Pool was very unsanitary, murky, and unkept. Kids playground was unsafe for children missing a few pieces of the walls. Camp spot was clean, well kept.

Very nice campsite. Several bathroom/showers which were very clean. Only issue which was good and bad is that park was close too I65. Alot of truck noise

The Lodging at this KOA is outstanding. We stayed in the treehouse and it was awesome it was the nicest cabin we stayed in out of 5 KOA cabins this summer but the rest of the park was kinda boring for my 8 year old we were there on a Saturday night and the only activity was the slide and the pool. The pool was old and small in need of much repair and only 2 tubes for the slide.

This campground is in a great location and is surrounded by beautiful scenery. The campground is kept in great condition. The bathhouse is one of the best I’ve seen. The staff made our stay easy and enjoyable.

We originally had a full hookup site (89?) but upon arrival discovered it was a short, drop-off down a hill site. We weren't comfortable with that and we were moved to site 9, but had trouble leveling out there. It appeared many of the sites were not level at the campground. The staff was great, amenities good. Interstate noise was loud! We did not like the all gender bathroom/shower house.

Convenient and nice campground. I could not figure out the WiFi. It didn’t work most of the time, so no internet for devices. Poor TV reception by antenna and no cable. Good location to area attractions.

Our stay was very nice! We arrived and asked to switch to a shadier site and we were able to (it was 95 degrees). The pool was very bad though, it was super green and cloudy. The second day we were there it was completely drained and refilled so we weren't abel to use until the day after. It was much better after being refilled, but still cloudy and still some dirt/grime along the walls.

WiFi didn’t work. Staffer said the tower needed to be reset and never did it. Traffic noise from 65 was awful. I booked my stay using some points and was abruptly told I couldn’t use them on a one day stay. Just wasn’t the normal KOA attitude.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Debra, not sure why the Wi-Fi didn't work we do not have towers to reset. Interstate traffic I cannot control.

Uneven lot, couldn't stabilize camper, no fault of campground, we could've asked for better space. If you are looking for cave tires and such, make sure u have a vehicle. We took ebikes, moved to a closer campground

Beautiful quiet campground. Location is superb, staff was knowledgeable and welcoming. Facilities were well kept and clean.

There are Pros and Cons. Good amenities for kids ... Playground, pool, jump pad, slide and fishing pond. Highway noise was LOUD but we eventually zoned it out. Our original spot had a steep drop off with no fence right behind our RV. With 2 small children, it was a safety concern so we asked to be moved. Staff was very accommodating. We still ended up with an open drop off but better.

Very nice. It was a quick overnight stay. Only used electric, but it was a full hookup pullthrough site.

It would have been nice to know I was parking the camper on the back side of a huge drop off because I have small children. I also got maybe 3 hours of sleep because the interstate is so close and the traffic never slowed. You can’t tell how close it is from pictures.

Wonderful campground with numerous ways to stay. Bathrooms are private and clean. Great place with many attractions in the area.

Great place my only complaint would be you can heat traffic in the distance. Definitely not a deal breaker! That being said the park is very clean and the staff is awesome.

Pull through sites were not wide, slides were almost in the road and awning definitely couldn’t be used. Majority of sites had electric and water in the most impractical spots possible. Hookups were on the porch side or the very end of spots. Dump station was on a hill so you had to leave the cg and go down the road to turn around and reenter. Easy to overcome but just not expected at a KOA.

Great stay but site wifi is useless. Clean park, very nice restrooms and other facilities. Friendly staff. As stated wifi was the big draw back, in and out and very small band width and we were right next to a booster.

We stayed in one of the tee pees and it was very clean. The only issues we had was there was no coffee maker in the unit as was advertised. When the office was notified they adjusted the rate.

While we appreciate that this KOA allows Living Quarter horse trailers (no horses), the noise from the interstate was too much. The campground is very well maintained. The facility is clean, the pool looked inviting & the staff, very friendly. This location is close to alot of local attractions.

We appreciated that we were able to arrive late and find our own spot we had reserved. We also appreciated that we never had to take the time to go in and register. Some KOAs are real sticklers about their rules and expectations (I'm looking at you Blue Ridge, GA!). We loved all there was to see and do at the KOA and in the area. Wish I'd asked to tour a wagon/teepee/treehouse!!

Loved the treehouse! Super clean, comfortable and cute! Check-in was very easy, the campground itself was nice with plenty to do for kids. Some of the playground could use a little TLC as well as the volleyball court, but the jump pillow, tube slide etc was great. The location was also great being close to so many attractions in Horse Cave and Cave City. We would definitely stay again!

We stayed at KOA Horse Cave July 26-30, four nights on site 92. The site was a pull thru gravel with full hookups, fire pit and picnic table. Pretty much in the sun all day. Across the road was a fenced in lot with a horse and donkey, that let us pet them. There is a pool, playground and jumping pillow to keep the kids entertained. Highly recommend this KOA

Loved our stay! Beautiful and clean deluxe cabin and really great amenities for the kids. The jumping pillow, slide, and pool were extremely fun and well maintained. This was our first time at a KOS, and it exceeded our expectations. Thanks for a great experience!

Really nice KOA, the bathrooms were lovely and super close to the cabin I rented. Breathtaking views across farm fields to the west. The highway is audible but not so loud we couldn't sleep.

Yall, the campground is nice! Not too big, only a few tent sites which is how I stayed, but plenty of RV sites, as well as the teepee and covered wagon sites. I didnt see the primitive cabins, but the treehouse cabins looked nice!! The bathrooms are so so nice for a campground!! That was the part I was most worried about in booking here, as I couldn't find much info about them, but rest assured, they are superb and clean and heated, which was really nice since it got down to 38° the nights we stayed, and thats a little chilly in a tent 😅 so it was nice to be able to warm up in a clean and warm shower ! Overall, definitely recommend the place:)
