The stay was nice, we will definitely be staying at KOA again. The staff are friendly and very helpful with our questions. Clean, private bathrooms, thank you!! I would like the option to be added to select your camping spot, even if an extra fee is charged, this ensures you like the spot you are given. It would be a great benefit to have an option to recycle plastic and aluminum cans.

The Treehouse was amazing. The whole family loved it and wants to come back. The campground amenities for kids were wonderful. We'll definitely come back! Only thing we'd suggest is including a few more standard furnishings such as hand soap for the bathroom & kitchen, extra trash bags, and another roll of paper towels. Also, the fireplace didn't work and the sliding door handle was missing.

Had a wonderful time at the horse cave KOA. The staff was super friendly and very helpful with anything we may have needed. Hope to visit again soon!

It was a beautiful stay! Our cabin was well stocked and decently clean. Our cabin was a bit close to the road making it hard to hear much else sadly and our bedsheets had some stains that appeared to be blood or something similar. They were clean but still the stains were a bit noticeable to the point I wouldn’t use the sheets provided and almost drove home to get my own.

Overall the campground is very nice. Lots of fun things for little ones to do. But the road noise from the interstate is very loud. Also the sewer hookup at our site was way high so it was difficult to drain the tanks

We stayed here as a stopping point on the way to Nashville and is a very quiet and peaceful location. It was the perfect place to stop and the bathrooms are AMAZING!!!

The campground was nice. But no dumpster or trash pickup. No communication about much at checkin; most places are proud to tell you about what they have going on; this one, not a word. Was the slide open? Who knows? Personally was offended by all the Halloween stuff, especially in September.

It’s an amazing campground. The staff is friendly and efficient. The bathrooms were always clean, individual and the best we have ever encountered!! Lot of fun things to do in the campground and perfect for families. Loved the horse and the other animals and just enjoyed sitting out seeing them. Thank you!!!!

Loudest KOA experience ever. Campground was practically empty, yet we were place in sites along interstate. Campground has many mature trees, but none in the unlevel sites along interstate, where we were. We never used restroom, because it was like climbing Mt. Whitney to get there from the row we were in. Would have been better off in a roadside rest area where it's flat and near restroom. UGH!!

Sorry for your you did not enjoy your stay. We do offer trash pickup daily from 11am to 12pm. as your reservation the system selected the site type you booked for. We would of be happy to move you if you had brought this to our attention during your stay. We do Halloween events in our park.

Very nice place. Bathrooms were the best we have ever been in, each person getting a complete clean room. Staff was friendly and helpful. The only thing missing was a place to wash dishes for tenters and small campers. Most KOAs have that.

We enjoyed our stay, and if we are ever in KY again, I would like to come back to your campground to stay. Would be cool to have the other family members stay in the treehouse, teepees or covered wagons. Definitely a different experience. My only regret is that I didn't check out the slide Sat'y evening. When I asked on Sunday, it was already closed for the season. Very hospitable host family.

The treehouse was beautiful knotty pine wood inside and there were lots of thoughtful seating groups outside - terrific patio, nice deck, picnic tables, adirondacks, lighting, gas grill. The loft has only about 5 ft of clearance, and there’s next to no room for storage of food or personal belongings, but we still had a lovely stay!

Didn’t like the layout of this Koa, highway view was not appealing and no one came to collect trash

Horse Cave KOA was a great campground to call home-base for our visit to Mammoth Cave National Park. Friendly staff, quiet accommodations, and large very clean bathrooms & showers...

The restrooms kept running out of tissue paper It wasn't really that bad walking on the gravel road But some of th bigger rocks could have been removed. Otherwise we had a good time staff was great Thank You Joe

Decent for a quick one night pit stop, but the noise from highway would be disturbing long term. Check in too way too long because the office worker was on the phone with a customer for nearly 20 minutes...I get it, she's currently dealing with a customer, but if you know you're having a 20 minute conversation at least acknowledge us, or have the person hold for 2 minutes to quickly check us in.

What a wonderful place for families! Horse Cave KOA has several playgrounds, many options for RVs, tents, and cabins, and lots of fun things for kids to do. The dog parks are clean! The area is quiet.

We were concerned that the traffic would keep us awake but it was fine. One difference, from other KOA's we have stayed, was that we were not escorted to our site or told how to park in that particular site. The site was a bit challenging but we figured it out. However, the property itself was very nice and the dog park was wonderful. The staff were nice as well. It was a nice stay.

Stayed 1-night, facility was very clean and maintained. Had lots of activities for kids and us older kids. Somewhat noisy as close to busy highway.

We just stayed 1 night. The campground was very clean. Our site was not very level though even though it had a concrete pad. Small with not a lot of amenities but handled the basic needs of a campground.

Cons, site was barely wide enough for our camper, our awning actually hung into the road. Pool was in rough shape and had to be constantly filled using the water hose from the dump station. Pros, very clean all around. Bathhouse was extremely nice snd clean. Staff were nice. Very close to Mammoth Cave national Forest, and other amenities.

We were welcomed very nicely and treated greatly. Our cabin was lovely and the staff was always friendly and ready whenever we needed them. The events at Halloween was such a blast! The July 4th fireworks were fantastic! It was convenient to get to all the attractions around the area from the campground. It was peaceful and comfortable there. We look forward to coming back!!!

Really nice KOA, the bathrooms were lovely and super close to the cabin I rented. Breathtaking views across farm fields to the west. The highway is audible but not so loud we couldn't sleep.

Yall, the campground is nice! Not too big, only a few tent sites which is how I stayed, but plenty of RV sites, as well as the teepee and covered wagon sites. I didnt see the primitive cabins, but the treehouse cabins looked nice!! The bathrooms are so so nice for a campground!! That was the part I was most worried about in booking here, as I couldn't find much info about them, but rest assured, they are superb and clean and heated, which was really nice since it got down to 38° the nights we stayed, and thats a little chilly in a tent 😅 so it was nice to be able to warm up in a clean and warm shower ! Overall, definitely recommend the place:)
