We had a great time, lovely large Koa. We were in a back in site with full hook ups. Sites are nice but we, and neighbors had to work hard at getting camper level

The entrance of the park is very nice looking and clean, along with rest of park but it stops when you get to your pull thru site. We had site # 85 and from front to back was unlevel by 2.5' we could not get the coach level to put out our sides, in 6 years of full-time travel this was hands down worst site of any KOA or private park that we stay in, would not stay their again if site not level

We enjoyed our stay in Horse Cave. My husband was here two years ago for work so we wanted to come back and explore. While the campground was beautiful, the cabins had uncomfortable beds. We ended up leaving on day early for our return trip. Coming from the north, it was hard to comprehend the pool not being open when it was 80 outside.

My wife and I took a day off in the middle of the week to enjoy a break, and had a wonderful time in one of your tree houses. It felt like our own little cabin high up in the trees. We enjoyed an afternoon on the back deck where we could listen to the birds. We also loved going to Mammoth Cave National Park to experience one of the cave tours. A memorable and relaxing stay!

Very accommodating for a very late reservation. one of the nicest campgrounds I’ve ever stayed at, the individual bathrooms with showers were top notch. The lovely southern lady who took our reservation and helped us when we arrived was just the sweetest woman. We will stay again the next time we are in the area. Thank you for your hospitality.

Park has potential. The tree in the middle of the entrance is a huge obstacle and blocks access. Cement curbs are problematic as gravel sites are lower so its easy to bottom out your rv if you aren't careful. Staff are wonderful, bathrooms are superior and the park is very clean. Highway noise is very loud but we were fine by the second night.

Nice and clean campground, don’t expect to pick up any channels on tv if using antenna. WiFi is weak, had to use hotspot on phone to stream channels.

Paid for a pull through. They tried to give me a back in spot. The lot they gave us was narrow. We walked right out into the road from our camper.

Excellent facilities and camping accommodation alternatives. RV, tent, teepee, treehouse and Conestoga Wagons. Pool wasn't open yet, but still lots of playground area and structures for kids.

I enjoyed the area. The only notes I have is there wasn't any bait for sale. And the interstate noise was louder than expected

It was an awesome stay. We were on a working vacation so that was a perfect place to call home while we worked. The staff was very friendly and helpful especially when we found out that we needed to stay one extra day. The bathrooms were nice and clean. The children loved the horses.

Only spent 2 nights very clean and the maintenance man went above and beyond to help me find a temporary fix to replace a broken bolt on my trike it was not rideable be found one so I could go to the hardware store to get it

Great campground! Only negative comment… needs a bathhouse on the lowest level so it is not such a hike up to shower/use bathroom… especially for the elderly. Otherwise absolutely PERFECT!

We have stayed at quite a few KOA and this is in the top tier of KOA's. The bathrooms that they have are by-far the absolute bests, all KOA's should upgrade to this type. The amenities were well kept and the staff were very pleasant. I would recommend this KOA.

Very nice park, excellent staff, so I’ll rate it 5 stars. BUT- those two resident turkeys start at about 0630 and they are loud, drove our dog crazy- at least we got an early start each day. If you’re near the barn they’ll definitely pay you a visit, don’t plan on sleeping in.

Just one night and a shower, then we were on our way. Wayne showed us right to our site and answered questions we didn’t even know we needed. Thanks for the stay!!!!!

We requested a pull thru, we got site 23 which we were told to back in because of the incline on rear end of site. A coach parked on 6 after 10PM and ran generator all night. We had to wait 40 minutes in the AM for them to leave before we could pull out. We have 41" 5th and extended bed Ford. Not a good fit for this site.

Passing through and wanted to stop at Mammoth Cave. Campground could use more trash containers, especially towards the back.

It has been 20 years since the last time we were at Horse Cave KOA and it has gotten even better since then. We had a great week here and with all of the cave tours in the area we will be back in a couple years.

We were in "pull through" lot 30, parallel to the road. 40 foot 5th wheel 6 slides. Our steps were so close to the road one step from off the steps and we were in the road. Awning out more than half way was over the road and would be hit by another RV. No outside sitting area except in front, refused to bring us a picnic table every lot had one. Told no other spots, at 10PM we counted EIGHT. SUCKS

We loved this campground! The folks at the front desk were warm and inviting. The bathrooms were some of the cleanest we’ve ever experienced and we had a nice fire pit and picnic table at our spot. We loved it!

I am sure once the season starts this maybe a nice camp ground. They had several nice sites, so it really confused me why we were stuck on the side of a hill that was no way level, straight or big enough. We could never find the dumpster and staff was very scarce. Our hill/camp site faced the highway so we could enjoy every car, semi, ambulance, motorcycle and loud vehicles going by all night.

Rural atmosphere was nice but we arrived right after a power outage. Had trouble getting the TV to work and although I asked for assistance, no one showed up. A pair of turkeys provided a "wake up" call in the morning! I was disappointed that we were put in a cabin that had serious gulley wash-out right in front of the entrance, even though other cabins were available. I have pictures.

We absolutely loved our stay. We stayed in a covered wagon and it was perfect for our family of four. The view is stunning while sitting around the fire pit during the sunset. The bathroom were exceptionally clean and an easy walk. It was quiet and serene. The play area was excellent for our 4 year old twins. We will come back when the pools open for sure!

The covered wagon was so fun. The view was great and close to rhe nice bathroom facility. It stormed really hard and we stayed dry. Staff were friendly. The only downside was the wagon want clean. The refrigerator was dirty. The keurig had old coffee kcup in it and the whole wagon needed sweeping. Other than that, it was a nice stay.

The campsite had a lot of gravel, so definitely needed the sleeping pad. Additionally, there is a good bit of highway noise, and the fire ring doesn't have a cooking grate, so plan accordingly. The staff was very pleasant, and the bathrooms were very clean and looked to be recently updated. They also have a ton of amenities for kids to play with, which was great.

This was our first time staying at the campground and we were extremely impressed. The staff was beyond kind, the campsite is the cleanest we've ever stayed at, everything seemed to be brand new, and the landscaping was beautiful. Would recommend!
