which caused stabilizer jacks to be unusable. Two large tree hazards, phone pole, several guy wires, a curb, a retaining wall and a site depth that barely fit our 5th wheel. If husbands hadn’t been adept at backing a trailer, we couldn’t have stayed in site 36.

The campground and facilities were very nice. The pool could use some maintenance as it had a couple of broken areas. We were unable to stay our entire time as it rained so much. We only stayed 2 of the 5 nights we paid for. There is nothing any of us could do about the weather but I do wish we could have had part of the cost back in a KOA gift card.

My family stayed in the covered wagons and had a great time. The sites were very clean and the restrooms were very clean and easy to get to. The staff was also friendly and helpful if we had questions. I would recommend anyone to come stay here

It was a really cool spot. Really close to mammoth caves. There were turkeys, ponies and a donkey ! There was also a great fishing pond. Over all a very beautiful site.

Visiting my nephew for a birthday party there. Nice camping sites. Pool well took care of and a fishing pond. I definitely recommend.

We didn't have a room because we were in our tent but they have some amazing looking teepees, and the conestoga wagons face a beautiful grassy valley with nice big decks out back. This is a really nice campground. All the showers are actually individual bathrooms so that was a really nice feature and they were super clean. We arrived after dark so I couldn't tell if any of the other empty tent sites were level. Ours wasn't super flat but we made do. Also, when you're picking your site for an RV or camper, there's some pull through right along the campground road where your table and fire pit basically sit next to the road. Maybe that's normal. I don't have a camper. And surprisingly the highway noise kept up all night long. My experience is that most KOAs we've ever stayed at are close to an interstate, but typically we don't notice the noise as much. This KOA campground was very well kept and I would definitely recommend it!
