Had a problem with bees at our first spot so they put us in a different spot which turned out better for us anyways. It was very relaxing for us and the staff was very friendly and the facility was super clean.

This is the best KOA we have stayed in. The showers are great, grounds clean, nicely wooded, close to the NP. We had friends stay in one of the treehouses, it was a very nice space. We will stay there when ever in the area.

My main objectives were the site, had visions of going over the cliff all night, dumpster was too far and the noise from I40. They did however have it decorated nicely for Halloween.

We are off i65 not i40. We do trash pickup from your site. We are not located in a cliff. Think you may got us mistaken for another campground.

I don’t take this low rating lightly, but it’s simply too important for travelers to know how unlevel the sites are at Horse Cave. Read the reviews! I wish I had! I was assigned space 42, tried space 84,44, and two hours later, finally settled into space 35. Appreciate the partial refund as I moved to a non-sewer site but this whole experience was simply unacceptable.

Beautiful campground with great amenities. We’ve stayed here a few times. Very convenient location for enjoying the caves in the area. We will definitely come back.

We love this Horse Cave KOA, it is our camping spot for a hometown stay. Every one of the staff are great people and the facilities are always clean and well maintained. They do a great job of keeping their grounds well maintained, free from trash, very nice land scaping, well-kept playgrounds for kids and a large dog park. Their special events always keep us coming back to make camping fun.

We stayed in TeePee 1 and it was perfect! Our girls loved it and all the fun things to do at the campground. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. The campground was so nice and clean.

Everything was great! The cabin I reserved had a strong smoke odor. It was no problem changing cabins. The gentleman who helped me upgraded me to a different cabin at no charge. He was very helpful and said he was sorry I had that experience. He could not have been any nicer!

When we tried to park our RV in our site, someone that was not registered at KOA parked in the site and we had to be move. Was a big problem that the “very nice” KOA staff person” had to deal with. She found us another site quickly. Besides having to circle park to go back to desk, stay was as expected! Big Thank you to clerk at front desk

They need to upgrade the sites by leveling them out. They need a stronger Wi- Fi that will work on televisions. The rest of the park looks like it would be fun for kids.

We appreciate your feedback back. Our WiFi is not password protected. The TV will not allow you to watch the pop up ad to be able to connect but your phone and laptop will work great. Yes we are in the process of upgrading our sites. A lot of rain and gravel just doesn’t work well.

Dirty and stained bathroom showers. Most of the laundry facilities are out of order. We got a nice campsite but it didn’t have dump…

Sorry for your experience. Our bathhouse are cleaned daily and checked regularly. The laundry room issue are waiting on a repair service to assist us.

The property was amazing had tons of activities for all ages! There was also a couple turkeys, 2 small ponies, a donkey & a horse. The staff was friendly & accmodating if we needed anything. It was very close to the Mammtoh Cave National Park.

Very nicely kept! Management was friendly and the campground were perfect for our travel needs. The highway is close which makes it great for journeying travelers. The highway noise may be a bit loud for some, but I’d would definitely return to this property.

This was my second stay here. Stayed in the covered wagons both times. Best experience. Amazingly roomy. Most comfortable king size bed! Relaxing environment, country stylish, so homey!

The wagon was great after we figured out the ac. Interstate road noise was somewhat disturbing. The view from the hilltop was very pretty. Loved all the different options of accommodations. Lots of fun activities for us & our grandkids. Friendly staff. Clean showers/restrooms. Very nice fire ring. Nice patio & has grill. Thanks for the memories!

We had the BEST time at KOA - we we're there to celebrate our grandson turning 9 and it did not disappoint!! The teepee was so much fun!!!! The outdoor spaces were amazing!!!!

Unusual set up with drive thru being a 'sideways' space. Easier to park but access to water and electricity was on the wrong side so you'll need a longer hose.Shower curtain was dirty and stank of mildew. Washed shower curtains would make a big difference! Modern bathrooms though. Laundry facilities were good. Great place for kids with lots for them to do. Front desk gal was reasonably friendly.

Nice KOA however a few little issues: we had to bump up on a curb to back in our 5th wheel which was un nerving. One of the dryers was not working and the other struggled to dry and our campsite wasnt "groomed" before we got there. Had to throw away garbage left in fire pit and some old chikdrens clothing. Great place for walks and animals.

Our site had trash in the fire pit, rag and sock on the site. Showers were dirty, shower curtains needed a good cleaning. I had to search through several bathrooms to find one that had toilet paper. Laundry room had 4 washers, 2 were out of order, 2 dryers, 1 was out of order and no laundry tub. Trash cans near the building were full and bags were left next to the can. Entrance needs to be changed

It was a really cool spot. Really close to mammoth caves. There were turkeys, ponies and a donkey ! There was also a great fishing pond. Over all a very beautiful site.

Visiting my nephew for a birthday party there. Nice camping sites. Pool well took care of and a fishing pond. I definitely recommend.

We didn't have a room because we were in our tent but they have some amazing looking teepees, and the conestoga wagons face a beautiful grassy valley with nice big decks out back. This is a really nice campground. All the showers are actually individual bathrooms so that was a really nice feature and they were super clean. We arrived after dark so I couldn't tell if any of the other empty tent sites were level. Ours wasn't super flat but we made do. Also, when you're picking your site for an RV or camper, there's some pull through right along the campground road where your table and fire pit basically sit next to the road. Maybe that's normal. I don't have a camper. And surprisingly the highway noise kept up all night long. My experience is that most KOAs we've ever stayed at are close to an interstate, but typically we don't notice the noise as much. This KOA campground was very well kept and I would definitely recommend it!
