Facilities are well prepared and clean. It was a very relaxing stay and I could tell that there is a lot of time and effort put in towards the comfort for visitors. I will definitely come back to stay and recommend to others.

Had a wonderful stay at the horse cave KOA by far the best bathrooms I have ever been in including five star, hotels, granite, countertops, tiled tubs, backlit, LED mirrors absolutely beautiful private as well

Small pull through sites, 80’s, and are really uneven and unlevel. Nice easy on easy off, but darn, level these sites.

Arrived after dark, 5:30 to 5:45 pm. Office closed. Had no assigned spot. Drove down first drive, up hill, were we could not get turned. Absolute darkness. Backed. Got turned, found a spot. Setup. Right at our lot was a wifi booster tower, but of course, with out anyone to ask, no wifi. Paid for it, but got none. Would never recommend this KOA for " slow season" campers. Nor will we stay here aga

I am sorry you had a hard time. Your site map was posted on office door, with instruction if you needed assistance as to someone is always on site for helping out our guest. We do not charge for WIFI.

The campground is picture perfect but the constant excessively loud noise from the freeway makes it difficult to sleep. That is the only negative and something that can’t be fixed.

stayed in tree house upon arrival noticed no wifi... which is no big deal ...no tv... internet... except when your thermostat is wifi operated... issue was not resolved used hot spot on my phone

Our camper cabin was perfect for our one night stay. It was clean and close to the pristine bathrooms! Had a wrap around deck, fire pit, grill, and table!

We have stayed several time's now we live in elizabethtown ky so it's like a 30min drive but we like to just leave home for day or 3 so we always choose the koa out of all the other's in area it's clean and friendly so we choose there just wish the either get cable or better wifi other than that it's been best out of all around there we have stayed at all and for us LOVE LOVE KOA IN HORSECAVE nice

It was amazing. What a convenient location, quiet, and southern hospitality at its best. Coming from Canada just after a vicious snow storm, we were pleasantly surprised by everything.

Definitely bare bones stay. Was quiet and didn't get bothered but also had difficulty catching someone in the office or finding any employees.

This is a great KOA. It was cold and there was snow but that isn't the fault of the campground. Bathrooms are great, nice hot shower. Communication was excellent. The cabins, covered wagons and tree houses look fun but we came with a camper. Hook ups were great. Conveniently off of the highway whick made it a great place to stop in the way to Florida! Would be great for a family.

Staff is always so helpful and professional. After hours check in is very easy. Bathhouse is AMAZING! Thank you for the great service and amenities.

My stay was good! My only complaint is the road noise from I-65. Irresptive of that, I would stay here again.

We truly enjoyed our stay at this KOA. It was our first trip out with our new RV and our first time at a KOA. The facilities we were very nice, well kept, maintained and clean. The owner even stopped by one evening at our camp fire to see how or group was doing for a short chat, very friendly people. Highly recommend this location!

This KOA was pricey for what we received. There wasn't any cable and the gravel lot was uneven. The KOA is built on a hill and our site was tipped with the front end much higher than the back end. There was road noise but the convenient location outweighed the noise. There was a horse in one of the fields below us that was fun to watch. The dog park was clean.

Great KOA with really nice bathrooms. Lots of activities for kids. About 20 minutes from Mammoth Cave. It is very close to a fairly busy highway with lots of trucks, so there is a lot of road noise even at night. Lots of street lights with the highway and nearby hotels so star gazing is almost non-existent. Pull-through spots for smaller trailers like ours were not entirely level. General store and office closes at 6 PM, early for a campground. Still, overall, we enjoyed camping here and would do it again.

We stayed here many years ago on our way home. Decided to book here again. WOW! Things have changed. We got a fabulous patio site that was twice the size of our camper. It had a gorgeous view of the Kentucky hills. Full hook up. The sites all looked very nice. They had teepees, covered wagons & a couple of treehouses. A nice area for tents as well. The pond is catch & release. The pool wasn't open yet. The bathrooms were outstanding! Recently remodeled? Clean as well. They had a nice camp store I really didn't get to explore. So many activities for kids. The worst thing I can say about it is there is highway noise from I-65, but really I feel we've had worse. Looks like a nice base camp for the surrounding area. Thanks office ladies for the Derby pie!
